For winter sports enthusiasts, we are only 15 minutes from Wolf Laurel ski resort. You’ll feel like you’re out in the country, but Asheville is only 20 minutes away. We are located in Madison county, “the jewel of the Blue Ridge”, featuring Marshall and Hot Springs. There is a restored 100 year old farmhouse next door, and a log cabin from the early 1800’s. . We are about 30 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, an hour from Mt. Mitchell, 5 minutes from Mars Hill College, 15 minutes from downtown Weaverville. Enjoy your own private entrance located on the bottom floor of our gorgeous, new home where you have your own parking space and lovely front porch. Walk just one block to all the restaurants, breweries and shopping Downtown Weaverville has to offer. We are just 9 miles from Asheville and an easy walk to Lake Louise, where you can sit and watch the ducks and geese, or enjoy a relaxing day. It's the perfect location for a relaxing vacation.

It's a quiet street in a peaceful, walkable neighborhood, just a few short blocks from Main Street. Weaverville is a lovely little town, only 10 minutes or so from Asheville but much calmer and quieter! The host, Lanise, is friendly and very prompt to reply and answer any questions. The property is a lower level apartment in her house, but there is no noise from above at all. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well! All in all, a fantastic stay and we hope very much to come back again!"

Private driveway/parking to lower level of home with private 2 bdrm, full bath apt - 2 queen bedrooms with keyed entrances, TV’s in each room, den with desk and futon (full-sleeps 1). (This is the only area that host has personal affects as this is a semi shared space. Host may access the hall to the den when guests are 'out n about' to use the laundry room).

Kitchenette provides mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric fry pan, toaster, coffee pot, coffee, tea, creamer, starter breakfast, oatmeal packets & snacks, mugs, dishes, cutlery, glasses (beverage and wine). there is an add'l mini fridge in Blue Rm closet for over flow convenience.

Laundry/utility room is available to wash dishes and do laundry if needed.

The patio is a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and soak in the mountain air in the hot tub. Deer come to side yard to feed at dusk. It is weather protected with hammock, table/chairs, cushioned chairs, Weber grill, fire pit and outdoor lighting. Side yard has a "chipping golf range" (wedges and limited balls provided).

We also have an Australian Shepherd-Callie. She is very friendly but does like to do her job by 'herding' visitors at times. A firm NO will send her scurrying, but please be sure to let us know if she is bothering you. She spends most of her time with us in our home upstairs. You also may be visited by one or more of our six chickens. They are free range during the day and like to come and visit periodically.

*We do allow 1 dog, 25 lbs or under, must be crated when not supervised and we ask that they not be permitted to be in or on beds/furniture.

Our home is an easy 20 min. to downtown Asheville, skiing at Wolf Laurel is 14 mi and 10 min to Weaverville with galleries, shops, bakery and restaurants. Also our area provides abundance of outdoor activities: beautiful hiking trails with water falls, views, rafting, zip lining to name a few.

The house is right around the corner (easy walking distance) from Lake Louise which has a playground, fishing access, and a walking path. It's an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Asheville. The Forest Studio at the Manor on Main provides the perfect combination of modern amenities and convenience with a touch of the past. Featuring a mix of antiques original to the Manor and contemporary furnishings, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom ground-level studio apartment offers a whirlpool tub/shower combination*, fireplace, kitchenette with microwave & coffee makers, and more, including high-speed internet and a large screen Roku TV with Spectrum's new streaming app, offering 250 live channels. As part of the the Manor on Main complex the Forest Studio is situated on a 3/4-acre picturesque lot boasting stately grounds with a beautiful herb and flower garden. The separate accommodations may be rented individually for an intimate getaway or together, for a larger gathering or special event.

* Please be aware that seniors or individuals with mobility issues may have difficulty using the whirlpool tub/shower combination in the Garden or Forest Studios, as the step over may be too high to safely negotiate. There are secure grab bars to assist in entering and exiting the tub, but you need to be aware that this situation may present a problem if you have mobility issues.

The entire property consists of a large main house, the Forest and Garden Studio suites with a breezeway, and the free-standing Mountain View Cottage near the back gardens. The entire property comfortably sleeps 16 people.

The Garden Studio at the Manor on Main provides the perfect combination of modern amenities and convenience with a touch of the past. This ground-level studio apartment offers a queen bed, bath with whirlpool tub/shower combination*, gas fireplace, kitchenette with microwave & coffee makers, and loads of natural light. Included is free Wi-Fi with high-speed internet and a large screen Roku TV complete with Spectrum's new streaming app offering up to 250 live channels!

*Please be aware that seniors or individuals with mobility issues may have difficulty using the whirlpool tub/shower combination in the Garden or Forest Studios, as the step over may be too high to safely negotiate. There are secure grab bars to assist in entering and exiting the tub, but you need to be aware that this situation may present a problem if you have mobility issues.

As part of the Manor on Main Street the Garden Studio is situated on a 3/4-acre picturesque lot boasting stately grounds with a beautiful herb and flower garden. The separate accommodations may be rented individually for an intimate getaway or together, for a larger gathering or special event.

The entire property consists of a large main house, a set of studio suites with a breezeway, and a free-standing cottage near the back gardens. The entire property comfortably sleeps 16 people.

- "This place is so quaint. I needed a place to stay to Wild Abundance where I was taking a 5 day woman’s only carpentry class. Well Bred was only 15 min away and walking distance into downtown where I picked up breakfast or dinner when I felt like it. I was the only one on the property and felt very safe even though it had a main house, another studio and a cottage. Their digital locks were awesome. The jet tub was help relax my back after the classes and the bed very comfortable. They had coffee and tea stocked up and it had a mini fridge freezer and a microwave! I especially loved the cookies and complimentary $10 gift certificate to their bakery! I will definitely stay again because it literally is only 15-20 min from Asheville! The host was very quick to respond to my questions!"

- "The Lower Peach was the ideal spot for our family who was visiting friends that live in Weaverville. The apartment had everything we needed and having the fenced in yard off the back was wonderful! Just opened the door and the dogs could run, play and do their business. The owners checked in on us to be sure that we were comfortable, since the weather was unseasonably cold while we were there. We’ll definitely use this location when we come to town with our dogs."

- "While the post states that there is a hot tub, the hot tub was not able to be used. However, overall, our experience was great. Kel is a great host, the place was very clean and it is obvious that the comfort of guests is highly considered! There were things i did not expect such as disposable razors and toothbrushes all individually wrapped as a sanitary precaution. Being a downstairs apartment type area there was some noise from upstairs, but nothing crazy. They were very considerate!! We had such a great time! I absolutely recommend staying here if you are needing somewhere in the Asheville, NC area!"
