The boat ramp is fully restored and operational. Be on the water in minutes after leaving the home.

Steinhatchee offers some great fishing opportunities. Steinhatchee Marina and Sea Hag Marina are near to the home with boat rentals and fishing guides available. Boat slips are also available for renting at these locations.

There is plenty of parking for your boat or golf cart, both under this stilted home and in front of the home. (Please note the home has a 10ft clearance underneath.) Security cameras are located on premises for your protection and your boats security.

The Shells N Tails Rental is located in a quiet 4 unit complex. There are 2 homes in each unit similar to a duplex. The 1200 sq. ft. townhome is located on the left side of the green home in 205A.

The Master bedroom contains a king size bed with an on-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. A second bathroom is located across from the front bedroom. In the living room, a full pull-out sofa bed is also available. Comfortable sheets are supplied for all beds. Fresh towels and wash clothes are supplied in both bathrooms. Hotel toiletries are offered for those forgotten items.

We are happy to say we now have fiber optic high-speed internet, which is great for watching the sports games we just can't miss. The satellite TV in the living room is on Dish Network and has streaming capabilities. Another TV is located in the Master Bedroom and works with several apps.

After spending a long day on the Gulf, cook or grill your fresh catch. Basic amenities are stocked in the kitchen. A propane grill is located on the back porch. Table and chairs are also located on the back porch in case you would like to dine outside.

The condo is also stocked with coffee, filters, creamer, sugar, sweet 'n low, salt, pepper, an assortment of spices, aluminum foil, and many other nice necessities that you won't need to run to the store to grab. Starter paper products and toiletries are also provided. You will absolutely love sitting on the balcony overlooking the Steinhatchee River and watch the fishing boats come in carrying their catch of the day into Sea Hag Marina - right across the river. If you don't bring a boat, but want to rent one or charter a fishing trip, you can do that at Sea Hag Marina. They have a whole fleet of rental boats and many charter captains, but be sure to book in advance. If you do bring your own boat, you have a private slip available to you that is 40' long and can accommodate a boat 10' wide. There is a fish cleaning table on the dock and also a private gazebo for the use of River's Edge Condo owners and guests. Take a dip in the pool after a day enjoying everything that Steinhatchee has to offer (fishing, boating, scalloping or just chillin'). A fire pit in the center of the yard is available to use. Also, a new4 hole putting green and all weather cornhole court for your use.It is shared with the Cypress Crab House on the same property.

The cottage has it's own circular driveway and entrance. There is a small boat launch 1 block north of the cottage. Smaller boats and kayaks can be launched here to go up river or out to the gulf.

There was a place we were able to go and clean the fish, but it would have been more convenient if we could have cleaned them there, but that is what happens when people are not responsible. A small clothes line would be great to hang up.our wet clothes, but we managed. Overall the cabin was clean, it is a bit small for 3 adults, no privacy for the bedroom area. This place is perfect for a couple, and they have another place that is super big, so maybe next time."

The outside area includes a large front porch with a dining and seating area. The side yard features a new covered grill and dining area. Attached to the grill area is an enclosed laundry and storage for the outside games.
There is ample parking and boat and gear washing area. For anglers and seafood enthusiasts, Blue Haven offers easy access to public fish cleaning stations located at both Sea Hag Maria and Steinhatchee Marina. You can clean your own catch or enlist help from professionals. We have kayaks for you to enjoy the many rivers and creeks. Corn hole, tetherball, ladder golf are just a few of the out door games we have available. Pickleball courts are just across the river and we have paddles for you to use. Lots of board games are inside to enjoy as well.

We have smart door locks on all the exit doors, front and back. There is one ring doorbell on the side entrance entering into the breezeway.

Would have loved more time there, but unfortunately our busy schedules only allowed for a weekend stay this time. We loved being able to be so close to our boat the whole weekend with it being just a few steps away at the dock across the street. The house was clean and spacious, so close to everywhere we wanted to go for the weekend. Ami was the best host EVER!! So very nice and wonderful to us this weekend. We were allowed early check in since we got to town earlier than expected and a late check out so we could enjoy a full last day. She was quick to respond and so very helpful.
