Located just 10 minutes from Callaway Gardens and Hog Mine, Gorgeous hiking tails at FDR state park, and some small town antique shops/eateries, our charming cabin offers the perfect retreat! Nestled one block from an exclusive, privately owned, spring-fed lake that we encourage our guests to enjoy! You'll notice serene surroundings and plenty of activities. We have thoughtfully stocked the house with amenities for guest use at no extra charge.

Our Cabin is seated on a 1 acre plot of land filled with hard woods that are home to about 12 different species of birds. They sing morning and night so bird watchers come on! We keep binoculars at the cabin for those that forget them or don't have any. We have deer, and fox sitings regularly around the house so keep your eyes out!

The Cabin features a wrap around deck, hardwood floors, high speed internet, 65" Flat screen TV, all the appliances and dishes and serving utensils you would need to make a meal including condiments and an always full spice rack and non perishable cabinet.. There is a brand new full size GE washer and dryer in the master closet that guests are welcome to sue as well.

We supply linens, shower towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels, as well as paper towels, toilet paper, body wash, hand soaps, shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, and laundry soap, extra trash bags, sponges for the kitchen sink. There is nothing we haven't thought of for your convenience.

If you are wanting to go hiking we provide two hiking back packs, for guest use incase you forget yours. There is a beautiful hike featuring multiple waterfalls that we recommend if that is your thing- it even has a secret swimming hole at the very end, we can give you directions upon request :)

We have two gated lake accesses that are accessible to our guests at no extra charge. There is a lake access dedicated just for your dogs that is fenced in, and has a fishing dock. Both Lake accesses are close enough to bike or walk, but we usually prefer to drive in with all our gear, especially since we have kids. The lake is stocked with fish, and we stock it annually to keep it up. It's hard not to catch something. At the gated lake access, you'll find:

A designated swimming area that goes from ankle deep to 15-20 feet deep

A volleyball court right on the lake shore

A play ground for the littles

Boat launch, (bring your boat if you'd like we have on site parking! 150 hp or smaller)

3 charcoal bbq Grills

Screened and open pavilions, both have great shade for those that want to be close to family but out of the sun

A yeti cooler for guest use, incase you want to take drinks to the lake for a full day of fun!

Log cabin sleeps 14 people with 3 bathrooms. Just over an hour southwest of Atlanta where there are no crowds Serenity Cabin is the place to go for a mountain getaway. While there are numerous great restaurants in the area, our kitchen has all you’ll need to prepare meals in the cabin, just bring your food and condiments. Callaway Gardens is within 15 minutes from the cabin and so is the Roosevelt National historic site, “The Little White House.” There are many hiking trails nearby with horseback riding stables too. Come relax on the back porch and enjoy this great vacation spot.

There are 2 king size beds, 4 queen size beds, and one double size bed.

Our cabin is perfect for families who want to spend time together. We tend to shy away from groups of young people without adequate adult supervision.

Come relax in a roomy and lovely, historical 4 bedroom 4 bath cabin located in the Callaway Gardens Area on private Lake Ida. This cabin was built by the the founder of Callaway Gardens, Cason J. Callaway in 1930 and renovated in the late 90s. It is part of a property which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and until now has never been available to the public as a rental.

The cabin is 3200 sq feet- Ample space for 8 guests! It has new master beds, beautiful antique furnishings, wifi, and 60"smart tv. The antique wood furnishings are original to the cabin from 1930, many from Old Hickory Furniture Company- purchased in 1930 when the cabin was built. Two king bedrooms and two twin bedrooms are perfect for two families, or 8 adults. Each bedroom has a private adjoining tub/shower combo bathroom.
The living area of the house features a nice sized living room and kitchen with a pass though dining room between them. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living area, and a 60" smart TV, on which guests can access their own app accounts.
The outdoors offers plenty to enjoy! Take in the beautiful views of the mountain, lake, and the 5 acres of lush forest surrounding the cabin. Fish on the lake where past Presidents have fished, Franklin D Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lady Bird Johnson and Jimmy Carter. So bring your fishing gear to enjoy some great fishing. Cason's Cabin is situated a short walk down the private drive from the private historical residence also located on the property, The Lodge at Blue Springs Farms. This large log home is where Cason and Virginia Callaway lived and retired for over 40 years. Across from the cabin there is a great field overlooking Lake Ida, perfect for play/sports/kids fun. Enjoy your coffee on the front screen porch watching the sunrise, and in the afternoon with cocktails as the sun sets. Use the fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals or drive a short 5 minutes to one of the areas best steakhouses around! People from 3 surrounding counties drive here for a fine tasty dinner, in a relaxed off-road pub and restaurant, appropriately named "Hunter's Pub". This 3BR/2BA house on West Point Lake is perfect for a family adventure, getaway, or fishing trip. Plenty of land to roam with a fire pit to enjoy the great outdoors. This house is ready to entertain - a great room with kitchen, TV, and new appliances. You will love the peace and quiet this home provides!

The main room features a vaulted ceiling with wood beams spanning from side to side and a hardwood floor to pull it all together. The downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a full over full bunk bed with a trundle pull out. We also have a loft that features a queen bed. The upstairs master suite has a king bed and a small kid bed. This home offers a perfect setting for a family retreat or lodging for a fishing tournament.

Upon arrival, be sure to take a minute to relax on the screened porch or stretch your legs by take a walkabout down the trails through the woods. Our plot of land backs up to core of engineer property that is protected - this land is full of wildlife you can observe from the back porch. The dock is about 200yds from the house and can be accessed by following a lighted gravel trail to the lake that starts right out of the back door.

There is no cable at the house. There are 2 Smart TVs with Netflix and Hulu subscriptions available.

Please note that the dock is a shared family dock and my parents keep their boat there. Both boat slips may be occupied during your stay but there is plenty of room to tie off on either side of the dock. The dock features water and power available for your use.

Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is 10am unless discussed otherwise.

We left the bedroom door open and temporarily removed the vent which significantly helped cool the room down. By the time we left, there was still a mildly foul smell in that one room. However, everything else was exceptional."

Beds were comfortable with plenty of drawer space in the main bedroom. No dresser in the second bedroom..just a nightstand. There are plenty of towels for four people (we had three) but no shampoo, body wash or bar soap. The washer/dryer came in handy (we brought our own soap and dryer sheets) and the coffee bar was great (bring your coffee and condiments). Overall this is a great place to stay and we will check availability the next time we’re back looking at homes. "

The living room provides a leather couch, a recliner, and a big screen TV. This cabin has a screened in porch with ceiling fans and outdoor seating. It also has a grill, fire pit, and hot tub!

Checkout time is 10am, there will be a $20.00 per hour charge for every hour after 10am until you have checked out.

ALL CABINS ARE SMOKE FREE, so please don’t smoke in them. If you do smoke in any of the cabins, your card on file will be charged $200.00

During your stay, if you experience any problems with your A/C Heating Units, TV’s, or any other appliance, please notify our office at 706-882-3437 ASAP. We do our best to resolve issues immediately. Please note, we do not issue refunds or discounts due to any sort of appliance malfunction including any and all items listed above or uncontrollable acts of nature, maintenance or cleaning situations. If something happens after hours please call 706-882-3437 and select the option for after hours emergencies, please make sure to leave a VM as the call will not be answered. We will address the problem and return your call as soon as possible.

Please make sure to lock all doors and windows before leaving your cabin. Highland Marina is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you have valuables keep them with you at all times. Before your final departure, do a walkthrough and make sure that you have everything that belongs to you.

Please make sure all dishes are washed, dried and put away in their proper place (the cabinet in which they came from). Do not leave dishes in the sink, or the dish strainer. Do not put dirty dishes in the cabinets.

If for some reason you rearranged the furniture in your cabin, please place all the furniture back in its original position.

WE HAVE A STRICK 11pm QUIET TIME POLICY, AFTER 11pm THE NEIGHBORS SHOULD NOT HEAR YOU.

Please remove all household trash to dumpsters located thru out the property, there will be a $20.00 CHARGE FOR TRASH NOT PLACED IN DUMPSTERS.

Grills are for grilling purposes only.

Damages: You will be held financially responsible for any damages to the room or property. We will automatically charge the credit card that we have on file for the amount that.

Occupancy Limits: Each cabin has a maximum person and vehicle occupancy. We insist that the number of guests is not exceeded. Our cabins are priced for basic occupancy. There is a $200.00 per person charge for all guests over the maximum occupancy limit. 1 BR/4-person max, 2BR/6-person max, 3 BR/10-person max.

We do NOT allow house parties in any of our cabins. We promote a family atmosphere. Children under 17 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

We reserve the right to decide what is disruptive, if you are disruptive to other customers or employees you may be asked to leave, no refund will be issued. If you damage any property belonging to the resort you will be required to leave immediately, and no refund will be issued.

Upon checkout if there are any items missing from the cabin that were there upon check-in (ie: dish soap, light bulbs, potholders-DO NOT PUT POTHOLDERS ON HOT STOVE), you will be charged $20.00 per each missing item.

If damages do occur because I did not follow the rules, procedures and regulations I have agreed to listed above; I understand and agree that I will be paying all attorney and court fees associated with Highland Pines Resort and Marina getting reimbursed the money owed to them.

We do not refund or give credit for any unused nights, if you leave early you agree that a refund will not be issued.

Please DO NOT clean fish inside the cabins. This includes not using towels provided by housekeeping. We appreciate your cooperation.

Pets are not permitted in any cabins, please check with the office regarding service animals.

If upon arrival to your cabin there are any issues, please call the office right away so we may take care of it for you.

Focus on work projects or yourself at this glass and steel container-inspired cabin.

It sits just a few feet from a private 3 acre pond, which is stocked with fish. Fishing poles + canoe included! We built the Hacker House to host solo creatives and small teams who want a place to get away and get things done.

This is a private place with NO cameras, NO noise requirements (be loud! have fun!), and NO hassle checking in. Leave us all the dirty dishes and towels, too. We will take care of you.
The space
The Hacker House sits on a 50 acre property, just 20 feet from our private pond and a nearly 1 mile long trail that we built in our woods. There are 2 bedrooms with their own private, full bathrooms. There is also a half bath by the dining / coworking area.

Around the house are multiple standup desks, a walking pad, 38" HD curved monitor, and seating for 6-10 people to work from a table, couch, bar stool, or standup desk.

Just outside the downstairs bedroom is a dedicated fire pit with 4 chairs and a bench, some firewood, starter supplies, and an axe. We're also equipped with a canoe, kayak, life jackets, small boat motor (optional), and fishing poles. The 2nd floor deck has some solar string lights to set the mood as well as outdoor furniture. This is not depicted in all the photos.

The Hacker House is ~200 meters from our primary home (your hosts), but you shouldn't see us and we definitely won't bother you. There are some trees between the buildings so you should have total privacy.

The space
This cabin seated on .75 acres of beautiful hardwoods. The cabin is a spacious one bedroom, one bathroom with plenty of amenities for our guests.

Notably the amenities include a full kitchen, which is stocked with everything you’d need to make a meal, including spices, basic condiments, tupperware, silverware, knives, counter top appliances etc.

We installed a brand new washer/dryer so that you don’t have to go home with dirty clothes after vacation. The large walk in closet in the master bedroom features wooden built ins and plenty of shelving for storage.

The exterior of the cabin features a wrap around deck, and a fire pit looking onto beautiful hardwoods. If you’re into bird watching, the deck is a wonderful place to observe in the mornings and the evenings year round as close to 17 different species of birds flourish in the area and have made home in our yard. The wrap around deck is fully gated- you can gate off just the deck for pets so that you can come & go to unload your things, or you can fully gate the front porch and the deck together!

For those coming to relax indoors we have puzzles, games such as sorry and monopoly etc, cards, and books inside. As well as a 65” TV & High speed WiFi. We are writers and musicians and wanted our space to reflect our passion for music so we placed 2 guitars and a piano at the cabin as well for guest use.

In addition to the indoor games, we keep out door games in the shed. There is kickball and tee ball with bases, yard Yahtzee (lawn dice and list of games), a frisby, volleyball and a volleyball net down at the lake, and a football. We keep 2 mountain bikes in the shed for those looking to explore around the lake. If you are wanting to paddle out we also provide two kayaks, and two paddles for those looking to have fun on the water!

If you’re a fisherman or woman, enjoy the use of our fishing poles and basic tackle. We have poles for children as young as 5 all the way up to adult size poles. There is a drink cooler in the shed if you’d like to use it for a day on the lake.

If you’re bringing your boat, we have parking on the premises at no extra cost!

We provide a brand new Webber charcoal grill and charcoal with all the accessories for our guests to grill out around the house, in addition to the three grills at the lake.

For hikers we keep two backpacks you can use on your adventures in case you didn’t bring one for yourself. There’s nothing we did not think of, we hope! :)

The space sleeps 5 featuring a queen bed and a twin Murphy in the master and a pullout couch that sleeps 2..

The cleaning fee covers the basics and then some: bath towels, sheets, pillows blankets, hand soap, dish soap, sponges, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, trash bags and trash service, a full spice cabinet, hangers for clothing storage and a full clean prior to checkin of each guest.

please come enjoy the lake, write a book (or read one of the many that we keep at the cabin for our guests), bird watch, hunt, golf read, write, cook, hike, bike, ride horses, swim, kayak, antique shop, or visit the nearby attractions such as Callaway gardens, hog mine, FDR state park (views, trails, waterfalls etc).

We would be glad to help you plan your trip if you are looking for activities, don’t hesitate to ask for help! We will gladly recommend our favorite restaurants, hiking trails, scenic drives, activities near by, directions, etc.

Guest access
There is a door code for guest access on the front door, right inside the gated wrap around porch. There is a lock box with a physical key in case of emergency and I am always available to my guests during check in hours for any questions or help needed! Code will be provided on the day of check in. We almost always give early access as long as the unit is properly cleaned in time so don’t hesitate to ask.

Other things to note
If you are making a long drive and we are on your way, stop for a couple of days- it’s worth it. There are over 17 bird species singing in the mornings and evenings, we have fox sightings, and the lake is stocked with fish if you’d like to test your skills on our spring fed lake!

We have a secret swimming hole at the end of a beautiful hike, and will give details upon booking if requested. it can be hard to find but once you know, you know. It is the best place to cool off if you're up for a good hike! Our private lake access also has a swimming area and a dock and is just a walk or bike ride from the house.

The Oar House is a unique, fun, and tranquil lake front cabin with room for the whole family. It is spacious enough to sleep 8 people, and cozy enough for 2. You will enjoy deer, turkey or maybe a fox meandering across the trail to the boat dock as you sit on the upper deck sipping your morning coffee. It is beautiful here on the lake.
So come fishing, use our kayaks, or just sit on the dock and soak up the sun as you enjoy watching Henerietta, the local Blue Heron do her own fishing.

The space
This cabin is lake front. An overlooking back deck with cable railing has a beautiful view of the lake through the trees and of the woods surrounding us.

-Hop on over into the beautiful state of Alabama as well. Many locals travel to Auburn and Opelika for shopping, dining, and foot ball games.
-Our cabin is located less then 40 mins from Callaway Gardens. A beautiful place to visit year round.
-Locally, you are down the road from West Point Lake. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at any time of day! -Lagrange is a college town full of new opportunities and attractions. Concerts hosted at our local SweetLand Amphitheater are perfect for a night outing. Enjoy drinks and games after at Wild Leap Brewery.
-15 mins away from downtown Lagrange, you have lovely restaurants and boutiques to explore.

-we do not have a dock onsite but we are less then 5 mins from a dock that connects to west point lake
-fishing is allowed in the pond. we just ask that guests be respectful of our neighbors & not venture onto private property

This is a one large room studio cabin. There are no traditional bedrooms. I know that sounds crazy. It is a 1400 square foot house that was completely remodeled to create this unique space.

We have equipped the cabin with three sleep areas: 1. a king bed (two twin tempur-pedic), 2. triple metal bunks (firehouse style), and 3. a high end king pullout sofa (promised to be very comfy).

This cabin is located inside Mountain Top Inn & Resort community. This community contains several residential properties and is generally quiet and peaceful.

The main level of this home is accessed from the lower deck, which includes a spacious gas fire pit area.

Inside the main level is the kitchen, bar seating, breakfast nook, and dining space complete with a vinyl record collection, retro record player, board games, and puzzles.

Second Level
The second level includes the living area, main bathroom, main bedroom, second bedroom/bath, and access to the upper deck where you’ll find two lounge chairs.

The living room is complete with a Smart TV, large sectional couch, cozy lighting, and no shortage of warm blankets.

The large main bathroom is off the living room and includes a shower, complimentary toiletries, plenty of towels, and a handheld steamer.

The main bedroom contains a memory foam king-sized bed and large windows overlooking the trees with glimpses of the mountains beyond. The main bedroom does not have an en-suite bathroom.

The cabin is located in rural Georgia in Harris County. Folks out here like guns and pick up trucks. You may occasionally hear folk doing some target practice, but fear not, ammo is expensive and the shootin' doesn't last too long. :)

Stays longer than 2 weeks will incur additional $135 cleaning fee after the first 2 weeks, and every 2 weeks thereafter.

The cabin may not be suitable for small children who cannot safely maneuver the spiral staircase. We DO have a baby gate to block access to the spiral staircase—please ask about it! The cabin is NOT BABY PROOFED. There are small black pebbles in the fireplace surrounding the electric log kit, which could be a choking hazard. Be attentive to your young ones.

This triplex cabin can accommodate up to 18 guests, but can also be divided into three separate units for multiple families (B and C share an interconnecting door while section A is separate). Each unit features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The units each include a fully equipped kitchen and separate back porches. Two units have beautiful stone and gas log fireplaces.

Cell phone coverage varies from location and provider. Many Mountain Top Inn and Resort cabins and rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi to guests. However, due to the secluded area the connectivity can be limited and unreliable. IT IS SATELLITE BASED INTERNET SERVICE. NO HIGH-SPEED INTERNET IS AVAILABLE.

Please note that not all cabins that may be listed online are associated with the resort and as such do not enjoy the amenities of the resort such as our beautiful mountain view, seasonal swimming pool, on-site management, maintenance, and housekeeping.

A refundable $500 security deposit is required to be collected at check in.
