Rocky Knob Cabin is a log cabin overlooking beautiful Brasstown Valley in Young Harris, Georgia. Located on the mountain above Brasstown Valley Resort, Rocky Knob Cabin offers a lovely mountain-top view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in fall and winter with beautiful sunsets, and in the fall and winter, 180 degree panoramic views. It is cozy with all amenities for a relaxing stay. All roads leading to the cabin, including the driveway, are fully paved and in good condition. NOTE: the driveway is a little narrower than some and would not be able to accommodate a dually pickup truck or an extremely large vehicle. We have a Ford F250 that we take at times, and once you get used to navigating, it's not a problem. It is a little steep as many driveways are in the mountains. NOTE: We provide the lock box key code 3 days before your arrival as we change the code between guests. ALSO, we strongly advise that guests have a hard copy of our map or have it available on their phone during the first time up the mountain as the road signs and turns can be a little confusing.

The cabin easily accommodates four people in it's two bedrooms, two baths, living and dining area and it's fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, and the guest bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have on suite baths. There is a new flat screen TV in the living area and Netflix available to our guests.

There is a gas grill on the wrap around deck along with a bar height dining table/chairs with umbrella. Coffee is provided for our guests, and the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with everything you need to make a wonderful meal at home. The cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi, and the Wi-FI password and other important phone numbers are in the blue binder by the microwave. Washer and dryer are available for guests' use during their stay and detergent/bleach is provided.

Beautiful Lake Chatuge and The Georgia Mountain Fairground are about 3 miles from the cabin. It is conveniently and centrally located for day trips to Blue Ridge, Franklin, Murphy, Bryson City, Blairsville, Hayesville, Helen, Brasstown Bald, Dahlonega and close to many hiking locations, wineries, boating and shopping.

A floor-to-ceiling stacked rock fireplace in the living room welcomes weary travelers to relax and unwind while enjoying the mountain and meadow views from this quiet cabin in the Northeast Georgia Blue Ridge mountains. Walls of tongue-in-groove knotty pine give warmth to the main rooms, which are accented with maple floors.

Built in 2005, this cabin features two over-sized bedrooms and an extra loft which sleeps two. A full acre of natural woods habitat next to the cabin provides natural privacy to the outdoor hot tub and has been enhanced with native landscaping and feeders to attract lots of birds and butterflies. Deer and wild turkey are often spotted strolling through the property.

A delightful home with history and a noisy trout stream just outside your door! This two bedroom, three and a half bath home holds 2 bedrooms with king size beds plus a futon in the loft as well as a jetted tub in the master suite and a hot tub for four on the back deck. With three porches - two of them overlooking Brasstown Creek - there are plenty of places outside to enjoy the views and mountain air.

You will find rocking chairs and porch swings on two of the porches along with additional seating by a chimney and stone fire pit near the creek. While outside, be sure to notice the old stagecoach road that runs through the property near the creek. This road runs from Young Harris to Murphy, North Carolina and was packed so tightly, no trees grow on this old road.

House is a little much for just the two of us we never even went to the 3rd floor but we wanted a king bed. The home did not disappoint. The cabin is close to Lake Chatuge. The basement is great for entertaining. The large one room basement has the pool table, bar area, and a seating area around the electric fireplace and 70 inch TV. There are also several outdoor seating areas to relax and take in the views.

The drive to the house is along a mountainside and is fully paved. It can be a tight squeeze when passing cars in the opposite direction.

Beautiful views year round! Convenient location to Young Harris, Hiawassee and Hayesville. This pet friendly place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit: from The Ridges Resort and Marina, Bell Mountain, Brasstown Bald, Brasstown Valley Resort and Golf, shopping and restaurants. Spend the day hiking or at the lake. Bring your boat or water equipment or use the paddle board or kayak onsite. Deck, BBQ, firepit, board games and ample backyard. Our two bedroom two and a half bathroom lake house is a decorated with a balance of farmhouse and industrial vibes with concrete floors and wooden panels throughout.

As you enter thru the red door, you will see farmhouse doors to your left off the foyer with access to the laundry room with new washer and dryer and a half bathroom. To your right there is an opening to the fully stocked kitchen.

As you move forward, the ample living room will greet you with a sectional sofa sleeper where you can relax and watch movies and shows from the smart TV.

Another opening will take you back to the kitchen thru the dining table which sits up to six. There is also a desk that can be used as a workspace.

The Master on main features a Queen bed, two separate closets, en-suite full bath with walk in shower and old fashion tub. Nightstands have plenty outlets to charge all your devices. The second bedroom is located upstairs with en-suite full bathroom.

As you drive onto our property and see the amazing view that will be yours during your stay, you'll think you entered paradise! Our cozy 2 bedroom cottage is situated on 24 acres of beautiful pasture at the end of a gravel road. Your view from the front porch is Brasstown Bald Mountain, the tallest mountain in Georgia. Our cottage is spacious and nicely decorated with beautiful furniture and prints on the wall giving you the feel of someone's personal home. Our bedrooms are spacious and the queen size beds are very comfortable. The queen size sleeper sofa has a gel mattress so you will sleep just as well as on a regular bed! The porch is where we often find our guests, lounging on the comfortable love seat or chairs, drinking their morning coffee and taking in the spectacular mountain views with the occasional deer grazing on the grounds. To the right of the cottage is our wedding venue and we welcome you to use the lighted pavilion, fire pit and picnic tables while you stay, we just ask that you leave it the way you found it for the nest guests to enjoy. While we have only opened our cottages up to guests other than our wedding parties this past year, we are already seeing repeat customers. We are centrally located to so many great attractions and activities making our home away from home a place you will come back to again and again.

The space

The cabin’s open floor plan includes a fully-equipped kitchen, 2-bedrooms, a living room with HD TV and an adjacent dining room. Enjoy the indoor hot tub attached to the living area with 180 degrees of windows with seasonal mountain and nature views. Just off the cabin’s living room, access the large firepit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of quiet.

In the summer months you will feel secluded by the surrounding trees. In the winter months you will wake up cozy in clean sheets and comfortable pillows.

This beautiful A-Frame cabin in the wood's primary bedroom features a walkout deck with views of the surrounding area. The A-Frame also has recently been renovated with a new paint job and appliance upgrades.

Also only a few miles away you'll find Nottely lake where you can rent a boat for a day or hit some balls at the Old Union Golf Course. While you're at it check out the local farmers market or Odoms Springs Vineyards to pick up a bottle to enjoy back at the cabin.

Our homes offers all the comforts of home with panoramic views of Lake Chatuge and the mountains of Hiawassee, Ga as well as the North Carolina mountain range to the north. The scenery changes every hour as the sun rises and sets. The home has a king bed in the master and queen at the opposite end of home. A large stone Fireplace with an open floor plan so all can enjoy being together. This is the main level of the home for smaller parties to use, the lower level offers 2 more bedrooms and another full bath plus a workspace when needed. This is a quaint town that has numerous private owned restaurants and shopping, it is really in Hiawassee. You are only minutes away from Blairsville Ga, Helen Ga, Hayesville NC, Murphy NC, and Franklin NC. Too many waterfalls and hiking trails to mention but we have a map on a wall that shows all the parks and waterfall locations. Come enjoy our relaxing place and feel the peace it offers.

The cabin is so beautiful and we loved the sleek modern design. It was isolated enough to really disconnect while having the comfort of knowing the property manager was nearby and local amenities if needed. We loved having access to the pool & gym which was a short walk, and the cabin was equipped with all the kitchen and appliances we needed. I typically bring items that are normally not provided in rentals and found that the only item I utilized was my large stovetop pan. The bed was very comfortable and we were surprised that the space never felt crowded (my first experience with a tiny house). We had 2 adults and 2 small dogs. One perk was the star-gazing, it was stunning and the mountain views from the property has us taking photos non-stop. Highly recommend for couples or singles looking to totally disconnect, or work from the mountains. The high speed wifi worked great and the TV was linked to streaming services. The property manager was always quick to respond to any questions we had and gave suggestions on local spots to check out. We are already looking at the next dates we can get away and considering booking this location every few months for the rest of the year."
