There are plenty of towels for four people (we had three) but no shampoo, body wash or bar soap. The washer/dryer came in handy (we brought our own soap and dryer sheets) and the coffee bar was great (bring your coffee and condiments). Overall this is a great place to stay and we will check availability the next time we’re back looking at homes. "

- "Stayed here for a Baseball Tournament at the beginning of June and the house was less than 5 miles from the event center. The house was very clean and the layout was nice. The beds in the twin bed room are very very high off of the ground - worried the little one would roll out and fall on the floor but thankfully no issues with that. The ironing board is built in the wall in area off the kitchen - in a small closet - appears to be original to the house - took me 2 days to find it so just passing that along for others. Loved the wash machine and dryer because it made it easy to wash and dry the baseball uniforms on Saturday for Sunday. The closet organizer in the master bedroom is really nice. Loved the location and its proximity to everything - would like to stay again when I can enjoy the house and the area and not just use it for a place to crash after being in the heat all day at the ball fields."

Checkout time is 10am, there will be a $20.00 per hour charge for every hour after 10am until you have checked out.

ALL CABINS ARE SMOKE FREE, so please don’t smoke in them. If you do smoke in any of the cabins, your card on file will be charged $200.00

During your stay, if you experience any problems with your A/C Heating Units, TV’s, or any other appliance, please notify our office at 706-882-3437 ASAP. We do our best to resolve issues immediately. Please note, we do not issue refunds or discounts due to any sort of appliance malfunction including any and all items listed above or uncontrollable acts of nature, maintenance or cleaning situations. If something happens after hours please call 706-882-3437 and select the option for after hours emergencies, please make sure to leave a VM as the call will not be answered. We will address the problem and return your call as soon as possible.

Please make sure to lock all doors and windows before leaving your cabin. Highland Marina is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you have valuables keep them with you at all times. Before your final departure, do a walkthrough and make sure that you have everything that belongs to you.

Please make sure all dishes are washed, dried and put away in their proper place (the cabinet in which they came from). Do not leave dishes in the sink, or the dish strainer. Do not put dirty dishes in the cabinets.

If for some reason you rearranged the furniture in your cabin, please place all the furniture back in its original position.

WE HAVE A STRICK 11pm QUIET TIME POLICY, AFTER 11pm THE NEIGHBORS SHOULD NOT HEAR YOU.

Please remove all household trash to dumpsters located thru out the property, there will be a $20.00 CHARGE FOR TRASH NOT PLACED IN DUMPSTERS.

Grills are for grilling purposes only.

Damages: You will be held financially responsible for any damages to the room or property. We will automatically charge the credit card that we have on file for the amount that.

Occupancy Limits: Each cabin has a maximum person and vehicle occupancy. We insist that the number of guests is not exceeded. Our cabins are priced for basic occupancy. There is a $200.00 per person charge for all guests over the maximum occupancy limit. 1 BR/4-person max, 2BR/6-person max, 3 BR/10-person max.

We do NOT allow house parties in any of our cabins. We promote a family atmosphere. Children under 17 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

We reserve the right to decide what is disruptive, if you are disruptive to other customers or employees you may be asked to leave, no refund will be issued. If you damage any property belonging to the resort you will be required to leave immediately, and no refund will be issued.

Upon checkout if there are any items missing from the cabin that were there upon check-in (ie: dish soap, light bulbs, potholders-DO NOT PUT POTHOLDERS ON HOT STOVE), you will be charged $20.00 per each missing item.

If damages do occur because I did not follow the rules, procedures and regulations I have agreed to listed above; I understand and agree that I will be paying all attorney and court fees associated with Highland Pines Resort and Marina getting reimbursed the money owed to them.

We do not refund or give credit for any unused nights, if you leave early you agree that a refund will not be issued.

Please DO NOT clean fish inside the cabins. This includes not using towels provided by housekeeping. We appreciate your cooperation.

Pets are not permitted in any cabins, please check with the office regarding service animals.

If upon arrival to your cabin there are any issues, please call the office right away so we may take care of it for you.

A quaint three bedroom, two bath modular home on almost 2 acres. Lots of room to roam and surrounded by country side. The house is 15 miles from Pine Mountain, 8 miles from West Point/Lanett/Valley &10 miles from Lagrange. **not in a city must drive. Enjoy an open floor plan and a big front yard. The house is a work in progress, and we are fixing it little by little. This is great if you want a big space in the country. This is not the Hilton, nor fancy by any means. *security camera outside. Pet friendly and great if you like to grill outside, just chill by the firepit or enjoy the starry sky at night.

- "If you’re looking to stay in the LaGrange area… you can’t get better than this!" - "We had an amazing stay at this house. It was the perfect size and location for our family. The pool and access to a small lake was amazing. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for our family. The ONLY complaint I have is that the kitchen didn't have much by way of cooking for 12 people. There was one spatchula, one ladle type spoon, no knives for cutting meat, no cutting boards or colander, there was one small casserole dish and no utensils for cooking on the grill. I should've reached out ahead of time to better confirm what was included in the kitchen so I could plan meals more easily.We will definatly book again for future visits to LaGrange."

It sits just a few feet from a private 3 acre pond, which is stocked with fish. Fishing poles + canoe included! We built the Hacker House to host solo creatives and small teams who want a place to get away and get things done.

This is a private place with NO cameras, NO noise requirements (be loud! have fun!), and NO hassle checking in. Leave us all the dirty dishes and towels, too. We will take care of you.
The space
The Hacker House sits on a 50 acre property, just 20 feet from our private pond and a nearly 1 mile long trail that we built in our woods. There are 2 bedrooms with their own private, full bathrooms. There is also a half bath by the dining / coworking area.

Around the house are multiple standup desks, a walking pad, 38" HD curved monitor, and seating for 6-10 people to work from a table, couch, bar stool, or standup desk.

Just outside the downstairs bedroom is a dedicated fire pit with 4 chairs and a bench, some firewood, starter supplies, and an axe. We're also equipped with a canoe, kayak, life jackets, small boat motor (optional), and fishing poles. The 2nd floor deck has some solar string lights to set the mood as well as outdoor furniture. This is not depicted in all the photos.

The Hacker House is ~200 meters from our primary home (your hosts), but you shouldn't see us and we definitely won't bother you. There are some trees between the buildings so you should have total privacy.

Small addition to our house for out of town guests and family. Private entrance and isn’t connected to the rest of the house from inside, but above the room is our kids' bedroom. It has a little kitchen area with a water boiler microwave and fridge (no freezer). There’s a small bathroom with a shower and a queen bed all in 160 square feet,so a very tiny, tight space :) there’s a little porch area to hang out. We are off the beaten track in the woods. 12 Min to Callaway, right off 185 exit 30, 32

The room is yours so everything inside can be used also feel free to use the porch and all outside areas.

Reminders: Mini frige with no freezer, smart tv with netflix, room is 10x16 so small, house is in the middle of the woods and there are insects outside.

No Cats Please. Cats would drive the dogs nuts! Please be prepared to crate your dog if you go out, unless he gets on well with my dogs and I agree to watch them. Thanks.

Drive in slowly down the half mile gravel/dirt driveway we share with 2 neighbors. See deer or other animals sometimes. Designated guest parking area. Follow short trail (35 ft) through gate to Shanty. Door has code to unlock. Seasonal pool available generally May - sometime in Oct. Walk from studio apt. through storage area to private bath (in same building).

Other things to note
There is a train track about 250 yards through the woods. We hear them several times per day. Wifi is good in Shanty. Better outside or on front porch. TV in Shanty, & a radio.

No pets or service dogs due to our child’s severe allergies.

The space
This remodeled camper is very cute and cozy. It's a great space to relax and unwind after sightseeing. It has regular appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, etc), a parental bedroom with sliding doors, bunk beds for kids, and small reading chair. Internet is provided through a hotspot. Keep in mind, water heaters in campers are fairly small, so hot water runs out quickly, and you have to wait for it to reheat for the next person (10-15 min).
We are 15 minutes from Callaway Gardens and FDR State Park, 25 minutes from Columbus, Lagrange, or Little White House and 20 minutes from West Point. Close to several lakes (Lake Harding is great for kayaking) and good hiking trails

Other than everything inside and in front of the camper, we have an outdoor playground, trampoline, and grill you can use. Any outside areas are available for anyone to use.
Please note: the oven in the camper is not easy to use but it does work.

Other things to note
2 adults maximum and 2 young children. Not comfortable for more than 2 adults and if you're fine with cramped quarters two small kids. we use it with our 5 and 8 year old. Phone service is good, and there is Internet via a hotspot (Speed is not guaranteed, and we get 100gb per month). The driveway is gravel/dirt very bumpy and may be a little difficult with a small car. We have two young kids and two cats who are often playing outside. If you don't like kids or cats (or nature) or need fast internet, this may not be the ideal location. We can't have dogs here due to issues with our kids and cats, so please make sure there are no pets. Also, the listing price is based on the number of people. please input the correct number of guests (this also accounts for electric, water, emptying grey and black water and of course sheets, towels, etc . Only 5 minutes of hot water with the water tank.

Freshly painted and decorated, my LaGrange home is ready for you to have a relaxing stay. Whether you are in town on business, visiting family, or attending a concert or event, everything is minutes away. The home is walking distance to Sweetland Amphitheater, The Thread, and LaGrange High School. Just a quick drive to Downtown LaGrange, LaGrange College, Callaway Gardens, or Great Wolf Lodge.

There is still work to be done, so if you expect a 5-star hotel experience, this is not it.

The space
Guest Bedroom: This spacious room has 1 Full Bed, a dimmable lamp, and a cordless iPhone/Apple Watch charger.

Blue Room: This is technically a bedroom, but I use it for yoga, reading, etc. There is currently a full size air mattress available for this room, as well as a chair that converts to a twin bed. If you don't need it for a bedroom, feel free to use the yoga mat or enjoy a book.

Living Room: The cozy living room is perfect for relaxing and watching a movie. The Roku is set to guest mode so that you can sign in with your account, or you can stream music on the soundbar.

Music Room: When I am home, I use this for practicing and teaching voice lessons. If you are a musician, feel free to use it. PLEASE respect the piano! Do not allow children (or adults) to bang on it.

Kitchen and Dining: The very spacious kitchen is fully equipped for use. Pots and pans are stored in the drawer under the stove. Grind fresh coffee beans for a pot of coffee or a single serving. P.S. Updates are planned for this area.

Bathroom: Plenty of toilet paper, towels, body wash, and shampoo are available for your use. The bathroom definitely has signs of age and will be updated as soon as possible. I assure you that it is clean!

We are in the Bryant Lake subdivision which is two minutes from I-85 exit 14. There are tennis and basketball courts and the swimming pool right next to the Bryant Lake. Also the Bryant lake is the best for a walk.

Upstairs are for guests. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms(one is private and the other is shared). Your room has a private bathroom inside.

Downstairs, a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry and a half bathroom will be shared with the host and other guests. A living room has an big screen internet TV and comfortable couches. The kitchen has a refrigerator for guests only. Dishes, silver wears and cooking utensils will be provided.
As the host, I live in my own bedroom and Bathroom downstairs.
