Transition into the open concept kitchen equipped with full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cookware as well as appliances like a Keurig coffee maker. Please note there is NO oven. China and glassware complete the table whether you choose to eat indoors or dine al fresco. Put your external blazes to work with an outdoor grilling experience on a gas grill.

The bedroom features a king-sized luxury bed and is adjacent to a sitting/reading room. This space is the best of both worlds – the glass door provides the light to rise with the sun or pull the shades for your own private bear cave. This cozy space makes sleeping late almost too easy!

The terrace level porch is adjacent to Hideaway Haven’s fire pit. Gather around for an intimate night of warmth in one of the Adirondack chairs. Reminisce about the days’ activities, you will love spending a few hours basking in the glow of the flames and may even meet other Hideaway Havens' guests. For a tasty treat, be sure to partake in marshmallows, chocolate bars, and graham crackers provided to make some ooey gooey s’mores! Some like “camping”, others prefer “glamping” but the most discriminating tastes demand “Bearadise”.

The views from this retreat are magnificent in all seasons. Dahlonega, Helen, Sautée-Nacoochee (delightful gem) and Cleveland are all an easy short drive away. - "Quiet short drive to downtown Dahlongeda." - "This space was clean, open, and well appointed. The decor was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The listing does say there is only a microwave and fridge and the bathroom is on the ground level, and to be clear there is no running water in the upstairs. We throughly enjoyed the space and the property and its location; however, it might not suit us for a longer stay. We did enjoy having the automatic lights on the stairs to make it easier to go down to the bathroom during the night. Well priced. We will stay there again."

Eagles nest is located in the North Georgia mountains but only minutes from Dahlonega town center, wineries, appalachian trail, amicalola waterfalls, lakes and all sorts outdoor activities. Eagles nest is a secure gated community, parking area has 24 hr security camera, well-equipped kitchen, a furnished deck complete with a gas grill. You'll love waking up to peaceful pond and forest views. Please note there are stairs to navigate, but well worst the effort.

- "Nice, little cozy place to stay for a quick weekend getaway from the city. It does have a mini fridge, so don’t expect to take much food with you. The location isn’t far for many wonderful downtown restaurants either, so that was never a problem. The back porch/deck area was very nice and relaxing. If you’re an early morning person, you can watch the sunrise over the mountain and trees from there too. Very clean, and well kept place to stay!"

Welcome to Dahlonega! In this spacious walk-out basement apartment, you'll find everything you need to rest and unwind after a fun day of exploring our beautiful mountain town.

The basement apartment is part of our family home, with its own exterior entrance allowing guests privacy to come and go as they wish.

It is comprised of a single bedroom with a full, private bathroom (accessed through the bedroom), walk-in closet, sitting room, and rec room.

The basement apartment is part of our family home which is located within a mature neighborhood approximately 12 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.

Our family--four humans, two dogs--live upstairs with the walk-out basement being completely separate and exclusively reserved for guests.

1.) We are currently working on providing a separate driveway for guests along the side of our house; in the meantime, guests will be provided their own parking space at the top of our driveway and will need to walk across the front of the house (careful-- it's a sloped front yard) to access the basement apartment which is located to the right side.

2.) The basement apartment is part of our family home. While our family does our best in respect of our guests' privacy and desire for peace & quiet, we also appreciate guests' understanding if they happen to hear puppy footsteps coming from above on occasion.

You will love the feel of this modern, brand new space within the walls of a historic home. There is complimentary parking on-site for each suite. A short drive out of town takes you to North Georgia wine country as well as several options for hiking, kayaking, tubing and so many more outdoor activities. The suite features a mini fridge, Keurig coffee maker, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toiletries essentials. The suite offers complimentary wifi. This is one private room with an open bathroom. The outdoor space is shared with the suite next door.

Hidden Cove is located in a very quiet neighborhood just five minutes from downtown Dahlonega.

Our home is set in the woods and on the side of a ridge giving the feeling of a “tree house”.

From this location one can take a short drive north (20 min) and start your hike on the (AT) Appalachian Trail .
A one hour moderate hike brings you to “Preacher Rock” with a spectacular 180 degree view to the Southeast.
After your hike your going to be hungry so you need to head north another 10 minutes, down the mountain, to the sleepy town of Suches, to chow down at Two Wheels Only Campground and order one of the best burgers around.

If you are a wine buff you are in for a treat! North Georgia is famous for its superb Wines and Winery’s.

-Cavender Creek Vineyards - 10 minutes. Friday is locals night.

We have THREE rentals: Bearadise, Carriage House Hideout & Hummingbird Hollow. None of our rentals share a common wall.

BEARADISE is located on the lower level of the main cabin with its own dedicated parking and entrance. The level above it is unoccupied (It's our home when we are in town)

HUMMINGBIRD HOLLOW is located on the opposite side, main level of the cabin with its own dedicated parking and entrance. The level adjacent to Hummingbird Hollow is unoccupied.

CARRIAGE HOUSE HIDEOUT is in a separate building.

Our goal is to make your stay in Dahlonega much better than expected! This private and spacious 2 bedroom apartment is perfect for couples, families, and wedding groups! Located in the bathroom is a washer/dryer to make your stay more comfortable. There is a full kitchen as well as many of the comforts of home. We cater to larger families and couples who love to stay here for space & privacy! Each room has a television. The living room and bedrooms are equipped with Roku and flat-screen TVs. The living room has a cabinet with family-friendly games, toys, & decks of cards. There is plenty of seating in the living room with the sectional couch and the dining table that seats 4. Families with babies will also find a Pack & Play, baby bath, bouncy seat, and a high chair in the master closet. The backyard is spacious and has a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a dining table & a grill. Although very private, anything you need is just a text or call away. Although you may see us on the property walking our small dogs throughout the day. While they are friendly, we do keep them on a leash or inside fenced area while outside. There is one security camera located outside the apartment located under the overhang. The camera is on at all times for the safety of the guests and the host alike. The main home has exterior cameras facing the yard, driveways, and door of the main home. Tampering of any kind with the camera will be cause for immediate cancellation of the reservation. Pets welcomed. Guest must disclose pet info & pay pet fees prior to check-in. The pet fee amount depends on the number/size of pets.

Very private 2 bedroom apartment, which includes a bathroom, laundry area, fully equipped kitchen with dining area and living room. The space has a private entry and its own driveway that is just steps from the private entrance. The guest side of the driveway can easily fit 4 cars in a row. Extra driveway space is available if needed upon request. The apartment is completely closed off from the main house. The only thing that connects the 2 units is a small foyer that is locked off from our part of the house, so that space is yours too! If there was ever a need, we might use the foyer space to hand off whatever is requested. This allows for privacy. We do live in the main home, so we can be quick to respond if there is a need. However, our guests feel like they are the only ones there because we give them plenty of privacy. The backyard can be exclusive space for guests upon request. You may see us walking around the property at times. However, you are welcome to hang out, build a fire in the pit, grill out, and use the outdoor dining table. If you want privacy when using the space, please ask, and we will be happy to leave it all to you! Let us know what we can do to ensure your stay is MUCH better than expected. We want to make sure you feel our top-notch hospitality has provided you with an experience above and beyond your expectations and worthy of a 5-star review.

Other things to note
We ask that you treat our home as if it were yours. Short stays do not include cleaning fee, however, we ask you to please leave the home cleaned up and in order. Out of respect for our neighbors and our children, we request that noise be limited after 11 pm. Please report any issues with the home that you may find so that we can resolve them in a timely manner. Please note that we have 2 WiFi networks that are used exclusively for TanAirbnb. Windstream, our internet service provider, is the only provider available in Dahlonega, and it is typically fast with rare exceptions of bad weather or storms.
