- "Pros:. Location. This house had water views front and back - the St Joe Bay in front across the street and the Gulf of Mexico steps from the back deck. Sits back from road, so road traffic noise wasn't bad and offered plenty of parking. Note: The north end of the Cape has a lot of construction going on and the houses are very close to one another with limited parking. Bike trail across the street and property mgmt company offers a credit toward equipment rental (bikes, beach chairs, paddle boards, etc), depending on length of stay. Easy drive to Port St. Joe for dining and shopping. The house was very clean when we arrived. Cons:. Some maintenance needed such as water stains on ceilings, paint needs refreshed and stucco outside had some serious cracks. Nothing to deter from your enjoyment, but it was noticable. Primary bedroom was fine, but others needed some updated furniture and/or mattresses. We only used Primary bedroom, so it wasn't an issue for us. But I can see how the comfort of the beds could be if you have a larger group staying. Pristine Properties did a good job of communicating except for two small issues. Because we booked through Expedia, they don't get their payment until the day of your reservation. So an email is sent informing you that a balance is due. The second issue was that because of this, the guest portal was not updated with our security code to get in."

Our home has updated furnishings and a fun beach vibe. It has been completely renovated inside and out.
You will enjoy a large master bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, a 43" TV with Roku, a gulf view and a beautiful private ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and gulf view and the second bathroom is just across the hallway with a tub/shower combo.

The beautifully remodeled kitchen has new cabinets and quartz countertops and is well equipped to make you feel right at home.
The kitchen bar overlooks the large dining area which is open to the living room with comfy couches and a 55" TV. We have wifi, movies and games for hanging out with the family.

OUTSIDE:
Under the building there is designated covered parking for two vehicles and an outdoor shower and hose to rinse off with after enjoying a day at the beach. Next to the shower is the storage/laundry room with a washer and dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for your added convenience.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Reservations are strictly limited to a maximum of 4 people since that is all our home is sized and equipped to accommodate.

EXTRA AMENITIES:
We provide everything we can think of to make your vacation as carefree as possible. We supply all of your bed and bath linens and basic household supplies. We also have beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, umbrellas, etc. Our goal is to help you just relax and make this a true dream vacation.

*PET FRIENDLY:
Cape San Blas offers some of the only pet friendly beaches around and is a great opportunity to vacation with your furry friend. We have an oversized doggie door that leads to the shaded porch which is gated off so you and your pet can enjoy the Gulf views together.
The pet fee is $185 and we do allow up to 2 pets. It is required you mention your pet(s) and provide specifics upon booking but we do not discriminate on size and types.
It is very important that you do not bring your pet if it cannot be left alone, is not comfortable in a strange place or is not potty trained. It will not be fun for anyone including your pet.

Please note we do not have special safety precautions setup for children inside or outside our home. We rely on parents to make the determination of what is suitable and to watch their children.

- "We were scheduled to stay here the week after Hurricane Helene. The property manager was very responsive and offered to let us stay at another property if there was damage to this townhome even though we didn't buy the insurance. We were able to stay here and loved it. The place was very clean and well kept. We loved being right on the water and saw dolphins every day but one. Beautiful sunsets from the decks. Not a huge beach, but that is clear from the photos. The only small problem was the lack of beach towels. We have rented quite a few beach homes that have always had beach towels available. Not a big deal but wish we knew it so we didn't have to buy them. Everything else was perfect!"

Neither were real issues for us since we came to go to the beach, but I did want to make the owner aware. Again we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"

The location is ideal for anyone coming on vacation as it is directly beach front, but very near a kayak launch into the St. Joseph Bay as well as the conveniences of Scallop Cove’s General Store, Beach Rentals and Bait & Tackle Shop. Jump on the bike path across the street from the house and you can explore the length of the peninsula up close and personally.
This home is pet friendly and comes complete with a gate on the gulf front deck allowing you to have easy access to the beach while keeping it safe for little children and pets. The gulf front deck is quite roomy and has beautiful views of the beach and water. You can almost reach out and touch it.
