Great romantic setting for couples!
Our adorable log cabin is a 1 bedroom loft with a queen size bed and a full bath. It is 930 square feet of coziness, constructed of large logs which makes it very unique. Wake up and gaze out at the lake without getting out of bed or better yet, have breakfast in bed, it has a great view from the loft. Enjoy spending days around the cabin, we have fishing (catch and release only), two kayaks and one canoe for lazy trips around the lake. Go swimming right outside your front door to cool down. Bring your dog, there is a large fenced in back yard for hours of play time. Cook on our charcoal grill (charcoal included) and enjoy a great meal at the picnic table or on our large front porch. If you enjoy walking, walk on the many miles of roads on Line Runner Ridge, take a hike in the woods or around the lake. After a long day at the cabin, enjoy the fire pit in the back yard fixing smore's or grab a drink and take a relaxing bath in our old fashion claw foot bath tub with tee light candles. Play some good old fashion board games or just kick back and watch TV. The living room has an electric “old fashion stove” to set the mood. Our unique kitchen is filled with everything you need, from cooking a gourmet meal or just hot dogs, it comes complete with a gas stove and oven, microwave convection oven, coffee maker, coffee, tea pot with soothing tea, toaster oven and a dishwasher.

Located 5 minutes from Brevard is the fabulous Brevard Music Center. Situated on a wooded 180-acre campus, founded in 1936, the Music Center is one of this country's premier summer training programs and music festivals. This is only the beginning of the music scene Brevard has to offer: The Porter Center at Brevard College hosts many world renowned artists as well as local talent. There are many other local venues hosting local and regional musicians. The Phoenix Lounge features a different musician each night of the week. You are guaranteed to find something for even the pickiest of music enthusiasts.

Close to the Brevard Music Center you will find The Bracken Mountain Preserve, a 395 acre recreation area, owned by the City of Brevard. Mountain bikers, trail runners and nature lovers can explore its 7.1 miles of trails. Bracken Mountain trail connects directly to the Pisgah National Forest trail system.

Dupont State Forest

If some light hiking and waterfalls are what you're looking for, then Dupont State Forest should be your destination. This is where we first took Lola for a hike after she came into our lives. Bonus: It's also where the first Hunger Games movie was filmed!

Frying Pan

This is a nice short hike up an easy forest service road to a lookout tower. 1.5 miles roundtrip, with 360 degree views at the top.

Black Balsam

Some of the most popular hiking in the area. This can be a short out-and-back, or a nice loop. Choose your own adventure!

Looking Glass

Venture down to our little town of Brevard to check out this more strenuous hike to the top of one of the most unique and iconic geographic features of our area. A great 6.5 mile hike.

Art Loeb

If you're going to be spending more than just the weekend in the area and are looking for a challenge, you can give the 30.1-mile Art Loeb trail a try. We've done it twice now, taking 3 days/2 nights each time to backpack it. Let us know if this is up your alley and we'll share some valuable advice about confusing intersections and water sources!
Enjoy nearby Pisgah Forest: 15 minute drive: Home of the nation’s first school of forestry where you can picnic, camp, hike, rock climb, fish, swim, slide, float, hunt, bike, mountain bike, ride your horse, rent a horse, learn about forestry, find waterfalls, sightsee, experience the NC Fish Hatchery, navigate the Blue Ridge Parkway, or just relax! Brevard features expert outdoor guides for every level of outdoor experience. Whether you are with your family for a picnic, taking a day hike or looking for something more challenging, there is adventure for everyone. The Hub, Sycamore Cycles and Pura Vida Adventures are located right at the entrance to the forest. You are guaranteed to find whatever level of adventure you are after. Take an easy day hike or go more extreme with kayaking, rock climbing or canyoneering.

Dupont State Forest: 20 Minute Drive: Explore Triple, Bridal Veil, Hooker, High and Wintergreen Falls. Cedar Rock Mountain with its hundreds of acres of exposed granite makes it a popular destination for Bikers and Hikers! DuPont offers mountain biker ride opportunities ranging from easy forest roads to exciting single track. All trails are open to horses except for Triple Falls Trail and a few foot trails that are clearly marked. You can also take a Hunger Games Tour and feel like Katniss Everdeen for a day.

Historic Hendersonville: 30 minute drive: Visit the Carl Sandburg home, Flat Rock Playhouse State Theater and Apple Festival street fair (Aug 29- Sept 1). Great shopping along Main Street! West First Wood Fired Pizza will not disappoint you!

Asheville NC: 45 minute drive: The “Big City” offers a little bit for everyone: from fine dining to food trucks, walking trails to zip line tours, breweries to The Sky Bar, chocolates to chocolate covered potato chips, high class to hippie, homemade ice cream to homemade quilts, Mexican to Moroccan, trolley tours to comedy tours, downtown to the River Arts District. Whatever you are looking for you will find it here, especially if you are looking for delicious food or locally crafted beers. Asheville is Beer City USA with countless breweries popping up each year. It has been called a mini Portland. Asheville is a place you do not want to miss; with the motto “Keep Asheville Weird” you know you are in for a treat.

The property sits on forty seven acres, most of which has been purposely left undisturbed, ensuring space for local wildlife and privacy for the farm. The cabin's large picture windows frame meticulously maintained pastures bordered by streams and springs that flow into a pond located directly in front of the cabin. The covered porch overlooks a waterfall that is beautiful to look at and soothing to hear, especially as one drifts off to sleep. Come morning, enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the horses graze and the ducks dabble for their breakfast on the pond. Guests are welcome to walk the property and meet the horses.

The cabin has an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living room area. This design feature takes full advantage of the floor-to-ceiling windows to offer unrestricted views and a feeling of connection with the land and life that surround the cabin. The living room is tastefully furnished with a couch and two armchairs. For entertainment, there is a flat screen television, a DVD player, and unlimited internet via fiber optic for streaming TV or surfing the web.

The master suite downstairs has a king size bed, walk in closet, and private bath. The soothing sound of the water is particularly nice in this bedroom. Upstairs is a roomy loft area with another full bath, a queen bed as well as two single beds. One of the single beds can be collapsed and moved out of the way if not needed. The cabin is air conditioned and separate temperature controls in the master bedroom, loft, and great room ensure maximum comfort during the summer months.

The Kitchen is equipped with a microwave, electric range, refrigerator with an ice maker, dishwasher, blender, and coffee maker. There is also a stacked washer and dryer unit. Additionally there is a barbecue grill and outside dining area located behind the cabin in its private yard. Access to the property is private, entry is via an electric gate. Guests are assigned a unique entry code prior to their arrival.

Located just off of Hwy 64, we are convenient to Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway, and Highlands to the West, Brevard and Hendersonville to the East, Asheville to the north, and the upstate of South Carolina to the South. All of these locations have a lot to offer from great restaurants to great antiquing. The major hubs of Atlanta to the south and Charlotte to the east are both only 2 1/2 hours drive away.

Transylvania county is the land of waterfalls and hiking, biking, cycling, and sightseeing destinations are literally only minutes away. For hikers and mountain bikers, Jocassee State Park is only 2.3 miles down the road and for cyclists there are miles of bike routes all through Transylvania county. Should fly fishing, tubing, or kayaking interest you, both the Davidson river and the French Broad Rivers are just minutes away. For the horse enthusiast, there are several stables in the area that offer trail rides, but reservations are a must. We are also close to DuPont State Forest, Pisgah State Forest, and Caesars Head State Park. The Biltmore Estate with its winery, grounds, and gardens in Asheville is only 35 miles north.

Because of the numerous water features and four legged animals already on the property, we are unable to accommodate pets or small children. But if you are looking for a place geared towards the adult traveler, Falling Water Farm is for you.

Made with couples and single guests in mind... Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains only 8 miles from the heart of Brevard is our private studio retreat. Outside city limits, the rural setting brings peace and relaxation. At an elevation of approximately 2,500 feet, our secluded home overlooks the wooded hillside.

Your private entrance opens to a large, well-lit room. The queen bed, living area and kitchenette make up the studio. Above the fireplace set in fieldstone is a flat screen HDTV that can be pulled out and turned to face whichever part of the room you are seated. The Kitchenette includes Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, Air Fryer Grill/bake (we do not have a standard oven), Nuwave hot plate, drip coffee maker, blender and kitchen accessories (cookware, plates, glasses, mugs...) are supplied in cabinets and pantry. The pantry provides extra storage as well as an area for the free standing garment rack. An iron, ironing board and other necessities are included for your convenience. Note: Fireplace is electric. No need for wood indoors. Also note, a queen air mattress is available upon request.

The studio is designed for two people with short visits in mind. Maximum stay: 7 nights.

Entry to the studio is accessible via a walkway which runs along the back of the house and is covered by our second story deck. The first part of this walkway has storage against the building for home supplies. Outside your private area, there is a picnic table and seating area with a view of the hillside and forest. There are three steps that lead to your private entrance. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Starlink fast speed WiFi Streaming services include YouTubeTV, Stars, Prime, Paramount +, Peacock and Roku.

Relax around the firepit overlooking the hillside. Please bring locally purchased firewood if you wish to have a fire. An attachment for grilling is available. We also have a small charcoal grill just right for two available upon request. Bring charcoal if that’s your preference.

We are pet-friendly… “dog” friendly. Our PET FEE is $25 PER DOG PER STAY. Sorry, no cats or puppies. Two small dogs or one large dog.

We have a social dog who enjoys playing with other dogs and is usually off-leash. Charlie will most-likely be the first to greet you. Our yard is not fenced.

Our road is part gravel and part paved.

Note: Our water is better than bottled. The well water is treated with a high end filtration system. Feel free to drink from the sink! Also, we are on-site, so if there’s anything you need during your stay, just ask!

Good set up, privacy, excellent functionality, nice hot shower and roomy bathroom, and great sleeping bed. The "living" room is an absolute eye draw with it's beautiful stone fireplace. The scenery to the apt is peaceful and serene, and a pleasure to take in (once you figure the easiest route in...spouse and I are navigationally challenged). Lists, and maps, and a book of notes were great tools for planning our activities. Appropriately themed arts and crafts and mountain decor keep the mountain getaway feel going. Didnt get to see a bear or white squirrel, but the opportunity is there ! Enjoyable !!"

Please be aware: 4 wheel drive is required to drive to the top of the driveway. Alternatively, there are parking spaces at the bottom of the driveway. It is a .15 mile, very steep hike to the top, so pack lightly if you plan to hike in!

Newly remodeled private treehouse on a secluded 16 acre mountain top property. With HUGE views, private acreage, and tons of outdoor living space, our tiny 164 sq-ft studio style treehouse won't disappoint. This unique property is surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and close to Dupont State Forest, Nantahala National Forest, and Gorges State Park. Plan to hike to waterfalls, fly fish, kayak, tube, and visit local breweries, or just decompress, relax, and enjoy the view!

The treehouse has a spacious outdoor living area with a hot tub, fire pit, picnic table, grill, tent pad, upstairs deck, and downstairs huge covered porch, all with an amazing view of the Blue Ridge mountains. Our treehouse is "studio style" and includes a kitchen with all new stainless appliances, full bathroom with tiled shower, sleeper sofa with a full bed, and a sleeping loft with new full and twin size mattresses. Both mattresses are in the sleeping loft and a ladder is required to get to loft. Alternatively, there is a full sleeper sofa on the main level and a memory foam pad available for additional comfort and support.

There is no WiFi available, but cell service should be good. Our guests have not had an issue with cell service so far.

Property is near Rosman and Brevard, NC with access to nearby hiking and mountain biking trails, waterfalls, fly fishing, kayaking, tubing, breweries, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several public access points to the North Fork Broad River along the main road up to the treehouse. Our property is located in Transylvania County, known as the Land of Waterfalls, with over 200 waterfalls in the county. There are more than 25 trails with over 600 miles of biking and hiking within the surrounding forests.

Come and visit our newly and completely renovated 1940 in town home. You will enjoy the light and open feel of this home. It is a 2 bedroom /1 bath, 1300 square foot home with new central air and heat, wireless internet, smart televisions with cable, natural stone gas fireplace, bright and cheerful sunroom, and beautiful granite countertops on custom built cabinets. Some of the home's original features were kept and enhanced such as the front door, archways, windows and hardwood floors which gives the home a nice mix of old and new. Chestnut Haven is situated on 2.5 acres, very secluded and peaceful. Vaulted ceilings with 100 year old wormy chestnut wood, hefty hammer beams and a gas log fireplace with stonework to the ceiling. We have a large beech tree securing the staircase with rustic mountain laurel twigs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes utensils, etc and granite counter tops. Bedrooms are comfortable with cotton sheets, and soft quilts and comforters. Thirsty cotton bath towels are in each bathroom. If we've forgotten anything, please let us know. Your comfort and enjoyment is our #1 priority.

Step out of your bubble bath or shower to a freshly warmed fluffy towel. In the walk in closet we have provided two spa robes for your stay- try one of those in that towel warmer- it’s like wrapping yourself in a heavenly hug!

Just off the dining area is a deck with outdoor dining for additional 8 and a propane grill.
Fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, bakeware, casserole, dishes, blender, crockpot, rice cooker, Keurig duo, kettle, and staples like coffees, teas, sugar, honey, and seasonings. Oh yes— Popcorn maker with popcorn and seasoning… For those movie nights in the awesome Theatre downstairs!
The hall bathroom is also upstairs and has a stand up shower. We provide use of the washer & dryer to include some laundry detergent.
Downstairs you will find the Bear Den with bunk beds and trundle that provides 5 twin beds. Go down and play a competitive game of Foosball or 12 in 1 PacMan arcade. The Bear Den has a Roku TV.
The Theatre Room is downstairs as well and has 5 reclining theatre seats, large bean bag pillow pad as well as two bean bags. We provide an assortment of DVDs to watch on the projector or you can stream your favorite movie or show via the connected Roku as well.
The Spa Deck is accessible via the Bear Den. There is a door chain lock out of reach of children for safety, please be sure any children under 12 are supervised by an adult on the Spa Deck. Here you will find the Hot Tub to soak your worries away. The infrared sauna is also on this deck and can provide many health benefits along with sweating out toxins and restoring those achy joints from a day of hiking or riding. The basket in the Bear Den closet has some fantastic Turkish Spa towels that are so lightweight and dry quickly. There is a great bistro table on this Spa Deck that is also perfect to enjoy a refreshing glass of water or watch the sun come up with a lovely cup of coffee. The ambiance with the strong lights and even a Torch Bluetooth speaker can be the best part of your Soak & Unwind experience on the Spa Deck.
We cannot forget to mention the all seasons Sunroom. This is located on the main level just off the Family room. There is a sofa that is also a pull out when you need the extra queen size bed. There is a rocking chair, which makes it my favorite spot to take in the lovely Mountain View from this room while listening to vinyl records. What a way to enjoy a few quite moments! There is also a 4 seat table in the Sunroom that is perfect for a cup of coffee and good conversations, or maybe a game of chess or cards? Choice is yours how you make the memories with your group.

- "Great location just outside of the town of Rosman. And not a bad drive to Brevard. Plenty of hiking and waterfalls nearby. Property is excellent and well supplied. The theater room is incredible to watch DVDs or use the Roku. I loved the video game and there are plenty of boardgames and puzzles to occupy you. Loved having the "spa" downstairs with the hot tube and sauna. Just a couple of things to be aware of: 1) the driveway is steep and very narrow (did not encounter any oncoming traffic during our stay), 2) when you first use the front door keypad you may use some foul words (sorry about that on your Ring Cam) but follow the instruction in the book and press the random two numbers that pop up and then the full screen will appear 3) if you are going to have 3 cars you will need to study some geometrics to move the cars around. BUT none of this takes away from the property. Highly recommend and would certainly rent this property again!!!"

The pond is accessible for you, guests at creekside cottage & guests at the other dome. The creek is as well.

Is the Hot Tub for only my group?
YES this is only for your group. The other dome gets access to the sauna and Creekside Cottage has its own hot tub.

What do you advise we bring?
Firewood.If needed plates, cups, utensils, coffee & coffee filters. If you are a colder person bring a heavy duty sleeping bag or extra blankets to be safe. Good shoes as it may get slippery/muddy. Fishing gear if you want to catch some trout for dinner. Portable grill or skillet if needed. Bug spray, adventure energy, swimsuits. You may want to try a dip in the creek and back to the hot tub for a Wim Hof experience.

This is an unfinished house, the builder got sick and is now too old to finish. He doesn’t live in the area and we have not seen anybody on that property for years. The yellow house is not on our property though so we ask that you be respectful and stay away from it.

Looking for a long term rental for one person with a private bedroom; shared bathroom, kitchen, and living space. My place is close to family-friendly activities in Brevard. The city center, nature trails, and waterfalls, are a only a short drive away. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for solo adventurer. Located 2 miles from town or 2 miles from Wal-Mart. The Asheville airport is about 25 minutes away.

The space
There is plenty to do in Brevard which is near Asheville and Hendersonville. This delightful home sits in a quaint, safe, small town with galleries, great restaurants, and an awesome library with free programs and concerts! Surrounding it is renowned Brevard Music Center that has many diverse summer programs. There is a movie theater, gorgeous mountains with many waterfalls, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, horseback riding, the Blue Ridge Parkway and many great breweries, festivals, and destinations for outdoor fun or music. There is a safe place here to store a bike or small kayak as well.

The chemical onslaught of the world can make you ill, but I offer a space that is private, quiet, and free of toxic chemicals. I clean with alcohol, water, and Hydrogen peroxide. No chemicals like bleach, or things with dyes and perfumes are used as they are toxic. For the laundry, I use baking soda, borax, a chemical free, scent free detergent and wool dryer balls. Because I follow Medical Medium and have healed so many chronic conditions mainly using a plants only lifestyle, I want to make a home away from home for health minded folks. I have had a terrible time finding this in my travels so I proudly offer it to you! Come here for a safe, chemical free respite from the world.

FOR STAYS UP TO 7 DAYS: My home is peaceful, immaculately clean, and decorated beautifully. There are two fridges with freezer compartments available; there is a water filter on the shower, and for drinking; those are changed regularly by homeowner. Utilities and Wifi included.

Out back, there is a deck with umbrella and a hammock on this one acre property where a creek runs. Homeowner is quiet and works from home; open to conversation or willing to give complete privacy. There is a door that encapsulates guest in privacy from the rest of the house, but talking, music & movies without earbuds, are disruptive between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

I like to meet and greet and show you around. You will access your private bedroom and bathroom down the hall on the right. The bedroom has a full size dresser and a file cabinet. The bathroom has a black and white floor with an infrared sauna for your exclusive use during your stay. You may lock your bedroom and the bathroom from the inside but not from the outside.

Enjoy the Ride Tiny House offers a simple affordable solution for a single person or cozy couple visiting Brevard. It has 1 twin size bed. Your welcome to set up a tent outside if you need room for more. It's located 3 miles south from Down Town. 10 min from either DuPont or Pisgah. Its just outside of city limits and has a stocked outdoor fire pit on site. Relax by the camp fire and roast marshmallows. You can stay in, have pizza delivered Or bring something to cook on the charcoal grill.

The space
Living tiny is an experience in its self. It's a simple little house with a lot to offer in a small package. The TWIN size loft bed is spacious for a single person or just enough room for a cozy couple. The bed and bathroom are the same room to save space. The bed does require stepping up a small step stool to access. Not ideal for older person or anyone who may have hard time stepping up. It has 1 TWIN size bed. It's got a 2x3ft wide shower with plenty of hot water, full size toliet, the bathroom sink has low water pressure however the kitchen sink has good flow + tile counter top, refrigerator, microwave, induction hot plate, k cup coffee maker. Out side fire pit is stocked with plenty of firewood and comfortable lawn chairs. Charcoal Grill on site with supplies + a wash station if you need to clean your mountain bike. I live in the bigger house close by so if you need anything text me. I'm not far away. No TV your welcome to bring your own tablet or iPad and use wifi.

This is a safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood just minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores and night life.
You can adjust your heat or AC to your liking. Comfortable new queen size mattress and lots of pillows. New tile shower and soft towels. If you forgot your toothbrush, or razor we have a supply of toiletries for you as well as shampoo, shower gel, and a hair dryer.
We have a small dog and cat that live here but are not allowed upstairs in guest space.

While your suite is well equipped and spacious, you are more than welcome to use the back deck to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings watching the birds and squirrels or enjoy your dinner here. A hose is located near the parking area to wash off your bikes or boots after being in the forest.
I am happy to store extra food in my refrigerator for you if it doesn't fit upstairs. Unregistered guests are not allowed inside.

I am usually available to share suggestions for dining, hiking, events, and points of interest so you can fully enjoy our community. There are no Ubers in this area and only one cab. I am sometimes available to provide rides with advance notice.

While they are not allowed in the guest suite, we do have a call dog and a cat. This space may not be ideal for those averse to them, or severely allergic.

Our cozy TINY home is the perfect getaway for up to three guests! Thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience, this charming space features a full-size bed on the main level and a twin-size bed in the loft, providing a restful stay for couples, solo travelers, or small groups. This tiny home is situated among three other tiny homes. Quiet hours are followed and is still private for you to be able to enjoy your stay!

This tiny home is located within a charming tiny home community, where you’ll find other tiny homes nearby. While you’ll have your own private space, please note that quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. Enjoy the sense of community while still having a cozy retreat to call your own!

Bear Branch has a 32x32 in shower with instant hot water. Full size toilet, kitchen sink, microwave and k cup coffee maker. The lower twin size bed is perfect for a single travler or a cozy couple. If you need an aditional bed another twin mattress is a short climb away in the loft area. Outside the tiny house you can cook on propane and/ or a charcoal grill. Also have a stocked fire pit so you can enjoy a campfire. Firewood, bottled water, coffee and items to make smores are always provided!

The space
If you need to wash your mountain bike. A bike wash station is around the side of the tiny house. The trash and recycling can are hidden under kitchen sink.

Other things to note
If your here for the hiking or mountain biking. DuPont State Forest, Pisgah National Forrest, Caesars Head State Park, Connesstee Falls Park, Gorges State Park are all with in 10- 20minute drive away. Downtown Brevard is only 5 minutes . Asheville airport is a 30min drive.
