The home was super comfortable, spacious and well appointed. There was plenty of soap and detergent, coffee and fixings, plenty of firewood for the pit, pan spray and paper towels, paper plates salt and pepper, some other spices, toaster, mixing bowls, pans, utensils, extra bedding and blankets, towels, etc. It was very well stocked making our stay very relaxed. The home itself was nicely decorated and well maintained, obviously updated and clean. I 100% recommend. Thank you!!!"

However after contacting the host it turned out that the house cleaner had had a family emergency and was not able to clean the home. Demetric was extremely apologetic and professional. He offered to help out in any way to make it right and gave us several very agreeable options. In the end he paid for our hotel stay that night and had the place cleaned and ready by the following day. We enjoyed our stay there, it was clean, neat, and pleasant. In addition the neighborhood was very quiet and we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this place!"

The space
The house has its own gated private driveway and is located on the backside of a small pecan orchard surrounded by fields of cotton. It’s spacious (nearly 2500sqft. farmhouse) with 2 bedrooms(one has a queen bed and the other has a queen and double bed) and 2 full baths. It has a fully stocked kitchen with a table for 8 and also another table in the kitchen area that accommodates 4! Also in the kitchen area is a wet bar with an ice machine and wine cooler. The dining room has an antique dining table with seating for 6. The living room has 2 full leather sofas, a leather reclining chair and 2 antique chairs for extra seating! You also have access to a full laundry room. We are centrally located and only 20-30 min from Albany, Tifton, Ashburn, Cordele and Moultrie.

Mike's groceries close by so there is no need to drive into Albany for groceries. So glad to have found this property which was close to relatives on our visit. Everything you could want in a property. I believe owners stay in the guest house behind the main house. They park their cars in the garage --- a little creepy but absolutely not a problem. Plenty of towels for your visit. Outdoor space to use (no pool) if you choose. Huge TV in family room with very comfortable reclining sofas. We hope this property is available for any future visits. North of Albany you are only 12 miles from Albany Civic Center, the home is located within the city limits of Leesburg. Plains, the home town of President Jimmy Carter, is only 26 miles away. The house was built in 1896 but has all the amenities of a modern house. My house is conveniently located close to all Lee County schools, courthouse and recreation venues. The Kinchafoonee Creek is located within a mile for those kayak enthusiasts. Early check in available but may require additional fee.
