The South Cabin is a large one room with one Queen Bed, one Full size bed and a sitting area with nice TV, Cable and Wifi. A small kitchen off the room has sink, apartment size fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and ample supply of dishes, etc. Has small bar to sit. Has charcoal grill outside. One bath with shower. Large screened porch to enjoy the days...and nights. Wildlife is still here. The cabin is nestled among the oaks, pines, palms and palmettos at the Old Saltworks Cabins, a civil war historic site. Seclude and quite here and just a short walk to the bay to enjoy a day on or 'in' the water. The bay is hard pack sand bottom, pristine waters and great for all water activities, fishing, exploring. Shallow for a ways out so you see so much! Children love it. (pets and parents do too!) Great place to call home and explore the Cape.

OUTDOOR LIVING - A nature lovers' paradise! Bay Haven's private setting is located right on the bay and is a quick drive down the street to the beach! A full deck with outdoor seating and a hammock leads out to the brand-new paver patio with a fire pit. Relax and unwind in the hot tub that is open year-round. There is a private balcony off the upper-level bedroom. Outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and patio furniture provided. The dock is a shared dock with 1 neighbor. Kayaks and paddleboards can be rented right down the street and can be launched from Bay Haven's dock.

THE SUNRISES - Bay Haven is known for its incredible sunrises! Make sure to experience this while you are here. Step outside, slowly rejoice in your coffee or tea, and reflect on life's gifts and the glory of waking up to a beautiful new day!

THE BAY - The bay features abundant wildlife, we consider the bay to be nature's sanctuary, whereupon exploring you will find starfish, urchins, horseshoe crabs, and sting rays! Kiddos and adults alike, love chasing the lizards, tree frogs, and crabs throughout the property! Keep an eye out for our playful sea otter family that occasionally plays on the dock! During low tide, the bay is shallow and can be walked across for more exploration in the grassy areas and kiddos and fur babies LOVE running and splashing through the water! Wonderful kayaking and paddleboarding experience!

KITCHEN - Fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker - (Keurig with Drip coffee maker as well), cooking basics, dishwater, flatware

SLEEPING - The master bedroom is on the first floor with a King bed and the master bathroom features a bathtub and shower combo. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Upstairs the private bedroom features a Queen bed and a private balcony overlooking the bay. There is a second full bath located upstairs as well and the third bedroom features (2) full-size/twin bunk beds.

*STARTER SUPPLY* of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags * Please make sure to pack extra of these for your stay as only a starter pack is provided.

- "The house was as described and everything was clean. We enjoyed sitting on the decks, by the fire pit, and on the docks. The kids had an awesome time finding starfish and crabs at the bay and searching for shells on the beach" - "Excellent location " - "We enjoyed our stay on the Cape. Great location. CC#4 is an adorable 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is located just 66 steps away from the deeded beach access boardwalk, for a short walk to the sugary white beaches and emerald green waters of Cape San Blas. A classic little beach cottage that features ceramic tile & hardwood floors throughout, a fully equipped kitchen with microware, new gas grill (2020), dishwasher, new cabinets, Corian countertops and a washer/dryer. Internet, cable TV and telephone with unlimited long distance, central heat and air conditioning, a screened porch and a large sun deck. A truly great location that is within easy walking distance to the Cape Trading Post, Weber's Little Donut Shop, and Coffee/Ice Cream Shop. Best value on the Cape...
PARKING IS LIMITED TO ONE VEHICLE ONLY.

This home comes with everything you should need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. You need to bring beach towels, as the home will only have bath towels. We also provide an initial supply of toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry, dish and bath soap.

All of our homes come with WiFi and cable TV.

- "This property was a perfect little get away!" - "We loved our stay at The Gulf Shrimp! The cottage was small but cozy and well supplied for the two of us! The main bed was comfortable too! Very clean and easy access to the beach! The shower is a tad small for two people who are six feet tall each but it's functional! We will book this cozy beach cottage again!" - "Overall this was a great place. It was affordable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for me and my husband. My only complaint is the furniture is uncomfortable and not sturdy. The sofa is blocked up on one end and fell to the floor when my son-in-law sat on it. We had a few rainy days, and watched tv in the bedroom because of the comfort and configuration of the furniture to the tv in the living area. I understand the configuration is limited, but new furniture would go a long way."
