This was such a beautiful place to stay and I will cherish the memories we made here forever. The ceilings, the chandeliers, the pipe organ, the rafters in the kitchen. Those stained glass windows though...I could just sit and gaze at them all day. The TV is huge which goes well with the high ceilings. The furniture was comfortable (and beautiful!) including the beds, and there was plenty of room to spare. The bathrooms were very private from the rest of the house, which was nice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The immediate neighborhood is beautiful in its own right so don't spend all your time inside! And definitely don't miss the shops and cafes a short walk away - I recommend Uncle Bill's Pizza and Recovery Room for some fantastic food! And last, but certainly not at all least, the host was such a pleasure to work with! She absolutely made me feel welcome and I never had any concerns. Lake Seminole is known for bass and crappie fishing as well as duck, gator,deer, and turkey hunting.

Cabin also has 2 driveways for easy access in & out of property, with outside outlets to charge boat batteries & front screen porch for relaxing out of weather & away from bugs.
Location is perfect for hunters, fishermen or guests who wish to get away from hectic big city stress & guests who are enjoying reunions at Seminole State Park.
We do accept up to 2 dogs. When you enter number of guests, click the ‘pet’ option. A $40 fee will be added per stay. Dogs need to be leashed because there isn’t a fence around property.

Also on a noisy street at night, and a long walk > 1 mile to town square, which is center of the town. That last sentence summed up the biggest complaint about the place. Well appointed kitchen for your cooking enjoyment and a screened porch and private patio area for you to enjoy. Master bedroom has a huge king size bed and mattress and a 65” big screen smart tv! The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen memory foam mattresses and 55 inch smart tvs. Large refrigerator in the kitchen and new washer and dryer in the laundry room. This quiet area is a great area to walk and stroll and has a nice small park area with benches to enjoy as well. There is a nice Weber gas grill on the back porch for your enjoyment as well for those who love to grill! We do live in the home and the room is located on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms. The home is located in North Valdosta. We are located 12 minutes from Moody Air Force Base. 10 minutes from the medical community. 15 minutes from interstate 75. Lots of restaurants to choose from near the home. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

Your room is furnished with sheets comforter blankets, and towels. Plenty of closet space. Please use the hooks that are provided in your bathroom to hang your wet towels on.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in South GA in a historic home. The large private bedroom has two full size beds and connects to the private bath with claw foot tub (with shower surround). All other spaces will be shared with us and our black lab, Willett.

We do provide a small breakfast which includes muffins, yogurt, and coffee. (Sometimes fruit or other items)

Must park in driveway and not on street on right keeping garage accessible to owner. I store a classic car there and may drive it from time to time. You will have two parking places reserved for you at all times and never be blocked in your spaces.

Both front and rear entrances have cameras. The door locks are automated and each guest gets a unique code. Additional locks installed on each bedroom for safety and security.

Dirt road to get to my house it is less than a 1/4 of a mile. This is the country at night it is dark. we have possums, foxes, raccoons. Armadillo. gnats, mosquitoes, bees and wasps frequent the area. Chicken coop with chickens and stray cats. This property uses a well and septic tank. Water may sputter in occasional and septic may let off a gassy smell on occasion.
