Cottage is located between pristine uncrowded beaches of Gulf County and Franklin County or you can drive east of HWY 98 and if you like to visit Panama City Beach.
The cottage has two bedrooms and two and a half baths and can sleep up to six people.
- The first floor has a beautifully furnished living room with a queen sleeper sofa, 55 Inch Smart TV, as well as a modern dining room area. The kitchen has stainless-steel appliances, Keurig and regular coffee makers, toaster, blender, full set of pot and pans and much more.

- There are two bedrooms located on the second floor. Primary room #1 contains modern furniture, 40 inch Smart TV, a king bed with a private balcony overlooking the pool and private bathroom with hair dryer.

Public beaches are close - it's only about a mile to Windmark Beach and a short drive to the sugar sand of Mexico Beach.

• The main pool is just steps from your front door with the house set off just enough to enjoy being close while maintaining a bit more privacy. View the pool from either of the two screened porches.
• You are close to the parking area which makes unpacking and bringing supplies to the cottage a breeze.
• Barefoot Getaway is on the north side of the main pool; there is minimal road noise!
• Enter through the screened in porch which has a ceiling fan to keep you cool and patio furniture for dining al fresco.
• Step inside to the coastal inspired open floor plan. The entire 1st floor has been redone following Hurricane Michael. The theme is beachy charm, clean and comfortable! The living area includes a 50” Smart flat screen TV. Free cable and WIFI are provided.

Two bedroom, 2.5 bath cottage in the fantastic Barefoot Cottage community. This gated community provides laid back living and great amenities on Florida's Forgotten Coast. Enjoy the two pools, clubhouse, fitness center, and BBQ areas surrounded by natural areas and quaint walking bridges.

Public beaches are close - it's only about a mile to Windmark Beach and a short drive to the sugar sand of Mexico Beach.

• The main pool is just steps from your front door with the house set off just enough to enjoy being close while maintaining a bit more privacy. View the pool from either of the two screened porches.
• You are close to the parking area which makes unpacking and bringing supplies to the cottage a breeze.
• Barefoot Getaway is on the north side of the main pool; there is minimal road noise!
• Enter through the screened in porch which has a ceiling fan to keep you cool and patio furniture for dining al fresco.
• Step inside to the coastal inspired open floor plan. The entire 1st floor has been redone following Hurricane Michael. The theme is beachy charm, clean and comfortable! The living area includes a 50” Smart flat screen TV. Free cable and WIFI are provided.
• The dining area is bright and comfortable with seating for 6. It's a great place to enjoy a meal, play games or plan your day. Four bar stools at the counter provide even more seating and dining options.
• The kitchen is open to the living area and stocked with everything you need if you choose to cook. You only need to supply your food and seasonings. You can take your pick of a conventional drip coffee maker or a Keurig. Additional appliances include a toaster, blender, crock pot and even a waffle iron!
• The downstairs powder room has a full size stacked washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board. Beach towels are also on hand.
• Upstairs are two bedrooms – each with a king size bed, a flat screen TV, and an en-suite bath. The master suite includes a tiled walk-in shower. Recharge on the private balcony to enjoy the beginning of the day or wind down after a busy day at the beach.

We start all guests out with an initial supply of dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry soap, fabric softener, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper. If you're staying longer than a weekend, we recommend you bring additional supplies or you can purchase them locally.

Looking for things to do? In addition to the amenities on site, Windmark Beach is about a mile away; Mexico City Beach is just a bit farther. Drive into quaint Port St. Joe and enjoy the local shops, great restaurants, pedestrian and bicycle trails, the marina and so much more! Kayaking, boating, snorkeling, all things water or bicycling; opportunities are plentiful! Go horseback riding in Cape San Blas or head to Apalachicola for a fun day trip! Relax in the two come-sit-a-spell screened porches with your morning coffee, sweet tea in the afternoon, and cold drinks in the evening.
The decor, furnishings, and linens are bright and beachy. The 1st floor open concept living/dining/kitchen makes for great family time. The dining area has seating for four at the table and a coffee bar. The kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances has seating for three more at the large breakfast bar. It is fully stocked with everything you'll need to fix meals and store leftovers including spices, oil, Pam spray, Ziploc bags, foil, plastic wrap, containers, a mixer, and crockpot. There is a new Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Six beach towels are stored under the TV to grab as you head out the door to the pool and beach. A half bath on this level contains the washer and dryer and laundry products for your use.
Both bedrooms are housed on the 2nd floor, each with an ensuite bath. You can choose bedroom #1, a King with a water view and tub/shower combo, or bedroom #2, a Queen with walk-in tile shower and upper porch access.
Up to 2 dogs are allowed (a pet fee will be charged, house-broken only, no puppies).
This cottage is privately managed, which means you will communicate directly with us instead of a company (you will have my cell # for questions once you book), no surprise management fees at checkout, we are available any time before and after check-in, and we are the cleaning and maintenance crew. We live in the community and do any fix-its needed between guests. You will appreciate this personal touch if you've dealt with a management company previously.
The keyless entry is great for young and old, no keys to keep track of, and you will have a secure code that is deleted when you check out.
You will have two parking spots which are right outside the door, and you will be steps away from one of the community pools and a grilling area. The main pool, hot tub, and fitness room with brand-new equipment are about a five-minute walk away or parking is available there. The 3rd pool is also a short walk away. There are restrooms at all the pools.
If you need beach or baby gear (crib, pack 'n play, high chair, stroller/wagon, car seat, toys, beach wagon, chairs, Shibumi shade, cooler, and much more available), ask me about BabyQuip. You'll find so many items to rent to simplify your vacation, and delivery/pick up is FREE for Pelican Point guests.
Barefoot Cottages is about three miles outside of Port St. Joe. If you take a right as you exit the front gate, WindMark Beach is on St. Joseph Bay and about a one-minute drive. Within about five minutes more in that direction you will find St. Joe Beach and then Mexico Beach (plenty of free parking available). Tyndall Air Force Base is another twenty minutes, and if you keep heading that way you will soon be in Panama City Beach with its tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping, and the Northwest FL Beaches Airport (ECP). To head the other direction, turn left as you exit the gate and you will be in Port St. Joe in about three minutes. There is a Dollar General Market and Piggly Wiggly for groceries, and a vibrant and charming downtown area with locally owned restaurants and boutique shopping. Continue twenty minutes east on 98 to Cape San Blas or take a drive to Apalachicola and St. George Island.
Whether you're coming to the area for a festival or wedding, to unwind with family and friends on our beautiful beaches, to reel in the big ones, or to visit your loved one at Tyndall AFB, we want to help make memories that you'll treasure forever. You can't leave the window blinds open because your neighbors windows are right there. Not sure who designed this but they really didn't think that one out. The Magnolia Cottage is a cute beach cottage nestled in at the end of Reid Avenue, which is Main Street Port St Joe where most of the local shops and restaurants are located. Farmers market just across the street every other Saturday. Port City Trail is just a block away and goes the distance of the town. Located right behind the Port Inn and less than half a mile to the city boat ramp. The house includes plenty of room for parking a boat.

The driveway on the side of the house is long enough we could park a boat on a trailer and truck in it (approx. 60') with plenty of room to spare...and there was another place in front for another vehicle. It's walking distance to the pier and all the stores and restaurants. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We enjoyed the big table and the couches and oversize coffee table were great for playing board games. It was great to visit one of our favorite places on the planet. When we lived there 25+ plus years ago though it was small and quaint. The added stores and restaurants are great for visitors, and it still has most of it's charm and all of it's great views of the sunsets over the bay!"

Our cute little cottage is a home away from home. It offers two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed the other has a full bed and a twin bed. It has all the amenities just like being at home. A fully stocked kitchen with anything you need to cook your days catch. There is also a gas grill for anytime use. We are just a block from the bay and less than a mile from the city boat ramp. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

The space
We have a large fenced in backed yard with a fire pit and fish cleaning table. There is plenty of room for parking a boat and a water hose for flushing out boat motors after a day on the water.

Other things to note
Downtown area is less than a mile with many restaurants and shops. Also, the light house is right around the corner with a walking path and small beach that's great for kids and pets. The space
Enjoy the entire 1200 SF cottage with a great location close to Cape San Blas, Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. We only reserve two owners' & cleaners' closets which are upstairs and are locked - the rest of the house is for you!

The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home sleeps six. Two upstairs bedrooms both have king beds, ensuite bathrooms, Smart TVs and newer LVP flooring. Downstairs includes a Queen Size sleeper sofa with a premium mattress and a 1/2 bath.

The home features high speed internet access and Smart TVs. Basic cable is provided. Cards and games can be found in the living area along with blanket throws to snuggle under while movie watching.

The kitchen is fully equipped with both a drip and k-cup coffee maker, blender, waffle maker, crock pot and tea kettle in addition to dinnerware for 6, glassware and a plethera of pots, pans & utensils.

The downstairs bathroom includes a laundry closet with washer/dryer, beach towels and 4 beach friendly chairs. Laundry soap / dryer sheets are not provided.

The downstairs porch is fully screened with a ceiling fan helping to cool things off in the summer months. Enjoy yourself at the patio table or in one of the adirondack chairs with the twinkle of the string lights at night.

The upstairs porch is attached to the master bedroom and is a great place to enjoy the morning. It also has a ceiling fan to keep the air moving and string lights for fun.

There are community grills - bring your own charcoal - where you might just make a new friend or two. There are two additional pools on property available to you. There is a modest exercise room on site with local paid gym options available.

Water Access: Barefoot Cottages is about 2 minutes from the closest public beach and close to Mexico Beach, Port St Joe and Cape San Blas.

Gate and door access are via keypad. Access instructions and codes are provided the day of check-in.

Welcome to beach cottage living. This is a 3 BR 2.5 bath beach cottage situated 3 blocks from beautiful Mexico Beach. Screened porch on front and open deck with shower on rear of home. Washer/Dryer. Everything you need for a relaxing and fun stay.

The space
The home was built in early 1900's and remodeled beautifully in 2005. Has been our families beach getaway for 20 years and well cared for. Much of the original identity was left in this turn of the century cottage. From the distressed hardwood floors to the original screened porch, adorned with modern furniture, this is the place you would never want to leave. It is a very comfortable and relaxing environment for a couple or a group. The beach is a quick 5 min walk away, but the onsite golf cart can make life so much easier. Close to local dining and shops. Wonderful color themes in each room give an exciting and separate identity to each great memory you and your family will make while relaxing at this charming location. The home survived the Cat 5 Hurricane Michael in 2018. We lost many of our trees and our community continues to rebuild. We are just now beginning to host again and will continue to improve our local environment for the enjoyment of all of our guests in the area.

The community offers free onsite parking. Unfortunately there is no boat or trailer parking in the community.

Wake up each morning to a stunning bay sunrise from the Crow's Nest and end your day with a nightcap under the stars on one of the many outdoor deck areas. Conveniently located to the amenities of the Cape and a four minute walk to the beach. Minutes from the state park boat ramp with ample space to park a boat at the house!

The master bedroom has a king size bed, twin nightstands, plenty of space for clothing as well as its own private bathroom with a tub shower. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a nightstand and plenty of storage. Conveniently located across from the queen bedroom is a full bathroom with a tub shower.

Just down the spiral staircase is additional living and sleeping space. In addition to a bedroom with a full and two twin beds is a living space great for the kids to watch TV and play. There is a fully equipped laundry room stocked with beach towels, beach toys and chairs for your use as well as kayaks to take out on the bay.

For those looking to enjoy the Cape from their boat. The house has ample space to park multiple boats and is located just minutes from the boat ramp at the state park.

Fishcamp is conveniently located to all the Cape has to offer. Just a 4 minute walk to the white sands and clear waters of the north end of the cape and directly across from St. Joseph’s Bay. Spend your days collecting sea shells or fishing. After a day out on the water, take advantage of the enclosed outdoor shower to clean up before heading out to dinner. Walk or bike to Longbill’s or Coneheads. However you choose to enjoy this special place, Fishcamp is an ideal location for all!

What we call the "master bedroom" has a queen bed (with its own access onto deck) there are 3 drawers in each nightstand and a small, industrial pipe rack for hanging items. The second bedroom has a queen bed as well. The closet is shared by the washer and dryer and has a few shelves and area for hanging items. Both nightstands have small drawers for folded items.

There is one TV located in the kitchen/living room area. It is a smart tv for guests to log into their own Netflix, Amazon and/or Hulu accounts. We do not offer cable TV.

We do provide 2 beach chairs for guest use. Should additional chairs be need please contact vaykgear for chair rental options and pricing. We do provide 4 beach towels for guest use.

Our coffee maker is a 4 cup and takes ground coffee. We also have an electric tea kettle.

The TVs are all Roku Smart TVs. You can sign into any service you’d like, but there aren’t any services provided.

All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents.

There is a doorbell camera in place to protect guests and the property. If you touch or tamper with the camera you will be asked to leave the property immediately. This is for your protection! It is exterior only and in plain sight.

The property is surrounded by wildlife. You will likely see and hear critters. We hire pest professionals to minimize bugs and critters in the home, but again.. you're in nature. Please let us know if you have any issues and we will make things right.

No late check-out or early check-in.

No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control.

We generally provide handsoap, a starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and paper towels. Be prepared to bring your own Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal, and coffee :)

Absolutely no fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages.

The house is yours! We have a designated owner's closet right when you walk into the master bedroom that is locked by a deadbolt.

We do not provide refunds for weather or outages. You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. It's common to have tropical weather in the area and experience water, power, and internet outages like any Florida beach town and we can't control when those things happen :)

Please note that check-outs are not permitted on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. While the calendar may allow you to book a check-out on these dates, you will be required to adjust your stay accordingly. In such cases, it will be your responsibility to cancel any affected reservations.

Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook as much as you'd like during your stay. Brand new appliances, waffle iron, crockpot, coffee bar, pots/pans, blender and anything else you can think of.

Large 8-10 seater dining table + 4 bar stools and cozy couches for the whole family to gather together.

Half bathroom on main floor.

Back door accesses outdoor patio/yard area. Easy in and out for grilling and playing outside!

Upstairs Level:

The entire home and private fenced yard is yours :) You will be given your personal door code 48 hours prior to arrival so you can check-in any time after your specified time.

Reminder of our CANCELLATION POLICY:
We stick to our cancellation policy for every booking. Including for weather related or power outage issues. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance when booking. When you make a booking, it blocks our calendar off so we have a cancellation policy in place to ensure we can continue to operate the property profitably and provide a great experience for all guests. Requests to change your dates are treated the same as cancellations. If you ask us to cancel or change your dates, we will point you to this on our listing description as well as the multiple reminders to purchase travel insurance that we send prior to your stay.

Pet Policy Reminder:
Please clean up after your pets during your stay. A $25 pet waste fee will be charged if the cleaning team needs to remove droppings from the yard. Thanks for helping keep the property fresh and enjoyable for everyone!
