The mattresses are high-quality and very comfortable. I appreciated the wonderful soft cotton sheets. I usually find that microfiber sheets are the norm when I stay at other places. The towels are large, fluffy, and the water tastes, sweet and pure. The majority of the guesthouse is covered in windows that look out onto a serene, natural setting. The walls are decorated with beautiful quilts crafted by the owner. it is quite clear that this owner takes Guest comfort and happiness. very seriously. If I hadn’t known otherwise, I would have sworn I was the first to stay here. The check-in process was seamless and easy. The host is friendly, helpful , and was quick to assist when I was unable to use the electronic door code. The guesthouse sits a top a small mountain, the drive up is not difficult. Parking is a breeze on this property. There are only the two small porch steps and a short walk from your vehicle to the front door. This guest house is located in a convenient spot for those that might attend The John C Campbell Folk School. There is even a walking trail if you prefer not to drive to the camp. I recommend renting here!"

Murphy Lofts is the first of its kind downtown, located on the second level of a historic 126-year-old brick building. Private entrance, kitchen, and laundry facilities. It has all the charm of a small town and all the modern flair of a NYC artist's flat.
Everything you want is within walking distance; local shopping with handmade goods, small-town eateries, a bakery, a brewery, and bars. We have two rivers, the Murphy River Walk, and Konehete Park with pickle ball courts and a paved bike path.

The entire apartment is an open loft concept with a full kitchen and living area, five huge windows, and blackout curtains.

The brand new kitchen is fully stocked. We provide a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, as well as a drip coffee maker. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and pots and pans for those who want to cook. A set of plates, bowls, and cups are provided (these are my favorite and from my store- Black & White Market- which is on the main level of the building- so you better come see me!!!) Our mugs are made by a local potter.

We have a super cozy leather sofa bed (queen mattress), a side chair, and many plants (we have incredible natural light, so they are very happy). We also have a new 55" Smart TV.

The king bed is in an open space and has floor-to-ceiling curtains so you can make the area more private from the rest of the space. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft, with a PURPLE queen mattress and Sertapedic mattress topper. The sheets are 100% organic cotton. Everything is scrupulously clean.

The twin bed is located in an elevated loft area, accessed by a ladder. It is not a standing space, but there is plenty of room for kids to spread out and play. This space also has its own 32" Smart TV.

Murphy Lofts is the first of its kind downtown, located on the second level of a historic 126-year-old brick building. Private entrance, kitchen, and laundry facilities. It has all the charm of a small town and all the modern flair of a NYC artist's flat.
Everything you want is within walking distance; local shopping with handmade goods, small-town eateries, a bakery, a brewery, and bars. We have two rivers, the Murphy River Walk, and Konehete Park with pickleball courts and a paved bike path.

The space
The entire apartment is an open loft concept with a full kitchen and living area, five huge windows, and blackout curtains.

The brand new kitchen is fully stocked. We provide a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, as well as a drip coffee maker. (We also get you started with k-cups and creamer.) The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and pots and pans for those who want to cook. A set of plates, bowls, and cups are provided (these are my favorite and from my store- Black & White Market- which is on the main level of the building- so you better come see me!!!) Our mugs are made by a local potter.

We have a super cozy leather sofa bed (queen mattress), a side chair, and many plants (we have incredible natural light, so they are very happy). We also have a new 55" Smart TV.

The KING bed is in an open space and has floor-to-ceiling curtains so you can make the area more private from the rest of the space. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft, with a PURPLE queen mattress and Sertapedic mattress topper. The sheets are 100% organic cotton. Everything is scrupulously clean.

The twin bed is located in an elevated loft area, accessed by a ladder. It is not a standing space, but there is plenty of room for kids to spread out and play. This space also has its own 32" Smart TV.

There is an East and West loft, and the East is currently hosting long-term residents, who have two friendly and quiet dogs, Rox and Reese. They will not bother you. There is also a building cat, you may see her napping in the sun in one of the windows, but she will not go into your apartment.
Your apartment is the 'West' Apartment and will be on the left, clearly marked.
The entire space is yours, completely private, and you will have a unique code to access it.
All shared spaces are yours to explore and hang out in, like the cute little puzzle nook outside the apartments, where you'll be looking into a 100-year-old elevator shaft!

River Station Apartment is tucked into the heart of downtown Murphy, NC. With local restaurants and shops to explore all within walking distance from River Station. There is also a walking trail right beside the apartment as well as a park just down the street for a fun afternoon out!

River Station Apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a separate pull out couch in the living room area. It also includes a kitchenette with a stove, sink, and fridge. The one bathroom offers an amazing waterfall shower head for its guests to enjoy.
