Made with couples and single guests in mind... Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains only 8 miles from the heart of Brevard is our private studio retreat. Outside city limits, the rural setting brings peace and relaxation. At an elevation of approximately 2,500 feet, our secluded home overlooks the wooded hillside.

Your private entrance opens to a large, well-lit room. The queen bed, living area and kitchenette make up the studio. Above the fireplace set in fieldstone is a flat screen HDTV that can be pulled out and turned to face whichever part of the room you are seated. The Kitchenette includes Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, Air Fryer Grill/bake (we do not have a standard oven), Nuwave hot plate, drip coffee maker, blender and kitchen accessories (cookware, plates, glasses, mugs...) are supplied in cabinets and pantry. The pantry provides extra storage as well as an area for the free standing garment rack. An iron, ironing board and other necessities are included for your convenience. Note: Fireplace is electric. No need for wood indoors. Also note, a queen air mattress is available upon request.

The studio is designed for two people with short visits in mind. Maximum stay: 7 nights.

Entry to the studio is accessible via a walkway which runs along the back of the house and is covered by our second story deck. The first part of this walkway has storage against the building for home supplies. Outside your private area, there is a picnic table and seating area with a view of the hillside and forest. There are three steps that lead to your private entrance. It is not wheelchair accessible.

Starlink fast speed WiFi Streaming services include YouTubeTV, Stars, Prime, Paramount +, Peacock and Roku.

Relax around the firepit overlooking the hillside. Please bring locally purchased firewood if you wish to have a fire. An attachment for grilling is available. We also have a small charcoal grill just right for two available upon request. Bring charcoal if that’s your preference.

We are pet-friendly… “dog” friendly. Our PET FEE is $25 PER DOG PER STAY. Sorry, no cats or puppies. Two small dogs or one large dog.

We have a social dog who enjoys playing with other dogs and is usually off-leash. Charlie will most-likely be the first to greet you. Our yard is not fenced.

Our road is part gravel and part paved.

Note: Our water is better than bottled. The well water is treated with a high end filtration system. Feel free to drink from the sink! Also, we are on-site, so if there’s anything you need during your stay, just ask!

- "This may be a studio apt, but it functioned and felt like a three room vacation condo, with your own private balcony. Good set up, privacy, excellent functionality, nice hot shower and roomy bathroom, and great sleeping bed. The "living" room is an absolute eye draw with it's beautiful stone fireplace. The scenery to the apt is peaceful and serene, and a pleasure to take in (once you figure the easiest route in...spouse and I are navigationally challenged). Lists, and maps, and a book of notes were great tools for planning our activities. Appropriately themed arts and crafts and mountain decor keep the mountain getaway feel going. Didnt get to see a bear or white squirrel, but the opportunity is there ! Enjoyable !!"

The Large beautiful suite that is bright with modern decor and great local art. This suite is totally private and separate that encompasses the lower level of a ranch style home. It has a separate key-less entrance, driveway and patio with fire pit. Large yard with old oak trees and mountain views with an easy walk to downtown. Newly remodeled with large king bedroom and large living room with 55 inch TV. *Please note this is a suite and does not have a kitchen but does have a 4.7 cubic ft refrigerator and Keurig K-cup coffee maker.

Secluded property at 3200 ft elevation. Located 10 miles from Caesar’s Head and 10 miles Brevard. Close to many hiking trails, waterfalls and shopping excursions. A great place for hikers, mountain bikers.

Every day brings a different and beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC to the North. Come rain, shine, sleet or snow, it is heaven on "Bow Mountain". Lots of good hiking choices. Close by: Reece Place Falls. It's only 3/4 mile from the cabin as the crow flies (2.5 miles by car down East Fork plus the mile hike). A really beautiful fall with low traffic.

Access to private bike track and outdoor fire pit. Walkable to downtown Brevard, The Music Center, The Lumberyard District, and the Bracken Mountain Trail! though all available soundproofing technology was used sometimes you can hear light foot steps above. also the tankless water heater/dehumidifier makes a little noise too. jtlyk lol

The fridge holds more than 2 cases of beer just on the door shelves....so it's perfect for Mountain Bikers. The grill made every return from the trails tasty. This apartment is private, quiet and secluded. We are just a short hike or bike from neighborhood access to Bracken Mountain Trails which leads right into Pisgah. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay to enjoy all that Brevard has to offer. We are in the mountains, but also only 2 miles from downtown. This is a down stairs apartment with a private entrance and outdoor space. When not away traveling we live upstairs, but there are just two of us with no children. You will not know we are there unless you want us for anything you may need. We go out of our way to be quiet when we are home with guests down stairs. There is space for two vehicles right by the stairs to the apartment for guests.

All dogs are welcome! The deck has gates on both ends to keep your pet contained if you wish to do so.

- "This is the perfect place close to Brevard NC. Quiet and nestled in the woods, but yet minutes from downtown. Close to the national forrest and all the activities and sites that are available there. The rental space is in the basement and my wife and I loved it. We never heard or saw the owners, and felt like we had it all to ourselves. It is well appointed and clean...everything you could need. The space
True Brevard is situated on a one-acre homestead in city limits. The apartment is centralized at the back of York Circle and is affixed to a 1950’s era barn that has been renovated twice by previous generations of your host. There are chickens, gardens, and many young children in this old-world neighborhood. Every home is over 100 years old. We don’t recommend you book this if you’re avoiding any overlap with other people, especially children, as you walk between the barn apartment and your vehicle. Your hosts live and work this land, and they (especially their young, lively children) would love to say hello!

Walk inside and breathe in the old-world soul. Note the poplar paneling milled from trees on this property. The entire barn similarly was milled from white pine on the property almost 80 years ago. The flooring is the original Biltmore-Carr yellow pine flooring that was installed in the 50’s. The slate kitchen island was sourced in WNC, and the countertops were also milled from property poplar and installed by your hosts. The front door and kitchen shelves are genuine American Chestnut wood. The privacy windows in the kitchen and bathroom are over 100 years old and were once installed in the Rosman Tannery – they have been carefully loved and restored.

Bike the short 0.5 mile up Osborne Road to access the Greenway which leads directly to Pisgah National Forest. The views of the old Davidson River will take your breath away, and the little waterfalls and secluded “hollers” will settle even the busiest mind. Stop at Oscar Blues Brewery on the way back (accessed by a short connector off the greenway) and renourish yourself. Head back to True Brevard to wind down. There’s a dedicated place to park your bike outside the apartment.

The bathroom boasts a clawfoot soaking tub and luxury walk in shower. Pick a book on the communal shelf, and take a relaxing bath while your mind wanders.

If you need a day to decompress, stay in and cook yourself a meal in the full kitchen. Chefs help yourselves to the culinary herbs in the garden.

There are two dedicated parking spaces in the gravel lot in front of the old barn. These spots are marked with "Guest" signs. Please make sure to pull your vehicle all the way forward to the stone barriers. We don't want you to block in the hosts' vehicles which park closer to the barn.

You access the True Brevard barn apartment through the garden gate. The main entrance is in the small courtyard there. We ask that you don't venture past the courtyard or off the private back porch, please respect our privacy.

Every day brings a different and beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC to the North. Come rain, shine, sleet or snow, it is heaven on "Bow Mountain". Lots of good hiking choices. Close by: Reece Place Falls. It's only 3/4 mile from the cabin as the crow flies (2.5 miles by car down East Fork plus the mile hike). A really beautiful fall with low traffic.

The bike track landscape changes with the seasons, pictures on the site show winter when the plants are dead. During spring and summer it looks much different with natural fauna and more privacy.

The modern atomic bathroom includes everything you need to feel fresh!

Less than 5 minutes from Pisgah National Forest, 15 minutes from DuPont State Forest, and 30 minutes to Gorges State Park--adventure is all around and easy to access. You can cook in the full kitchen or dine in downtown Brevard (10 minutes) or Asheville (40 minutes). Roomy basement studio apartment sleeps up to 6 and has room dividers for privacy. Close to trails and breweries!

The apartment boasts 1800 square feet of open space for you and yours to spread out. With two bedroom areas, two sitting areas, and a full kitchen, you can't beat the space for the price! The open floor plan is spacious and bright, and curtained dividers provide privacy for the bedroom areas. The TV area has a wide-ranging DVD collection for downtime entertainment.

The full, private bathroom offers a closeted commode, a farmhouse sink, and a shower with a seat, heat/fan, and a beverage shelf so you can make the most of your shower time.

Our newly renovated 1,500 square foot BASEMENT APARTMENT, with 8 foot high ceilings is waiting for you!

We provide light breakfast options, snacks and a beverage center stocked with local beers and sodas. On cool nights enjoy our huge outdoor fire pit area.

The space
Our house sits on a corner lot. We live on the top floor (so you may hear footsteps, but we try to be very quiet). Please consider this before booking.
You will have a private entrance through the keyless garage doors. You may park in the single car garage or use it as storage for any of your gear-kayaks, bikes, crash pads etc. Garage has a bike stand, tools, air compressor and wash area. We are in walking distance to Brevard College’s 18 hole disc golf course.
Inside- a full size arcade games with 12 retro games-Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Dig Dug and more!!!! An extra mini fridge/freezer is in the garage for your use.
Once entering there is a large mud room, and laundry room. The bathroom is through the laundry room. All linens and toiletries are provided. Feel free to use both washer and dryer if you would like.
There is a large great room with a dining table and convertible sofa. There is a 50 inch smart tv with Apple TV and WiFi. There are also games for kids and adults. Both bedrooms have queen beds.
There is also a dry bar with a stocked beverage center, a stocked snack cooler, toaster oven, microwave, and a Keurig. Oatmeal, cereals, milk and alternative milks are provided for a quick breakfast. Plates, cups and utensils are also provided. Note****this is not a FULL kitchen-See photos.****
There is an outdoor fire pit, a hammock and seating for your use.

Brevard has a quaint downtown area with lots of local gems. Some good local restaurants are Wild Morel, The Bohemian, Square Root and Smoky Sunrise. Cup and Saucer is a wonderful cafe, and Blue Ridge Bakery is amazing. A fantastic local bar with live music and food is 185 King. Oskar Blues is our absolute go to brewery that is great for families. Bold Rock Cidery, Burning Blush and Mills River Brewing all serve food and are all worth the 15-20 minute drive.

This makes for a perfect getaway for singles, couples and small families. Super comfortable queen beds with soft microfiber sheets. We use only free and clear eco friendly products in this beautiful calm comfortable apt providing you an intimate and simple stay. Brevard isn’t only known for the beautiful waterfalls but also the amazing breweries and delicious food. Ecusta and Brevard Breweries are great places to start out and The Square Root or The Falls Landing make for a savory ending.

Kaedin’s Cave has a contemporary feel tucked away in Brevard NC, also known as Land of the waterfalls, with lots of new upgrades throughout. You have a private entrance. We have a 50in smart tv located in living room with wi-fi connectivity. Both bedrooms have queen size beds, chairs for relaxing while enjoying peace and quite during your stay! There is also a queen size air-mattress with linens for more quests. The kitchen is equipped with all your cooking essentials. We also have coffee and tea to start your morning off right!The cave is kid friendly! Full bathroom that is completely renovated including all toiletries.
Notes:
We are a 10 minute walk to downtown Brevard , enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains with everything our small town has to offer. Including Brevard Music Center, Oskar Blues Brewery and the elusive white squirrels. We are located 2 miles from Pisgah National Forest, 13 miles from Dupont State Forest and 20 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are also 20 minute drive to Hendersonville, and 30 minute drive to Asheville to visit the great Biltmore Estate.

We are in the Brevard Lumberyard Arts District , a beautifully progressive part of town. Within walking distance to everything , the loft is the perfect location when visiting Brevard. The loft on the second floor of our newly built home is all yours. Plenty of windows and natural light greet you on entrance. A good size kitchenette with all necessities but NO STOVE! Extra large bathroom with shower and 5 1/2 ft claw foot tub. A reading nook with day bed. Off street parking. Private entrance.

The space
Our loft has just been recently finished out.Our kitchenette is custom crafted with salvaged wood from a cottage we restored on the Georgia coast.Although no stove for cooking we have everything else to offer in this roomy kitchenette.....the main space is a good size and cozy and offers a mission style queen bed with Tempur-pedic mattress and new luxury linens and covers....a 1960’s drafting table with original iron mechanisms serves as table for eating or working .The numerous windows throughout allow for great cross breezes in the spring summer and fall to catch the cool mountain air and cast a lovely light.The little reading nook allows for an area to kick back and read,work or nap in a bit of privacy.Also if 2 friends are staying it allows for one to sleep here(might have to flip a coin!).The upstairs is energy efficient so as to hold heat and air beautifully.We haven’t had to utilize the air conditioner but maybe a few weeks over the summer months.Windows always open at night with good ceiling fan make for pleasant sleeping! Welcome to the mountains!Two closets and one with chest of drawers.The bathroom is quite luxurious and large...all unique pieces.The counter is a vintage sideboard with 2 sinks and 2 large handmade old cypress wood mirrors made locally by artisan here in the Lumberyard Joey Bastings.Large 5 1/2 ft claw foot tub for those long hot soaks you may dream of while coming down off the mountain and includes the standard claw foot tub shower.Lots of fresh cotton towels and toiletries.Please bring your personal toiletries if you have concerns,thank you!

Located in the heart of Brevard, this historic loft apartment is walking distance to art galleries, restaurants, shops, breweries, music and more. Situated in the center of town at Main and Broad, you will be steps away from all the charm Brevard has to offer.

The space
The loft is located on the second floor (elevator access available) of the historic Aethelwold building, circa 1901, once an old hotel that saw guests from around the country, including former presidents. Recent renovations of the Aethelwold have tranformed it from a once bustling hotel steeped in history to a vibrant mixed use space, housing permanent residents, renters and business professionals.

Inside the loft, you will find gorgeous wide plank hardwood floors, original exposed brick walls, a large, open river stone shower, earthy granite countertops, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath. We offer a comfortable king size bed and a queen size pull out that we would be happy to make up for you upon request.

Our charming apartment is nestled in the woods with a prime view of your own private 15 ft waterfall in the backyard. Enjoy peace & tranquility while reading a book on the hammock or warm up by the chiminea while watching the fireflies scatter about the woods.

The creek is approximately 3 ft deep at the bottom of the waterfall. The property is surrounded by State Forest.

If the apartment gets rented, the rest of the house is blocked from being rented so you will not be sharing ANY space.

The space
This secluded waterfall getaway, off the beaten path, is perched just above Lake Jocassee and the Gorges State Park. We are located between the quaint towns of Brevard and Lake Toxaway. Asheville is just under an hour from the property and the airport is within 45 minutes. Transylvania County, the Land of the Waterfalls, has numerous attractions within driving distance. So whether you’re looking to get away from the craziness of life or want to indulge in your favorite outdoor hobby, we have the place for you.
If your looking to get out and enjoy a hike or a bike ride, there are several options within driving distance. We are located 18 miles from Downtown Brevard, 22 miles from the opening of Pisgah Forest, 29 miles from several accesses in Dupont Forest and a short 5 miles from the Frozen Creek Access of Gorges State Park. There are also a few short, easy hiking trails in the neighborhood and a pond that can be used for recreational fishing.
There are several local breweries and restaurants located in Brevard if you are in search of a good brew or a meal to end your day. Two bakeries and several antique shops and art galleries fill the small Brevard Downtown area. Amazing food trucks are also spread throughout the area.
If seclusion is your goal, enjoy the solitude of relaxing by the fire overlooking the 15 foot waterfall on the property or sunning on the large back porch. We are located a good distance from town so nature is a plenty on this property, ranging from birds to the occasional bear sighting. The neighborhood is spacious with only 40 homes in over 1200 acres of wilderness.
The apartment is the bottom floor of the main house and there are no shared quarters. (We do rent out the whole house but NEVER at the same time. Once the apartment is booked, we block anyone from booking the rest of the home. The goal of renting the apartment alone is to give people that don’t have a large group, a cheaper rate). It is furnished with a cottage vibe but still has the necessary technology for you to keep in touch if you need to. Wi-fi and Smart Tv are provided (however, you are in the middle of nowhere so weather can affect their reliability). Our internet will typically support streaming and a couple phones or computer but it can get overloaded with a lot of devices and not be able to keep up. It helps to turn off WiFi for a device not in use. (Don’t forget to bring your logins for the Smart Tv).
It’s perfectly suited for a couple but 4 adults or two adults/2 children can fit comfortably, with a queen bed and two double couch beds. After several requests we have upped our max occupancy but it is tight with that many people.
Once you walk in the red front door, you will find a kitchen table for four, a desk to get any business done, a sleeper couch and a reclining chair.
The kitchen is fully stocked with tableware and things you may need for cooking. An air fryer and a grill are also available for your convenience. There is a limited supply of coffee, tea, minimal condiments, and other miscellaneous kitchen supplies. Keep in mind the nearest grocery store is a ways away so you may want to stock up before you get there.
The bedroom boasts a medium mattress queen bed and entry into the bathroom where you will find ample supply of towels and washcloths. The bathroom has a single entrance through the bedroom.
The living room has two couches which form two double beds using the ottomans. We also have a blow up mattress. We do supply full set of bedding for the queen bed, full set of bedding for the couch bed, and two sleeping bags.
During your stay you can expect to enjoy the backyard and waterfall all to yourself. However, if you need something, I am a phone call (if im not home) or a knock on the door away.

** You are in nature. There’s bugs, bees, snakes and even the occasional bear sighting. We obviously can’t control what you encounter outside. Just steer clear and enjoy watching from afar.

** There is a chiminea off the lower porch. You can find wood at the gas stations nearby. Please dont leave the fire unattended. This is the only place a fire is allowed.

** There are 4 Ring Cameras placed on the property in plain sight. All cameras are located OUTSIDE of the home. Devices record the first 15 seconds of movement and are not monitored. No camera views the inside of the residence.

**The fireplace in the living room does not work. There is no washer/dryer in the unit.

**The stairs down to the bottom of the waterfall are steep. Due to trout stream regulations we can not change the steps so they are made of natural material. Some may have difficulty getting all the way to the bottom.

**We allow one DOG. If you have a request for more than one dog, let us know. We are animal lovers and depending on the amount of people staying will allow more than 1. We unfortunately do not allow other animals. Also be aware, like any place there are animals, there may be dog poop in the yard. We do our best to clean it up but rely on owners to be responsible for their pets. Pets are free to use the woods or the grass area to go to the bathroom. We are surrounded by acres of woods. Pick your spot.

**Lighting outside is all solar. The lights may not be on due to weather.

**Please ensure 24 hour supervision of children.

**This is an apartment below a main residence. I do reside in the main residence (upper apartment) a couple nights a week. You will likely hear footsteps and the cats/dog playing. Typical noises of a home. There are no shared quarters.

**We do recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. It is not required, but a recommendation if you are not familiar with driving gravel mountain roads. (Please be aware that in inclement weather u may want to park on the gravel portion of the driveway and we strongly recommend you utilize 4wd during these times).
