The room is located on the main living room floor. You enter through the front door past the dining room and the stairs . It has its own bathroom which you can access through your bedroom . Your bathroom wont be shared during your entire stay. we have a 5 pound Yorkie that stay upstairs half the time.
We rarely use the living room so feel comfortable to access your room. We are not evasive people so we will respect your privacy.

After your day, feel refresh from the scenic tranquility as the sun sets over the lake. Your stay comes with a light continental breakfast.

When you have some extra work, you can finish it with the desk and chair located within the room. Your room includes a closet and luggage holder to store with easy access to your belongings.

While you are here, light continental breakfast is included. Breakfast can include items such as cereal, almond milk, and breakfast bars. Breakfast is self-serve located in refrigerator and adjacent cart located in the dining room. Extra coffee and tea are also available in the dining room on the cart.

Also for those of you, who need an easy-to-enter listing with low or no stairs, you'll find this one fits the bill! I have hosted a number of guests who used a cane or some other motion supporting device, so you'll be fine. I promise.

If you feel interested in swimming in my lake during your visit, please bring some sneakers or beach shoes that you can wear in the water. This makes it easier for you to get and out of the water. Also bring a swim suit or shorts. By the way the water is refreshing and clean.

NEED A TOWEL FOR THE LAKE? I have some beach towels on hand to loan you during your visit.

NEED an EXTRA OFFICE CHAIR? I have an extra one on hand.

NEED a COT for ANOTHER PERSON? I have cots on hand. Your room can actually accommodate another or at least allow for separates beds. It is a squeeze.

NEED a MAT to LAY ON? Yes, I have a mat on hand. If you have a bad back, need to sleep on a floor, I have a mat to make you comfortable. Of course my beds are firm and extremely comfortable, but on a rare occasions, a guest may have a unique needs. I had a neck injury, so I know what that is like. That's why I have few alternatives on hand.

The linens and other conveniences available. The hardwood floors were refinished in the last 2 years. When you stay in the bed, you'll realize it feels extremely comfortable. As you notice in the pictures, the room comes furnished with attractive antiques. But if your preference requires furniture that's brand new - that's okay ... than my listing may not be the one for you. What's important in the end is that you are happy. And when you stay in my place, you can count on it to find exactly as you see it - if not better! :)

As far as the weather, it's warm relatively all year long. Even in the cold months, sometimes you only need a spring jacket. We do experience all 4 seasons. During the winter, we can experience a few days that feel extra nippy cold where you need to bundle up!

When you gaze your eyes on the lake, every day and every hour it can appear different - but it's always beautiful! Come experience it ... for yourself!

Your breakfast is stored in the refrigerator in the dining room. It's continental breakfast so it's easy for you to help yourself - especially when you might be on the go or decide to sleep in.

There are tables on the upper level and one at the dock, you are welcome to use them. On occasion, I do entertain my personal friends, so I may use one.

Electricity is available outside at the dock and on decks, as well as WiFi, so you are free to work outside on one of the tables.

I do have a dog and a cat. My little dog will love to welcome you. She is sweet and will win your heart over. My cat is an indoor cat - only. Please keep the doors shut so he stays safe inside.

Also, because I am on a lake in a very wooded area, you will see more wild life, vegetation, and also insects. Even though your area is thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival, there can always be a small possibility of seeing insects. In the reality, it's rare that you'll see them in the house, please understand, even with pest control services, it's never 100% insect free.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE ... MAKE PLANS to visit the Stone Mountain Laser Show! The show views nightly during the summer and only Saturday's during fall and spring. I'm located only about 20-25 minutes away.

You'll never see a show like this. It's absolutely phenomenal! If you need to borrow a blanket to sit on the mountain during the show and coolers for your food and beverage, I've got you covered.

Your separate bedroom with the Queen size bed (with separate box springs and mattress) is off the living room. The full size bathroom is located from the bedroom.

Inside the free standing white closet next to the fire place are 2 twin air mattresses. I have had a number of guests who preferred a separate bed, so to accommodate my guests unique needs and the space 2 twin air mattresses are available. Extra linens are available in the free standing closets. If you use them, you will need to pump them up, deflate, fold and store them in their own bag after your use. They pump up and deflate within seconds.

The carpet has been removed. A beautiful new floor was laid in the living room, short hall from the living room to the kitchen and in the kitchen.

Inside the bedroom the Euro mattress was replaced with a firm mattress and box springs and an ultra plush pillow top to make you comfortable and give you a good night's sleep. The pillow-top is removable when needed for those people who require an Ultra Firm support.

In the Florida room is a critical circuit box, that on an extreme rare occasion, I may need to access it. The Florida room is not heated or cooled.

Guest access
From the inside of your apartment, you'll look out and see a beautiful lakefront view. Like most, you'll begin to notice how stress starts to melt.

You have your own private entrance. You will enter though the Florida room.

Your bedroom has it's own private full-size bathroom so you don't have to come out of your room until you are ready.

You'll sleep well on the very comfortable queen size mattress with fresh linens. Your guests or children can sleep on the green cot, daybed, trundle bed, sofa bed or air mattress.

Extra linens are provided in the linen closet that located next to the couch.
Your apartment comes with a full size, furnished kitchen. It comes with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, dishwasher, and all the other furnishings.

Your apartment comes with a desk and chair.

The apartment comes with 2 closets. The white closet is in the living area and one cedar closet within the bedroom.

Coffee and tea are also available.

One parking space is provided. If you need additional parking, let me know and we can probably work something out.

Be sure to bring your fishing pole. Fishing is excellent whether it's off the dock or in the boat. Feel free to take the boat for a spin if you like take it for a ride. You can even swim in the water if you choose, so bring your suite.

And if there is something that you need or want, let me know.

Other things to note
If you or someone traveling with you has allergies or is allergic to cats, at this time, I would recommend that you select another property. My past tenant had a lovely cat. Although my place has been throughly cleaned, it's possible that I may not have removed all pet hairs or dandruff until I replace the flooring or the wall covering. When I make those changes I will have the place listed as "Business Ready". Please check back at place to have a stay at a future day, if you or someone you travel with has allergies.

You will be comfortable and peaceful in this beautifully set private room.
It has its own bathroom, a king size bed and walk in closet.
It is set in a beautiful home that is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. You can enjoy your breakfast or a cup of coffee on either one of our patios while you listen to the birds in the morning. We have fire pits and a BBQ grill that you will be able to use whenever you like.

The English Quaters is just one of our specially themed rooms. It is a very spaciou and private room with its own bathroom which has a hot tab.

We are centrally located in the Duluth area. The infinite center being but 7 miles up the road, the perimeter area is 12 miles away and of cause Atlanta is only 20 l
Miles down I-85.
