Featuring a year-round outdoor pool, Econo Lodge Valdosta Mall Area in Valdosta has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Some of the units have cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. A sun terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a shared lounge. Valdosta State University is 3.9 miles from Econo Lodge Valdosta Mall Area, while Wild Adventures is 10 miles from the property. Valdosta Regional Airport is 6.2 miles away.

Please note: Our town was hit hard by Hurricane Idalia, which caused extensive damage city-wide. Thankfully, the tiny house glamper was unharmed. Our own home on the same property and the area by the creek was damaged, and our neighborhood is still in the midst of cleanup & repairs. Recovery is speeding along, but we want our guests to know that they may experience the sounds of construction, and some outdoor amenities may be affected. We have adjusted rates to compensate for any inconveniences.

The space
Our Tiny House-style camper/cabin is situated in the back of our yard, in a respected neighborhood in the city of Valdosta:
- surrounded by the foliage from decades-old camellias
- 6 mins from I75,
- feels secluded and private.

There are lots of things to do nearby like Wild Adventures and State Parks!

This location is quite special. When they first bought their home, Casey and Mary Corbin didn’t realize that the original owner, the late Mr. Hulyn Smith, was a Big Deal in the world of camellias, a beautiful flowering tree. He used the yard and the lot next door to propagate many camellias that don’t exist anywhere else! The first time the Corbins saw the yard, it was dark outside and the yard was overgrown and neglected, but Mary noticed that all these trees had tags on them, and she knew she had found a treasure. They are currently in the process of rehabilitating the camellia garden and hope to return it to its original glory. In the winter/spring months, the entire yard is covered in a huge variety of blooms- it’s gorgeous!

Creek:
- we've recently tripled the size of the deck down by the creek!
- Nestled in the trees at the back of the property, it really does feel like you are camping-- in the city.
- The Two Mile Creek runs through the back of the lot on its path to the Withlacoochee River.
- You can watch the fish, frogs, and turtles, and listen to the water bubble over the rocks.
- The property is frequented by wildlife and has been visited by a family of deer, raccoons, possums, squirrels, many species of songbirds, and hummingbirds. There is even an owl we have affectionately named Solomon who roosts in a tree by the creek, and he will “talk” to you as the sun goes down each night.


History of the Glamper:
The “Little Leaf Cabin” is a unique tiny home/camper. According to research, it is one of only 40 campers made by the company in this “Cabin A Retreat” style. (We are on the lookout to buy the other 39!)

It’s an Art Gallery too!
You'll be staying in a tiny art gallery as the Corbins are both artists -if you like one buy it and pack it when you leave as a memento! Original paintings, the natural twisting porch railings, and hand-painted tile backsplash, the artistic touches are obvious throughout. Natural light floods the interior with large windows and a sunroof.

Fully equipped home!
The cabin has a full kitchen (sink, stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave) and a full camper bath (sink, toilet, and little shower). For the sleeping areas, there is a full loft above a bigger-than-a-king bed which is plenty of room for 2 adults and children. Mary loves all the windows and the large patio door for bird watching and the open feel. The decorative fireplace gives the place a nice and cozy feel. Let us know if you need anything as we are nearby and probably have any gizmo you can think of!

The cabin is 6 minutes from I75, which puts it close to many activities and attractions such as:
- Wild Adventures Theme Park,
- Valdosta State University,
- Grand Bay Wildlife Refuge,
- Moody Air Force Base,
and a whole lot more! (See list below).

What is Glamping?
Remember you get the camping experience without carrying heavy equipment, setting up, or breaking down -it's all done for you! All the comforts of Glamorous Camping including Airconditioning, heat, a full kitchen, an outside grill, a fire pit with wood, and more!

Sorry to be so direct but we need potential guests to know this:
We have zero tolerance for marijuana use on our property. Our children play in this yard. To date, medical marijuana use does NOT transfer from state to state and smoking it is illegal in Georgia even with a prescription. We will not put our family or our business at risk.

If you want zero contact check-ins we can do that. We will usually meet you and show you around. The main house has an art studio/game room on the back. If you are interested in art lessons, open studio time, or if you would like to play some competitive ping pong, let us know! We hope you love our place as much as we do!

**We are currently offering our listing at a reduced rate because we are relatively new hosts and we have plans to add much more including an A-frame Treehouse sleeping option and a dome feature to enjoy. - "We have struggled with properties in this area but our experience at this property was top notch. The owners are artists so the space was thoughtfully and beautifully accessorized/decorated. While it was small, every little detail as attended to which made it comfortable. The hosts were amazing-we missed out on the Sunday cinnamon rolls because we had to leave early and I am so very sad. Would TOTALLY recommend this property and hope to stay there again as our son is stationed in Valdosta. Such a cute, clean, and fun property!"

A serene stay awaits you as the beauty of nature overwhelms and true privacy surrounds. Stay in this amazing, secluded log cabin on acres of land, which includes a stocked pond & sparking pool. Just a short drive to I-75 or to town. Gated entrance that leads you down a paved road that opens up to a large, well-maintained lawn & pond with the cabin in the background. The cabin itself has exposed beams & rustic beauty. The wrap-around porch has a lovely view of the pond & pool. Memories Await;)

The space
The property is frequented by wildlife, you may encounter wild turkey, wild hogs and even deer, etc. (Never Alligators). You can also watch the fish, frogs, turtles, and listen to nature at its best! The property has also been visited by a family of crane, many species of songbirds, hummingbirds and of course let's not forget those fussy tail favorites and masked bandits. Oh, and the neighbor cows have also been known to find their way in here in early mornings, if you're lucky you'll see them;)

Our beds feature the 5-star modern 3 sheet method for your peace of mind and comfort:) We have a large Master suite loft with a King size bed including separate sitting/vanity open room. A completely private 2nd bedroom downstairs with a Queen size bed and it's complete with a private bath. A sofa bed in the living room and a Queen size futon in the office/bedroom (3rd Bedroom). Two twin rollaway beds stowed away in the linen closet upstairs. Air mattresses are also available stowed away in the main garage for additional authorized guests.

Guest access
This property is all access property except for the Detached Garage and the area behind it (covered area) not for guest use at this time. The creek access has been blocked at this time. But don't worry, you've got lots of space around the property for exploration and just plain outdoor fun!

A private Sweet Haven for a relaxing time:) Bring your fishing poles...we've got a fully stocked pond! We are also located only 20 minutes from Wild Adventures Theme Park and Water Park!
