Walk over to Roy's waterfront restaurant and enjoy the sunset while having a nice dinner or check out the live music at Crabby Dads for a more lively atmosphere, and don't forget waterfront Hungry Howies for some Awesome pizza! There is plenty of parking for your boat or golf cart, both under this stilted home and in front of the home. (Please note the home has a 10ft clearance underneath.) Security cameras are located on premises for your protection and your boats security.

The Shells N Tails Rental is located in a quiet 4 unit complex. There are 2 homes in each unit similar to a duplex. The 1200 sq. ft. townhome is located on the left side of the green home in 205A.

The Master bedroom contains a king size bed with an on-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. A second bathroom is located across from the front bedroom. In the living room, a full pull-out sofa bed is also available. Comfortable sheets are supplied for all beds. Fresh towels and wash clothes are supplied in both bathrooms. Hotel toiletries are offered for those forgotten items.

We are happy to say we now have fiber optic high-speed internet, which is great for watching the sports games we just can't miss. The satellite TV in the living room is on Dish Network and has streaming capabilities. Another TV is located in the Master Bedroom and works with several apps.

After spending a long day on the Gulf, cook or grill your fresh catch. Basic amenities are stocked in the kitchen. A propane grill is located on the back porch. Table and chairs are also located on the back porch in case you would like to dine outside.

As you enter the Cypress Crab on the large, screened porch, you are greeted by a large picnic table and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the tranquil yard and outdoors. A propane grill in it is grillin’ and Chillin’ patio with a fan, lights and granite counter. A private outdoor shower (behind the barn in backyard) is provided for rinsing the salt off before relaxing in the house.

The French doors lead you into the kitchen/great room. A large kitchen island that seats 6 and fully equipped kitchen will make meals and snacks easy to prepare during your stay. The great room has a leather (queen sleeper) sectional sofa, leather recliner chair around the large TV equipped with Amazon Fire Stick. There is a daybed with trundle that sleeps 2 more! Large laundry room with washer and dryer.

The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, walk in closet, and a bath with shower. The guest bedroom has a king size bed with a dresser for storage, TV, as well as a large closet with shelves. The guest bathroom has a shower and pedestal sink.

A large circle driveway for your boat or trailer is available for use. Water is available for rinsing rods/snorkel gear. The house is within a short walk/drive or golf cart ride to everything in town. There is a small boat launch 1 block to the north of the house or a 5 minute drive to the public boat ramp. Our home sits right on the Steinhatchee river, It's Upstairs balcony looks over the river for a relaxing view along with the wildlife management area across the river. There's a dining bar on the second floor deck for meals that also overlooks the river. If you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of a manatee in the river. There are 4 kayaks at the cabin with PFD's for adult use.

The river is not deep enough here for larger boats. You can bring a canoe or kayaks. We are 4-5 miles upstream from the boat launch in town . Again only small boats can be put in at the house.

We are located on a double lot with plenty of parking for boats and trailers and the Marina is only 5 minutes down the road for you to put your larger boat into the Gulf. It is a clean and a safe place for you to dock your boat. Historic Steinhatchee Falls are located right down the road for a day of swimming and walking the trails.

Our cabin is located on a dead end dirt road. So if your looking for a nice quiet getaway this might be exactly what your looking for.

On the Steinhatchee River in the woods with access to 22,000 acres of Wildlife Management Area. Clean vintage camper to rest your head at night. Full size open air bathhouse with hot water, electric and septic. Screened porch provides cover in case of inclement weather. Canoeing, hiking, or bird watching are just a few activities you can enjoy. 4 miles of dirt roads at 15 to 20 mph prepares you for just how far off the beaten path this campsite is. Escape the city life and enjoy the backwoods.

The space
Small clean camper with electric and water. The bathroom area should be used as a changing room and / or storage - sanitary and shower water is not an option because a beautiful bathhouse is just a few steps away. Please message me if you have any questions. Linens not included

Guest access
You will have access to the entire camper, screened porch and the bathhouse, and river access. There is 22,000 acres of Wildlife Preserves land adjacent to this wooded community -

Other things to note
This property is directly on a river. The river level changes with the gulf tide (usually only a few feet) Depending on what activity you have planned you should be aware of what happens when the area has excessive rain, or a hurricane. You could john boat to the Gulf of Mexico but realize depending on the tide you may have to get out your boat and pull / push it over the shoals. Canoes and kayaks are welcome (much easier to maneuver than a john boat). This Property is just a short distance / downstream from the river "falls" so there is very little (if any) river traffic. If you plan it right you can go down river to the city of Steinhatchee, eat and / or drink at any of the establishments and use the opposite water flow from the tide change to get back with little effort.
