- "This apartment is so cute and roomy. We loved how easy it was to walk to local bars, restaurants, and the Market. The downtown has so many things in walking distance, such as mural alley and a city park with sculptures. There were always enough people around that it felt safe to walk at night. The only downside - it’s noisy. It’s right next to the train tracks and the walls don’t seem to be well insulated. So maybe take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper."

This is a studio apartment that shares a roof with the main residence. It is separated from the main house by a breezeway that has spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains. You are welcome to explore the property's five acres (no bears!). It is located just 40 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, about an hour from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and just minutes from downtown Knoxville. It's a very easy 15 minute drive to Neyland Stadium. It's located on a cul-de-sac so there is minimal traffic.

I arrived well after midnight after a long day of traveling and moving my son into his dorm, and the place was clean, gently lit inside and out, and so inviting after my hectic day. I had messaged that I may be after midnight arriving so leaving lights on for me was very thoughtful. I stayed for a couple of days while shopping the area for a place to live and the location was convenient to everything, but tucked away in its own quiet space. Doug was easy and quick to communicate with. I highly recommend Toad Hill."

The space
This cozy little studio attic apartment is perfect for couples who want to be close to downtown, but still want the privacy of a small quiet neighborhood during their stay. The angled ceilings in this flat are finished with a beautiful shiplap design, adding to the unique feel of the space. Although this home is a duplex, both apartments include entrances that are completely private, so all areas mentioned will be just for you.
Sleeping arangements in the open bedroom area include a comfortable queen and twin bed with top quality bedding and linens to make you feel right at home. In the living room, a flat screen TV is ready to connect to any of your favorite personal streaming applications, providing entertainment for those who choose to spend an evening in.
The kitchen is equipped with a hot plate and a microwave for cooking all your meals. An oven is not currently available in this unit. Stainless steel appliances include a microwave, dishwasher and 2 mini-refrigerators. You'll also find all the cookware, utensils, flatware and dishes you need to prepare a meal start to finish. Our butcher-block island with bar seating for 2-3 can also serve as a work space, if needed.
Finally, the bathroom is equipped with a shower stall and is stocked with the necessary toiletries you'll need during your stay. The washer and dryer are located inside the back door just off the downstairs unit, in a separate shared space all their own. Welcome to a newly renovated stylish Condo in the heart of Knoxville, TN. You will be greeted with lots of natural light in this 1 Bedroom 1 Bath oasis.

We want our guests to know that they are not only staying in a renovated stylish Condo, but a clean one as well. That is why we take cleaning and sanitation very seriously. All bed sheets and linens will be washed after every stay as well as sanitizing all surfaces and commonly touched items. The entire building is exterminated every 2 weeks.
Imagine after a long day, waking up on a comfy memory foam mattress to those large panoramic windows. You grab your phone off of the built-in wireless charging night stand. You are scrolling through your feeds and listening to the news on the smart assistant speaker in the bedroom when you realize you need coffee. Although you don’t want to get out of bed, you muster enough energy to get to the Nespresso machine in the kitchen. There, you find an assortment of different signature full-bodied coffees. As you're making coffee, you put on a record or 2 (perhaps some Rod Stewart?) on the bluetooth enabled record player and enjoy the view from the living room. As the coffee is working its magic, you hear a work email come through the phone.
Since you're the "work from home" type, you grab your laptop and sit at the desk in the comfy work chair. You quickly get on our ultra fast high speed internet to get some work done when you realize you need to leave by a certain time. You notice that there is a smart assistant clock on the desk and ask it to set a reminder to leave in case you forget what time it is and don’t have enough time to shower.
After a long day, you come “home” and immediately lay down on the comfy blue chaise which fits 3 adults comfortably. You dim the living room light behind the couch to your perfect mood and you turn on the 55 inch Smart Roku TV. (There is free Peacock Premium TV along with Roku Live TV provided to you. All other streaming services will require your own account). You know there is something missing and realize that there is smart mood lighting behind the TV that can be turned on. Who doesn’t need more mood lighting? Although there is so much for you to do and explore in Knoxville, you can't seem to leave this amazing haven.
Fortunately for you, the kitchen is fully equipped to make a delicious meal yourself. The kitchen is equipped with all high end appliances as well as necessary cookware and utensils. You imagine eating a home cooked meal while listening to some good music and enjoying a nice view… “yes I think I will be staying in tonight”. Guests will be able to access the entire Condo.

Relax in our spacious 2 bedroom apartment with living room , full size kitchen, dining room for 6, full size laundry and three bathrooms, one upstairs one downstairs and one outside. Downstairs we have a king size bed in one room with a 43" smart tv . In the other bedroom have 3 twin size beds with plenty of usb standard and C ports for all your charging needs. There is also a large 3/4 bathroom complete with privacy stall and oversized shower. Wifi Speeds up to 1 gig and a 70" smart tv upstairs for all your streaming needs. We also have a large library of DVD's and VHS ( yes I said VHS) for your viewing pleasure. There is a swimming pool and grill area with outdoor table and restroom if you choose to enjoy the weather. Weather permitting, we offer an outdoor movie experience complete with a 37 ft screen, surround sound and 4 gas fire pits. Everything is freshly renovated, inside and out. Plenty of parking and covered parking for motorcycles, close to airport and less than 1 hour to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg , Tail of the dragon and many other tourist areas.
There are 4 outdoor cameras for your security and ours. One that covers the parking area, one that covers the pool, one that covers the pool and theater, one that covers the theater and fire pit area. These are not monitored but recorded if they need to be reviewed.
