“This is the south”. Though we treat for pest our home is over 60 years old. The yard will have mosquitos, small spiders and sometimes small lizards! You may see a palmetto bug. I hate them and you will hate them! But this is a “south” issue and not a cleanliness one! We clean and sanitize after each guest!!

To ensure a peaceful environment for everyone, we observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 9 AM and kindly ask all guests to be considerate of one another.

🚗 Driveway, and Road: The road and driveway are narrow and steep in places. Please drive carefully and be mindful of the gravel road, the parking area around the home is paved. You are responsible for your vehicle and any potential damage to it or the landscaping.

🚜 Construction Nearby: There is a home being built nearby, so you may hear some construction noise during work hours. It shouldn’t affect your view or stay, but we wanted you to be aware. This has now moved inside now, and most noise should be over. The nearby project will be completed by the end of October 2025.

🛏️ Occupancy and Fees: This modern home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, ideally including children. An additional $10 per person (including kids) will be charged for guests beyond 4. There are is a pac-n-plays in the walk-in closet, but these are only for smaller kids.

🏊🏼‍♂️Hot Tub: the technician visits on Monday and Friday mornings to monitor and maintain the Spa. He will access the back driveway, handle hot tub care, and have no need to enter the home.

🚗 Parking, Driveway, and Road: The road and driveway are narrow and steep in places. Please drive carefully and be mindful of the gravel road, the parking area around the home is paved. You are responsible for your vehicle and any potential damage to it or the landscaping.

🚜 Construction Nearby: There is a home being built nearby, so you may hear some construction noise during work hours. It shouldn’t affect your view or stay, but we wanted you to be aware. This has now moved inside now, and most noise should be over. The nearby project will be completed by the end of October 2025.

🛏️ Occupancy and Fees: This modern home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, ideally including children. An additional $10 per person (including kids) will be charged for guests beyond 4. There are is a pac-n-plays in the walk-in closet, but these are only for smaller kids.

🔐Bedroom Locks: For the safety and convenience of our guests, we have intentionally chosen not to install locks on bedroom or bathroom doors. In the past, we've encountered situations in other homes where children inadvertently locked doors, requiring our immediate assistance. By designing our home this way, we aim to prevent any inconveniences and ensure a seamless experience for all our guests.

🅿️ Parking: Limited to 3 regular-sized cars or less with any oversized vehicles. Parking is located above, in the parking lane around the back of the house. You then walk across the middle floor porch, up the stairs to your top unit's porch and front door. There is ample space to drive and park, but caution is essential. Make sure to park in the correct designated lanes based on the unit you are renting.

❄️ A/C & Heat: The thermostat is programmed to reset automatically at 10 AM and 5 PM daily, ensuring efficiency when the home is unoccupied. Feel free to adjust the temperature to your comfort when home.

To keep the property/neighborhood clean and tidy, please pick up after your dog(s) with provided waste bags. We ask that dogs are kept off furniture.

- "My fiancé and I came for a Thursday–Sunday trip to plan/finalize our upcoming wedding at Cloudland Canyon. You would think our outings, cake tasting, reception planning would be more stressful than our stay—instead were the highlight of our trip, the stay itself was underwhelming.We were disappointed to find construction on the property with no prior notice. Instead of peaceful mountain views, we had an excavator outside our window and patio. The hot tub, one of the main reasons we booked this place, lacked privacy and felt exposed right next to the neighbors’ parking area/ entrance. Inside, was nice and mostly clean, though I did find leftover confetti by the nightstand. The thermostat wouldn’t go below 70, making it hard to sleep comfortably in the warmer master bedroom.The biggest issue was noise. We were placed between two loud families, and the soundproofing is basically nonexistent. We had to contact the host twice during our stay due to noise during “quiet hours”.This place may work for larger groups, but as a couple looking for a quiet, relaxing stay—it missed the mark. Your experience here really depends on your neighbors."
