- "Wow what a great piece of property! I loved how it was remote and quiet. It had a huge yard for the dog to run and lots of fun activities for my husband & I. The puppy loved swimming in the river and there's so many things to do nearby during the day. The cabin was very nicely remodeled and decorated. The only downside it was dirty. Lots of dust on surfaces & old food stains in microwave. The throw blankets on couch were stinky. But all of those things can be fixed and we'd love to come back! It was an awesome experience. We really enjoyed our stay."

The house sits amongst beautiful clear cut woods with a great view and access to the flowing Withlacoochee River. We were surprised at how clear the river is (even though looks pretty brown on the photos). I heard one mosquito the whole time. We utilized the kayaks and canoe the hosts has for guests and launched north of Madison Blue Springs. Stopped to snorkel and swim at the springs along the way and saw one more clear spring before arriving at the house. For those who like to fish, bring some poles and your bait of choice because the river is full of fish!"

We played corn hole in the yard so it made it a little difficult to not get water after the rain. This newly renovated home has plenty of room for families enjoying some time away together. It's just minutes from the Suwannee River, several state parks and natural springs. Live Oak is a family-friendly community with playgrounds, walking paths and even a disc golf course. Our home has a full kitchen for those who love to cook, but there are also some excellent restaurants nearby when you feel like eating out. This spacious 1,728 Sqft home has 3 BRs and 2 baths. Location is perfect to over 25 area springs and just 13 miles to the Suwannee Music Park. Stores and restaurants are close by. I-10 & I-75 are within 15 minutes.

This property is nestled on 1.2 acres. Recently repainted inside, new LVT flooring, upgraded LED lighting, new beds, fully functional kitchen with everything you need, Smart TVs in LR/MBR, ceiling fan in LR, Wifi, plenty of parking, secure lock for private check-in and washer/dryer.

The backyard is open and cleared with large oak trees. We recently added a new 16x16 backyard deck. You have a table for six on the deck plus outdoor furniture to simply relax. We are in a rural area where neighbors pretty much stay to themselves but we are close to both Live Oak and Lake City. The springs are close by as well as places to eat, shopping and other retail stores.

We floated Ichtucknee the first day of our trip, had about a 50 min ride to the house from Dampiers Landing. Second day, we went to Wild Adventures which was 35 mins away. We had planned to visit a church in Valdosta on our way home which was also 35 mins, but due to circumstances beyond our control were not able to do that. The youth loved the house. They felt comfortable immediately upon walking in. One said it was like visiting a grandparent’s home. The host was amazing. Above and beyond. So many little things were provided. A sign on dining table welcomed us with a tray full of goodies. It was easy to find. Easy access. One of our youth lost her wallet and did not realize until we were 30 mins away. I reached out thru Vrbo. Host was quick to respond. The wallet was found at Wild Adventures, but I was thankful for the quick response. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!"

Set in isolation 800' off the street on a cement driveway, our brick home is conveniently located only 3 miles from Live Oak. It is surrounded by 200+ acres of commercial timberland and old-growth, upland hardwood forest.

On adjacent property we have two additional VRBO homes. Booked together we can host a total of 25 Guests! One is next door (300' away); the other is a 1 mile drive. For more info, search for "Cracker Style Home" and "Inn the Woods" or message us for links to them.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with a modern oven including a flat top range, refrigertaor/freezer with ice maker and water dispenser, microwave oven, dishwasher, traditional drip coffee maker, waffle maker, toaster, steak and preparation knife set, plates, salad bowls, coffee cups, wine glasses, utensils, pots, pans, crock pot, mixer, all sorts of kitchen gadgets, and much more. There is a propane grill under the covered carport.

The formal dining room is down 3 steps from the kitchen and the table seats more than our nine-Guest maximim.

The family room has a 60" HDTV that is 3-D capable with the 3-D glasses if our Guests can find streaming 3-D programming. Sound is through a 5.1 surround system. The TV has a Roku device and is connected to the Internet with our DSL, 25 mbps service. Guests' devices can connect to the service as well. In the family room are two couches, a recliner, two coffee tables and a Daybed so that all Guests can gather and enjoy streaming entertainment together.

There is office space with a work desk, and an all-in-one printer, copier, scanner, and FAX machine.

For sleeping, Catherine's Place has 2 bedrooms with a total of 3 queen beds. The larger bedroom with 2 queen beds also has an HDTV with streaming available through a Roku stick and an in-room, full (shower) bathroom.

The other bedroom is right beside the full (tub/shower/Brondell Bidet) bathroom at the end of the hall and has a unique, built in make-up desk with a large mirror and bright lights!

There is a single, daybed in the family room.

And finally there is a full bed in an area (bedroom 3) that is partitioned from the office space with 7' high backout curtains.

Our home sleeps 9 in beds.

The driveway/carport has space for 2 cars. For any additional vehicles, larger trucks, or those with trailers there is unlimited parking in a marked area alongside the 800' cement driveway just in front of the home.
