Featuring a restaurant, the property also has pool with a view, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. The property features a children's playground and outdoor furniture. The spacious apartment is composed of 2 bedrooms, a living room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. Towels and bed linen are available in the apartment. While staying with us, here’s what you need to know to make the most of your trip:

• Ski Access Nearby: The building does not have a ski lift, but it is conveniently located right next to the slopes.

• Free Shuttle Service: A complimentary shuttle operates on demand, approximately every 30 minutes to nearby Sugar Ski. For schedule details, please check with the front desk.

• Ski Equipment Rentals: The ski equipment rental store has moved from inside the condo building to Sugar Mountain Resort. Guests can access this store via the free shuttle service. For more ski rentals and resort info, visit skisugar . com (no website links allowed).

• Parking Information: Parking is not assigned at check-in, and the upper-level parking near the building is reserved for homeowners. During the busy season, all guests will need to park in the lower-level lots and take the shuttle to the front entrance. The resort has five parking levels below the main building, offering plenty of space for all visitors.

• On-site parking is only available when the shuttle is not operating. If the shuttle service is running, all rental guests must park in the lower lot and use the shuttle to reach the building.

• Weather Advisory: During the winter months, snowfall can accumulate quickly, even after paths are cleared. If you're visiting in snowy conditions, we recommend utilizing the complimentary shuttle service for easier and safer commutes.

• Access Reminder: Please note that from December through January, 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) or AWD (All-Wheel Drive) vehicles are mandatory for accessing Grousemoor Road leading up to Sugartop. This requirement is enforced by the Sugar Mountain Police Department (SMPD). SMPD will be stationed at the bottom of Grousemoor Road and will issue tickets to vehicles that do not meet these requirements. Please ensure everyone in your group has a suitable vehicle for these months.

• Note: Sugar Top Resort does not feature ski-in/ski-out access. However, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offers this amenity if you're looking for direct slope access from accommodations.

There are also plenty of great dining options nearby, including the Banner Elk Cafe & Lodge, Stonewalls Restaurant, Bella's Neighborhood Italian Restaurant, and The Painted Fish Cafe & Beer Bar. Plus, with easy access to highways 105 and 184, getting around the area is a breeze.

For those without a car, the Avery County Transportation Services provide shuttle service to nearby towns and attractions. And with the Blue Ridge Parkway and Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline just a short drive away, there's always something new to discover.

* Guest Identity Verification: As part of our commitment to safety and security, we require the principal guest to complete our verification process, which includes signing an online rental agreement. Additionally, we require the principal guest to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID (such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport) during the booking process. If you are denied in this process, your reservation will not be honored, and subsequently, the reservation will be cancelled.

* Guest Registration Form: You will be asked to complete a guest registration form. This helps us ensure that your stay is personalized and tailored to your needs. It also aids us in providing assistance during your visit.

* Primary guest minimum age: The minimum rental age for the primary guest is 21.

* Security Deposit: Guest shall pay a security deposit of $200 (two hundred dollars) to cover any damages, excessive cleaning, or violation of House Rules or Terms and Conditions. We will process the refund to the original card, which may take up to 10 business days for the funds to be returned.
