Our screened in front porch provides the perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee, while taking in the scene. Our beaches here are rustic and natural. At certain times during the year there may be seaweed that washes ashore and may decrease the amount of beach that is exposed. Our low tides make for excellent exploring opportunities. You can search for shells, see fish and other sea life as you wade in ankle deep water. It is truly an amazing experience. If you have had enough of fast paced Florida, be sure to check us out. There is a lot more activity (i.e. construction of new houses as Summer Camp gets bigger) than there was last year but it’s still secluded and slow paced. The windows in the house are great - we hardly heard the construction. If you’re looking for a place with lots of things to do and entertain you and places to eat, this is not for you!! If you want somewhere to just be and enjoy your surroundings, this is for you. 😊"

Bella Carrabelle LLC is a beautiful beachfront two bedroom (both king) 2.5 bath beach home in the world-class fishing area of Carrabelle, FL. Gorgeous views, new appliances, quartz countertops and a well-appointed kitchen await the fresh seafood you’ll catch or buy in the local markets. (The crab cakes just down the road are amazing.) The beds and linens are top quality. Decor is classy and comfortable with an electric fireplace for ambiance. Even a new dock is in to enjoy.

This place is so beautiful there’s really only one name it could have—Bella! You'll have the whole house.

Plenty of outdoor furniture including two hammocks, Adirondack chairs and loveseat with fire-pit coffee table. Mermaid corn hole boards for fun. It’s nice and cool under the house. We do have good AC.

The beach is soft and sandy. It’s not a swimming beach (lots of natural grasses in the shallow water), but the fishing is amazing right out front and we do have a few rods and reels and basic tackle to use during your stay. And we have two kayaks and two SUPs. You’ll have to answer a few questions for us before you can use them, but if you’re sensible and responsible, you’ll enjoy them at no additional charge.

Both bedrooms are KING beds. Two sofas (one in the loft upstairs and the other in the living room) both open up for queen size sofa beds.

TV is BIG and new in the living room and we have smaller TVs in the loft and in the bedroom upstairs. WiFi is good for streaming and we do have streaming services.

A beautiful desk makes an out-of-the-way office area in the loft if you have to work during your stay. WiFi isn’t 5G, but it works for virtual meetings!

We can recommend two charters for fishing excursions: Chip Leavine of FC Charters 850-583-1354 and Joe Bright 850-661-7296. Johnnie Candle in Nov-Dec-Jan. Great fishing also right out front. We have a NEW DOCK (yay!!!) so old pictures might not show it, but it's so nice.

Message us if you have any questions. This home is not managed by one of those management companies that runs everything to the ground before they repair or maintain it. No way! This is our beach house and it’s gorgeous. If you take good care of her, you can enjoy it also.

PS We are dog people so if you travel with a dog we get it. And we can make it work. Dogs must be well behaved, crated when guests are away and not allowed on furniture unless you bring blankets to cover the furniture.

PSS No smoking in the house! We are okay with outside smoking on the property but not indoors.

Inside the home you’ll find an open floor plan. The large farm style dining table seats 6 with extra seating. This home has been newly renovated with well equipped kitchen, and new appliances. You’ll have everything you need to cook, bake and grill. We even have fresh herbs grown on the lower deck. If you need some parsley or basil, it might be there for you to add to your culinary dishes.

There are 2 spacious bedrooms, a master with a comfortable KING size bed & sleeper sofa. The Guest bedroom has TWO large size queen beds with Roku tv.
Each bedroom has its own private bath with fresh linens and towels.

The large living room area has many games provided under the coffee table, there’s a 55” Smart TV, free WIFI and a very comfortable lounge size couch with two captain's chairs overlooking the fireplace & spectacular views of the bayou.

The 300ft+ private dock takes you to the Bayou where you can take in the peaceful breeze, and you'll find quite the catch of fish. (Redfish, Flounder, Sea Trout, Drum to name a few.) Bring your fishing pole! The kayaking can be unforgettable - (just peek at Google Maps’ satellite view).
Sink your feet into the sand at Carrabelle beach (a few minutes away,) feel free to launch our kayaks from the end of the dock and paddle your way across to Carrabelle beach! On your way there, you’ll enjoy exploring through the beauty of the bayou. It's a unique saltwater open body of water leading to the sea. Saltwater fish, and many species of birds can be found here.

Carrabelle is a step back in time. It will remind you of old Florida as you stroll along in the old town.

Carrabelle, meaning “beautiful river” is a boater’s paradise, a fisherman’s dream; enjoy the miles of the New and Crooked River, plan a day to relax across the bay on Dog Island where you’ll find uncrowded white sand beaches, pack a cooler, have a picnic, or put a bend in every fishing rod.
You should have no problem launching from one of the few boat ramps, Pirates Landing (< 1 mi.) on our side of the river.

Our home has a circular drive and is excellent for those trailering a boat or camper. Parking is easy, there is plenty of room for vehicles, and there is also a covered area under the house.

Come and discover the forgotten coast. It's a salty attraction, the panhandles gateway to the gulf.

Bring your boats, or schedule a charter, rent a pontoon, go to private Dog Island, take your bikes to the state parks, kayak to Carrabelle beach or take your paddle board out. (The Beach is a 3-minute drive away too.)

Vacationing at Hooked on Bayou is also a nature lover’s dream: look for the eagles, (binoculars are available for your exploration) owls, ospreys, waterfowl, our neighborly red fox and Cecil the gopher turtle.

For land lovers there are places to explore, to name a few, Crooked River Lighthouse, Worlds Smallest Police Station, George Sands Park for kids, Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum, Carrabelle Bottle House, Carrabelle History Museum, or Play a round of golf at St. James Bay! Take a bike ride, or rent a golf cart close by.

If you'd like to go off the beaten path, St. George Island is 28 min away, and Apalachicola is 25 minutes away with many local restaurants and quaint shops.

If you found us, I’m sure you know that you’ll will be surrounded by two of the best and largest state parks Florida has to offer in Tate’s Hell and Apalachicola.

There are 2 kayaks for your use at the property, life vests, beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, large cooler for fishing, a small cooler to take along on the kayak, and a fish station to clean your catch of the day!

Bring your fishing poles, bring your boats, your gear, bring your family, or just bring yourself. You'll have a great time! This home has everything you need to adventure, relax and recharge, it will be hard to say goodbye.

My only issue was having to load beach equipment and drive to the beach, which was less than a 5 minute drive, but it was a hassle when we have stayed directly on the beach.
