The Dolphin Dance cottage is just a short walk - 30 yards or so - to the sparkling white beach of Florida's Gulf Coast. It sits on the beach side of the road, behind the beachfront properties. Minutes from Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas is quiet and remarkably free of the high-traffic, tourist area crowd. Cape San Blas is a peninsula, so there is no 'thru-traffic' to deal with either. If you are looking for a quiet, family atmosphere near the unspoiled beaches of Florida, Cape San Blas is a must for your summer vacation.

The kitchen has full-size appliances and a dishwasher in the center island. A stackable washer/dryer unit is in the smaller bedroom closet. Roku TV in the living room & Smart TVs in the bedrooms. Wi-fi is included. Bathroom has a walk-in shower stall. Sorry...no boat or trailer parking, but there are marinas nearby. Only one vehicle space available per reservation, no exceptions possible due to limited parking. Due to severe pet allergies, we cannot allow pets. We apologize, but we cannot make exceptions for that either and we do check.

One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has a full size bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living area. Due to the cottage size, we recommend no more than 4 adults to fit comfortably.

Update: These are closed due to a fire: Conveniently located behind the Tradin' Post, which offers pizza, various hot foods and sandwiches, groceries, toiletries and almost anything you may have forgotten! There is also an ice cream stand and some mornings there is a fresh hot doughnut stand.

Easy walk to the beach across the street and nice to be able to pop in to the shop for a sandwich or snack. Easy check in and out, wish I could have stayed longer!"

Enter the bright kitchen and bar area from the main floor where you will find everything that you need to prepare an amazing meal. The updated kitchen features all-new appliances, granite counter, newly painted cabinets, and seating for two at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you could possibly need. Choose between a standard coffee pot or Keurig. You’ll find a blender, air fryer, and sous vide if you choose to really take your meal to the next level. Enjoy your gourmet meals at the dining room table that seats 8.

Just next to the dining room you will find two living spaces. Crowd around the flatscreen TV on the brand new, comfy sectional as you take in a movie after a long day at the beach. Or snuggle up in the sunroom to read a book or magazine.

On the main floor adjacent to the dining room are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, twin nightstands, plenty of space for clothing as well as its own private bathroom with a tub shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a nightstand and plenty of storage. Conveniently located across from the queen bedroom is a full bathroom with a tub shower.

Just down the spiral staircase is additional living and sleeping space. In addition to a bedroom with a full and two twin beds is a living space great for the kids to watch TV and play. There is a fully equipped laundry room stocked with beach towels, beach toys and chairs for your use. In addition, there are bikes that can be used on the bike path that runs the length of the Cape.

Fishcamp is conveniently located to all the Cape has to offer. Just a 4 minute walk to the white sands and clear waters of the north end of the cape and directly across from St. Joseph’s Bay. Spend your days collecting sea shells or fishing. After a day out on the water, take advantage of the enclosed outdoor shower to clean up before heading out to dinner. Walk or bike to Longbill’s or Coneheads. However you choose to enjoy this special place, Fishcamp is an ideal location for all!

This place is the definition of simple living and is perfect for small groups and families. Fishing is extremely popular here as well. The cottage is walking distance from the Tradin' Post, Peachy's, Weber's Donuts, Cape Coffee and IceCream, and St. Joe Shrimp Co.

The space
This home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The master bedroom has a queen mattress and the second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full mattress on bottom and twin mattress on top. There are TVs in both the living room and the master bedroom with Amazon Firesticks. We do not offer cable TV. There is a closet in the bunk bedroom which has room to hang clothing garments. The cottage does have a washer and dryer which can be located in this closet.

Other things to note

The space
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Cape in this charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with plenty of outdoor living space as well as a fenced in yard. Dinners can be enjoyed on the screened in porch or on the back deck after firing up the propane grill to prepare local seafood purchased from St. Joe’s Shrimp Company. Sip your coffee while taking in the bayside sunrise from the Crow’s Nest or adirondacks on the outdoor patio.

Enter the bright kitchen and bar area from the main floor where you will find everything that you need to prepare an amazing meal. The updated kitchen features all-new appliances, granite counter, newly painted cabinets, and seating for two at the kitchen bar. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you could possibly need. Choose between a standard coffee pot or Keurig. You’ll find a blender, air fryer, and sous vide if you choose to really take your meal to the next level. Enjoy your gourmet meals at the dining room table that seats 8.

Just next to the dining room you will find two living spaces. Crowd around the flatscreen TV on the comfy sectional as you take in a movie after a long day at the beach. Or snuggle up in the sunroom to read a book or magazine.

On the main floor adjacent to the dining room are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, twin nightstands, plenty of space for clothing as well as its own private bathroom with a tub shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a nightstand and plenty of storage. Conveniently located across from the queen bedroom is a full bathroom with a tub shower.

Just down the spiral staircase is additional living and sleeping space. In addition to a bedroom with a full and two twin beds is a living space great for the kids to watch TV and play. There is a fully equipped laundry room stocked with beach towels, beach toys and chairs for your use as well as kayaks to take out on the bay.

For those looking to enjoy the Cape from their boat. The house has ample space to park multiple boats and is located just minutes from the boat ramp at the state park.

Fishcamp is conveniently located to all the Cape has to offer. Just a 4 minute walk to the white sands and clear waters of the north end of the cape and directly across from St. Joseph’s Bay. Spend your days collecting sea shells or fishing. After a day out on the water, take advantage of the enclosed outdoor shower to clean up before heading out to dinner. Walk or bike to Longbill’s or Coneheads. However you choose to enjoy this special place, Fishcamp is an ideal location for all!

Propping/providing access to unpermitted guests will result in being asked to leave with no refund. Please take this seriously-having this convenient access to the beach is something our owners fought very hard to maintain.  The code will be provided with your check in instructions closer to your stay.

1. Our cleaning fee cannot be waived and is not negotiable. This ensures that each cleaning is to our standard and provides guests with a great start to their trip.
2. This property is not pet friendly.
3. Due to the decor and size of space this property is not suitable for children.
4. There is no driveway parking.

A quintessential beach cottage consisting of 2 bedrooms (2 queen beds) and 1 bath with a walk in shower. Parking is limited to 2 cars. We are 1 of 9 similar cottages nestled together. Beach access is just steps (66) away and accessible by boardwalk.

The space
Decorated to jump start your R & R. Cool tones and cozy decor will have you feeling at home in no time.

What we call the "master bedroom" has a queen bed (with its own access onto deck) there are 3 drawers in each nightstand and a small, industrial pipe rack for hanging items. The second bedroom has a queen bed as well. The closet is shared by the washer and dryer and has a few shelves and area for hanging items. Both nightstands have small drawers for folded items.

There is one TV located in the kitchen/living room area. It is a smart tv for guests to log into their own Netflix, Amazon and/or Hulu accounts. We do not offer cable TV.

We do provide 2 beach chairs for guest use. Should additional chairs be need please contact vaykgear for chair rental options and pricing. We do provide 4 beach towels for guest use.

Our coffee maker is a 4 cup and takes ground coffee. We also have an electric tea kettle.

Guest access
The entire home and private fenced yard is yours :) You will be given your personal door code 48 hours prior to arrival so you can check-in any time after your specified time.

Reminder of our CANCELLATION POLICY:
We stick to our cancellation policy for every booking. Including for weather related or power outage issues. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance when booking. When you make a booking, it blocks our calendar off so we have a cancellation policy in place to ensure we can continue to operate the property profitably and provide a great experience for all guests. Requests to change your dates are treated the same as cancellations. If you ask us to cancel or change your dates, we will point you to this on our listing description as well as the multiple reminders to purchase travel insurance that we send prior to your stay.

Please note that check-outs are not permitted on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. While the calendar may allow you to book a check-out on these dates, you will be required to adjust your stay accordingly. In such cases, it will be your responsibility to cancel any affected reservations.

Also, please note: we are not responsible for any storms, natural disasters, weather-related events, or utility outages that may impact your stay. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Pet Policy Reminder:
Please clean up after your pets during your stay. A $25 pet waste fee will be charged if the cleaning team needs to remove droppings from the yard. Thanks for helping keep the property fresh and enjoyable for everyone!
