Has everything you need and the property owner is very kind and responsive. Everything was every clean and has towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, lots of pillows and blankets. I would bring your own beach towels. We had plenty of room with our family of 4 and enjoyed the patio. Parents loved it and kids loved it. There is a nice TV in the living room and the bedroom with cable. The beach is so so beautiful with sugar white sand and breath taking water. You can bring your own chairs to the beach but not your own umbrella. Maybe .25 mile walk. The laundry and pool are right next to the home which was very convenient. We went in March and the pool was not heated which was the only bummer. I can’t wait to stay here again in the future!"

The Captain's Quarters is a room which sits directly on the Choctawhatchee Bay. It is a Cute cottage connected to our home with soundproofing insulation with a private deck and private covered porch which sits right on the water with beautiful sunrises. You’ll also have a nice gas grill on your private covered porch. You’ll have your own private parking area.
The beach is approximately 10 minutes by car. We are 1 mile east of the mid Bay Bridge exit. We have prepared a Beach kit for you with two beach chairs, umbrella and a thermal bag to put your drinks and snacks in. If you would like a beach wagon, we can also provide that. There is a slight toll to cross the bridge to go to the beach.
Staying at the Captain‘s Quarters you are surrounded by two sides of water. We are the last home before the fresh water stream which makes the Captain’s Quarters extremely private. One of our favorite things in the morning is to watch the sunrise on the dock with a cup of coffee. We would love to have you join us.
We have four kayaks, a paddleboard, lifejackets, and floats to launch at a private beach area just steps from your door. We also have bicycles to use complementary.

- "We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The walk to the beach was manageable for small children and our guest that is expecting a new baby. Pool is just off the patio. We used the beach umbrella and chairs daily. It was nice to have a couple of extra chairs and beach towels available. We also visited all three pools with the toddlers in our group. Thank you to Shelley for good communication and assisting us upon our arrival. The ice machine had trouble keeping up with us but an extra bag of ice solved that problem during the very hot weather. We will definitely look forward to another visit!"
