- "Enjoyed staying at this lovely property immensely! Close and convenient to the picturesque towns of Clayton and Dillard where you can find nice shops and restaurants. We visited the Georgia Mountain Fair in Hiawassee, which was also a short drive. Watched the sunset at Sky Valley overlook and saw Mud Creeks Falls just a short walk from the overlook. We ate a delicious lunch at Dillard House and a great dinner at Blue Canoe on Lake Burton. 12 Spies Vineyard is just a short drive away, so we visited there on Saturday and enjoyed some delicious wine and great music. Beautiful views too! So much to see and do in this area. The Osage Farmer’s Market is a must stop - beautiful heirloom tomatoes, peaches, vegetables, you name it, they have it! Beds in the cabin were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed when we decided to stay home and grill out. The weather was PERFECT during our stay and we enjoyed a night or two with a fire in the fire pit. Spent mornings drinking coffee on the back deck watching the ducks and geese in the lake, and evenings listening to the serenades of the katydids, frogs, and cicadas. So relaxing! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!"

Perched near the peak of Screamer Mountain, located approximately 5 minutes’ drive from the town of Clayton, GA, Charming Cabin overlooks the valley that lies between Screamer Mountain and Black Rock Mountain. This cabin is fully furnished and available for a minimum 30-day rental.
The setting on the mountain affords views of Black Rock Mountain and seasonal views of the town of Clayton. This cabin is a wonderful place to relax or reconnect with friends and family. Sitting on the screened porch feels as if you are perched in the trees, you can relax to the sounds of the breeze and the songs of birds and as the day progresses to evening and night-time the sounds become that of tree frogs and crickets. Someone commented once that "it feels like we are sitting in the trees and are looking down at the squirrels!" The proximity to downtown Clayton, restaurants, grocery store, shopping, and nearby activities makes Charming Cabin a convenient place to stay as well as a home base from which to explore other areas of N. GA, or venture into NC or SC. Living room, dining room and kitchen are an open floor plan with comfortable spaces for relaxing, dining and cooking up a great meal. Large screen TV with netflix, amazon and hulu as well as DVDs galore - plus a record player with plenty of vintage vinyl. Lots of puzzles, books and games are in the dining room and of course fast Wifi.
Kitchen is equipped with new appliances and all the plates, cookware and accessories you could need including Nespresso machine for lattes and espressos. Plenty of pantry space if you plan a long vacation. No dishwasher, but double sink makes dishwashing easy, not to mention the great view of the private back yard from the sink.
Rear bedroom has two comfortable twin beds with memory foam mattresses. Front bedroom has new king bed with memory foam. Both bedrooms have dressers and large closets.
Bathroom has shower tub combo, single vanity and new commode.
Front porch is screened with space for dining or relaxing. Views of front yard filled with azaleas and greenery. Rear yard is accessible from dining room. Lots of space to explore, watch for deer or listen to woodpeckers. Set up your hammock and find the perfect resting place.

Outside you will find 8 acres to roam, a two person hot tub, grill (charcoal), fire pit, and a small waterfall with a porch.

The tiny house is on our lil farm property by the creek. It is conveniently located right off Highway 76 West and surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. Simplify and come see what nature has to offer. Note: this is a tiny house not a presidential suite and it can get a little cozy! Also, the tiny house is located on our property and there is another tiny house on site that we rent. This site is located at the back and more private. The house has a great screened in porch and another outdoor space for dining. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean. We cooked quite a bit and everything we needed was there, including the condiments in the refrigerator, coffee, tea and spices that were greatly appreciated. Communication was excellent. I would definitely rent this place again."

HIKING & WATERFALLS are close by at Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge & Appalachian Trail. All less than 30 minutes from the cabin. Beautiful lakes Rabun & Burton, excellent for boating! FAST INTERNET SPEED & CABLE TV. No mountain driving to get to this "PET FRIENDLY" gem!

This is a one-bedroom cabin with a king bed. It's decorated with a touch of Christmas, including a Little Red Truck Christmas tree. There's a Blackstone for grilling on the porch, a gas stove in the kitchen, but no dishwasher. Our cabin offers Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling works in and around the cabin. However, please note that there is NO TRADITIONAL CELL SERVICE, and Wi-Fi coverage does not extend across the entire 3-acre property. We recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling on your phone before arrival to stay connected. Enjoy the daybed on the back porch that swings over the creek and the firepit. Let the furry family members run free on the 3+ acres and take a dip in the creek! We do require a $50 pet fee (Additional fee of $25/extra pet fee is billed separately) Just add them to the guest list when you are booking and the charge will apply. Other things to note: The owners have their personal travel trailer and RV stored on the property. The owners visit the property every three weeks to mow the grass, which takes a couple hours. You will be notified a couple days in advance if you are visiting during this time.

*Black Diamond Road is a narrow farm road, and the cabin driveway is about 100 yards from the Warwoman Road turn off. There are 2 "pull outs", one on the right about 50 yards from Warwoman Road and another on the left about 10 yards from the cabin driveway. If you encounter oncoming traffic, please use one of the pull outs, or back up as necessary to allow heavier equipment to pass. Thank you.

- "I absolutley loved my stay at the Culver Christmas Cabin for the month of July! I didn't want to go home! The cabin was super clean, owners were very accommodating to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The 3 Acre property is very peaceful and I loved the two screened in areas and the covered deck were the Creek ran by and you can hear the water running past, birds chirping, cows out in the pasture so relaxing. The early Morning Mountian view out to the North was so special, Misty cloud covered Mountains with the Barn and pasture in the back ground. I used the Blackstone grill many times to grill Steaks and Potatoes, Salmon, BBQ Chicken, Burgers and fresh veggies from the Produce barns from a nearby town, then sat at the Picnic Table eating Supper watching the Deer come out of the woods to feed in the Pasture. My dog loved running and laying out in the sun all over the acres and walking in the Creek. This place is definatly an A+ stay. It was a perfect get away for me and my dog from the Savannah Low Country to the Mountains High Country! Oh, also, the drive to get here was super easy, no scary mountain roads, just a few S turns on wide paved roads to the house, super easy and Safe."

Tanya was very prompt in responding to my msgs before and during our stay. She was also very accommodating. The decor is what I'd call farmhouse/cottage. Tastefully decorated. Plenty of room. Very clean and well equipped. Love the air fryer oven. Best bacon I've ever cooked. My teenage grands enjoyed the bunkbeds. Power was out for couple hours late one afternoon, but we found deck of cards along with other games. You may encounter another resident on the property...General Beauregard, the ground hog.😄 His hole is near the firepit. The front porch is a nice place to sit for some quiet time in the evening. Having such a nice place to call home away from home made our vacay in Clayton that much more enjoyable. I work in Clayton every couple of years. I will def be booking this cottage for my business trips to Clayton."

Clayton Georgia is a mountain town in far NE GA at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, about 8 miles from NC & 8 miles from SC. Hollywood likes to come and create movies here, including Disney and Ron Howard, because of the county's unique beauty. We have three large lakes and a National Forest filled with waterfalls and trails... only 10 miles from the Appalachian trial. Its a hiker's paradise!

The proximity to resources combined with isolated privacy is unmatched. The cabin has everything that you need to enjoy the wonders of nature in the mountains. We watched vibrant shooting stars at night on the deck next to a warm fire. After a lovely rest on a perfect mattress, we opened our eyes to the sun emerging between the mountain tops and watched the morning rays of sunshine illuminate the mists of clouds in the valleys with a dazzling sparkle. RENTAL DETAILS AND LOCATION;
Our property is located less than half a mile from downtown Clayton where there are lots of bars and restaurants, breweries and shopping. The roughly 2150 square foot air conditioned and heated home has a lower level unit and an upper level unit. The two units are totally separate and there are no shared spaces - similar to a two family house. You are renting the UPPER UNIT which is about 1300 square feet and comes with it's own private exterior hot tub for your use only. It was totally renovated and has a comfortable and stylish vibe with a mix of Georgia country. Full size kitchen, stainless appliances and fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The living the room and a gas fireplace is open to the kitchen, separate dining room with faux fireplace, two bedrooms with queen beds a full bath and washer and dryer. There are two separate deck areas and one comes with a gas grill. We have excellent Wi-Fi which of course is FREE to access along with a large 50" LG Smart TV equipped with over 300 channels. The property has a few lovely outdoor sitting areas both covered and open along with a fire pit. We have lots of photos with very detailed listing descriptions to help you learn more about our house and the surrounding areas.

OPTION FOR 8 GUESTS AND OTHER PROPERTIES;
The upper unit sleeps 4 people and so does the lower unit so if you wish to book both the upper and lower units to fit 8 people just let us know and we can assist.

- "This home is maintained and presented beautifully. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their home, and it is equipped with everything you could need for a break away. The owners treat their guests with respect and are available if needed via text / call. We had no issues but did send updates about our arrival and departure and they responded within minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the perfect relaxing break we needed from the Florida July heat We were able to use the facilities of the Kingwood Resort (the driveway is opposite the driveway of the Overlook community) and took advantage of the gym, the indoor pool and the nature trail, which was a bonus The nearby small town of Clayton is also lovely, and the Clayton Cafe is wonderful - great local food and wonderful staff FYI - the home is built into the mountain on a sloping road, so there are 30 steps to climb from the parking area to the front porch, but we are 70 and managed them with no issue Many thanks to Lori and Michelle for the time we spent there"

What my "vacation rental" home dreams are made of. Even more beautiful than the pictures. Every single detail has been carefully thought of. Decor looked like it was straight out of a magazine. The grounds are right out of a fairytale. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms beautiful. Felt like an individual oasis. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. So close to downtown Clayton with shops and restaurants, but also private with the extra outdoor deck space and firepits. Property was so fun for our kids to run around in. They played in the meandering creek and picked daffodils. Wonderful, responsive hosts! House is everything that is pictured to be and so much more!

Three guest suites and additional sleeping space for 4 in the great room guarantees your group restful nights. Each sleeping area has fans, additional blankets, and other creature comforts.

BEDROOM #1 - Main Level
Sink into the lavish king-size bed and drift off into peaceful slumber. The private en-suite comes complete with dual vanities and gorgeous oversized walk-in shower. Full size washer and dryer in laundry closet off the master.

BEDROOM #2- Main Level
Equally cozy and beautiful second guest suite also features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and a tub/shower combo.

BEDROOM #3 - Upper Level
Head upstairs to find a loft style bedroom. Three twin beds make an ideal spot for kids to have sleepovers, or they can be converted into a king-size bed and one twin to sleep a couple or family. *We will leave details on how you can convert twins to a king bed.

Also upstairs is a queen-size luxury sofa sleeper sofa brings sleeping spaces up to 5 guests. “The Shift Sleeper Sofa by Burrow is made up of two mattresses stacked on top of each other, which makes sitting — and sleeping incredibly comfortable. (CNN)”

There’s also a TV with a game console, just in case the kids forget to bring their own. This bedroom has access to a half bathroom with a toilet and sink. * This space has a classic pitched ceiling. Ducking will be required for taller guests.*

With the flip of a cushion, two luxury leather sectional couches on the first floor convert to twin sleeping areas, providing ultra-comfy slumber for four more guests. Added luxe memory foam mattress provide ultimate comfort.

Two other half baths. One in the main house hallway and another in downstairs basement, perfectly placed for use while spending time outside.

The modern, sleek, open-plan kitchen is every cook’s dream and is extremely well-equipped. Outfitted with all the cookware, utensils and appliances you will need. A large refrigerator and ample pantry space give you enough room to stock up on groceries, and oversized countertops provide plenty of space for meal prep.

- "This cabin is perfect for two families! It has 2 master suites and a loft with bedding for 4 children! It sits on a beautiful property with a creek that the kids loved to explore! The front lawn is huge, great for kickball, and all sorts of yard games! The Hot tub/lap pool is an added bonus!!! Everything is new and clean and they had everything you needed for your stay! The hosts are phenomenal and prompt! The cabin is within walking distance to downtown Clayton which has amazing restaurants and shops! It was a great weekend all around!!!"
