Our guests say they feel like they are in a cabin in the woods. Newly renovated in the heart of Oak Ridge minutes away from ORNL, Y-12, Methodist Medical Center, restaurants and hiking trails. Our peaceful, apartment is equipped with a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig, and a walk-in closet. Relax or work on the deck or covered patio in the private, wooded back yard. Beautiful morning sunrise views greet you in winter. Summer offers a shaded hideaway. Private entrance with steps.

The space
The Wooded Getaway is a apartment in the downstairs part of our home with a private entrance, large windows with a wooded view. All new renovations with luxury vinyl tile, large walk in shower and kitchenette for coffee and snacks.

Guest access
You will have access to the large deck/porch and covered patio. There is a single parking space in the driveway for you use.

During your stay
We offer you total privacy but if you need us we are just a text away. One of us works from home about 60% of the time. You will see our Goldendoodle, Midge, in the side yard from time to time. She will not have access to your deck.

Other things to note
We previously had a home in upstate New York we had on Airbnb with a Super host status. We are just opening our Wooded Getaway in Oak Ridge and will have reviews on it soon.

Property is close to Methodist church. Walking distance from Melton lake, where you can rent bike, kayak, and other outdoor equipments. This is a 2 bedroom and 1.5 bathroom condo. Both entrance and private room require number passcode to enter to provide more privacy. Has big balcony and great view of the nature. Both both bedrooms and full bath are located upstair, and so are the washer and dryer.
