Prior to the full description of this cabin, we want our future guests to know that we are taking extra precautions! Our EXCELLENT cleaner spend 3-4+ hours between guests, during which time they allow fresh air to penetrate the space. They do an extra wipe down and sanitize all touchable surfaces and sprays disinfectant on anything she can't deep clean, such as upholstered furniture, decorative pillows, etc. so the cabin is fully sanitized upon your arrival.

A true retreat, this renovated (2015 & 2022) rustic cabin sits upon a scenic hillside with beautiful views of the neighboring mountains and the Toccoa River. The magnificent mountain pine log covered deck is perfect for a relaxing evening in a rocking chair, or in the hot tub taking in the majestic scenery of the North Georgia mountains. The three acre property also includes a private dock with direct access to the river and a one acre riverside meadow, perfect for picnicking. Upon entering the cabin, you are greeted by a western motif entryway and dining area with a pass-through to the kitchen. The artwork features a passion for an equestrian lifestyle in the mountains, in calming blues and greens, accented by unique mountain décor. The main living area features new furniture (2022) - a plush couch , a big comfy lounge chair with a leather topped ottoman and luxurious throw pillows, - TV with cable, including the sports channels, and a DVD player. For cooler seasons, there’s a real wood burning stove, perfect for curling up to for a romantic evening, or just exchanging fishing stories from your day on the river. The adjacent kitchen features a granite countertop, beautiful natural hickory cabinetry, Keurig coffee maker, and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. A full sized laundry room provides all of the convenience and comforts of home. The landscaped back yard comes complete with a gas grill and picnic table.

The main bath boasts a one of a kind barn board tub and shower. Rustic cabinets, granite countertop, pewter finish faucets, and rough sawn wood trim finish off this equestrian country bathroom. The Master bedroom features a luxurious high headboard bed with a pillowtop, Gatsby mattress. The suite includes a large closet and an additional half bath. We raised the ceiling, added some rustic trim and a little bling for an enhanced romantic vibe. New Smart TV and new linens package rounds out our new bedroom!(2022)

The lower Toccoa River has earned a reputation among anglers as one of the best trout rivers in north Georgia...It's long, deep pools separated by rocky shoals make the flow perfect for both trout fishing and floating. Due to its relatively large size, it is a favored water for fly-fishing enthusiasts, and in 2015 it was designated by the DNR as a year round trout river. It is stocked weekly from April through July 4th, and twice monthly thereafter. You’ll be pulling out mostly rainbow trout, but there are also large numbers of brown trout and a small population of brook trout.

Area activities include fishing, tubing, kayaking, trail rides, Harrah’s Valley River Casino, hiking, bird watching, fall leaf viewing, fine dining, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, and zip lining. All within approximately 30 minutes or less.

The space
The mountain views are spectacular from every level with several ridges to the Cohutta Mountain range. The kitchen is well appointed and ready for your feast. A rustic atmosphere but comforts never cease.

What’s provided on site for your stay: Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 2-hand towels, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, hangers, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, Roku TV, high speed internet, propane gas grill and a charcoal grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, liquid hand soap dispenser in each bath and kitchen, liquid shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each shower, dishwasher detergent, dish washing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Our cabin also includes more than the basic list of inventory items for the kitchen. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

I also want to let you know that we tend to have lady bugs/ Asian lady beetles visit our cabin. We take a number of steps to minimize impacts and thoroughly clean before your arrival, however this is an unpredictable part of nature in this area and you may find a few who work their way into the cabin. They are harmless and there is a vacuum or broom available if needed, we apologize in advance should this occur.

The roads to Spruce Circle are paved all the way to the Cabin. The reason why this home has spectacular views is because it has an elevation of 2300+ feet. To get to that height will mean there are some steep inclines, all car types can easily access the property (4x4 is not necessary).

Keys: Our Cabin is a smart house! We use remote management software to control access to the home. A push button combination for the door will be supplied to you prior to your arrival for use during your stay. Your assigned combination will not work prior to check-in time and expires after checkout time. Please make travel arrangements to arrive and leave within your stay window.

Simply reposition the cushioned seating set to your liking to enjoy some nighttime movies, shows, and sports from the projector-style movie theater fully equipped with the same *complimentary* access to Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ offered on our indoor TVs.

FULL DECK
The fully outdoor half of our deck offers a sprawling space with a hot tub, outdoor dining set, propane grill, and plenty of clear space for stargazing sunbathing, or simply taking in views of nature with the binoculars or the naked eye! There is also a full-size dining table that comfortably seats 8 people so that you can enjoy a meal in the open air. The deck has an amazing view of the Blue Ridge mountains; on a clear, crisp morning, the sunrise view on the deck is breath taking, and NEVER gets old. Sit on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee or tea and listen to the wild birds chirping. There is also a propane BBQ on the deck that you may use during your stay.

OPEN FLOOR PLAN LIVING
Head back inside and you will be welcomed into the open main floor with brand new furnishings curated by west elm and Pottery Barn. Plop down on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace. If you're looking to cook a great meal for the family or your friends, the fully stocked kitchen will provide everything you need to do so, including all major appliances including:

MAIN BATHROOM
Just outside of the bedroom is a full bath with a large vanity, shower, and bathtub, stocked with all Public Goods essentials for getting nice and squeaky clean.

Upstairs, the loft has a cozy reading nook with a queen sleeper sofa and a desk in case you need to respond to a few emails.

UPSTAIRS BEDROOM & BATHROOM
Continue on and you will come to another bedroom which has another comfy queen size bed and en suite 3/4 bathroom (no tub).

DOWNSTAIRS GAME ROOM
Head down to the ground floor level and you will be greeted by an awesome game room. Equipped with an air hockey table and Pac-Man blast arcade game with 30 games so that you can enjoy some friendly competition. There is also a Smart TV so that you can have the game on in the background.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM
Also downstairs, you will find another bedroom with a queen size bed, reading nook and everything you need for settling down for a nice rest. There is also an awesome gas fireplace in this bedroom!

There is another 3/4 bathroom downstairs as well as a laundry room with a handheld clothing steamer for your use.

We have a smart lock that makes it convenient and simple for you to access the cabin during your stay. The home is located in a gated community; you will be provided with the gate code prior to your stay.

The cabin in on 1.5 acres and is professionally landscaped. You are welcome to roam as you like on the property!

There is ample parking for your whole group. The parking area is maintained gravel.

The Neighborhood:
The cabin is located in Mineral Bluff, which is only a 15 minute drive from the quaint shops and restaurants in downtown Blue Ridge. Once downtown, you can hop on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a nice train ride to the quaint sister towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee.

We are also only about 5 minutes from Old Toccoa Farm Golf Course, if you've brought your clubs with you!

If you're looking for adventure, you can also explore hiking trails, go whitewater rafting, zip down a zipline, or go horseback riding, among other things. No matter your interests, you will find something you enjoy in Blue Ridge!

Getting Around:
You will need a car to get around. The last 1,000 feet of the drive contains a gravel road, with a slight hill. Most cars do perfectly fine on the roads, but 4WD or AWD makes it easier. Maintain a steady, moderate pace when going uphill on gravel roads. During months where there is snow, AWD/4WD is highly recommended.

The Fox Den Cabin is a charming mountain cabin that can sleep 4 with a hot tub and fire pit. Once you enter through the front door you are greeted with a large and open floor plan. The living room area has a set of comfy couches, with a large flat screen tv to enjoy all of your favorite broadcasts. Attached to this living room is the perfect modern kitchen. It is equipped with all stainless steel appliances and everything you would need to cook and serve the perfect family meal. As you head down the hallway past the kitchen to the master bedroom and bath be sure to pay attention to the knotty wood pine floors to see the fox in the natural wood. Once you arrive at the end of the hall you will find the large queen bedroom to your right. On your eft is the main bathroom that is equipped with a tub and shower combo.Once we eave the main floor and head up the stairs to the loft area we will find another beautiful wood queen bed.
