You are sure to enjoy yourself in this completely remodeled home. It is located in the town of Monteagle, just a minutes drive from town. You can enjoy the large yard which has a great fire pit area, or you can just set up on the wrap around porch and enjoy the view from there. It is just a short walk down to the lake if you would like to do some fishing.

The house is easily accessible. It is conveniently located 45 minutes from Chattanooga, less that 1 ½ hours drive from Knoxville or Nashville. Our house is just a short walk to the Assembly Grounds and just a few minutes drive to the University of the South located a short drive down the road in Sewanee or St. Andrews School.

The area is known for its beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, creeks, soaring bluffs, and rock outcroppings. The town offers several shops and places to eat. Do take into mind that this is a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of work life. So get ready to relax and enjoy time with your friends and family, the outdoors and nature.

There is a washer and dryer so no worries about running out of clean clothes. A fully equipped kitchen. A smart tv and WIFI. If there are any sport events that you don’t want to miss, you are sure to catch them at the Sewanee Inn, Shenanigans or the Blue Chair. All of these places are just about a 10 minutes drive away.

Nestled in the middle of the woods adjacent to a private, stocked pond, the outdoors spaces will enchant you before even stepping inside. Once you break the spell, the inside will not disappoint. Mountain Thyme is tastefully furnished in well-coordinated and functional pieces, all professionally chosen to enhance your vacation experience.

Mountain Thyme comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests (6 adults max) in 2 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft with bunks (no uncomfortable pull out sofa’s here). The oversized master bedroom is graced by a king-sized, Tempur-pedic mattress and premium linens. The bathroom has a shower, separate tub and makeup area. The guest bedroom downstairs features a queen bed, has dual closets and private access to the outdoors. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs. There is an additional full bathroom on the main floor, which houses the laundry closet complete with a full-size washer and dryer.

The amazing loft has a total of 4 bunk beds and is the perfect retreat for kids (or those young at heart). It features a train table & various toys as well as an old school tabletop arcade game to keep everyone entertained for hours. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a wonderful family meal which can be enjoyed at the farmhouse style dining room table with room to seat everyone. As the evening winds down, the cozy and inviting living room is the perfect spot to relax. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with full cable and you can even access your Netflix, Hulu, or Pandora accounts on the Smart-Enabled BluRay DVD player. And yes, this cabin does have free WI-FI and your cell-phone should work just fine.

Mountain Thyme’s outdoors spaces truly are what make this cabin special. The screened-in porch, located just off the living room, seamlessly blends the indoors and out. Here you can enjoy swinging away those cool fall nights or morning coffee on a warm spring day. The upper porch is a breathtaking vantage point to enjoy the sights and sounds on the pond while lazily relaxing away the day. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a good book in one of the uber-cozy chairs and let yourself be transported to a more relaxing pace of life.

The rear covered porch is as great spot to spy on the abundant wildlife in the woods such as deer, squirrels, raccoons, owls and a multitude of beautiful birds. Or just enjoy the peaceful sounds of rain on the metal roof. Even the side of the house has a covered space that you will appreciate when unloading the car should the weather be inclement.

The inviting fire pit features seating for everyone with adirondack chairs and bench seating is the perfect spot to share campfire stories or just become mesmerized by the dancing flames. Don’t worry about bringing wood, we’ve got that covered too. At some point, you’ll want to make a visit down to our dock on the pond, where a paddle boat awaits your voyage around the pond. Don’t forget to take a moment to feed the catfish (we have food, but they will eat most bread products). Once they have gained your trust, they may even let the adventurous pet them. There are plenty of woods to explore and special little spots to hide out and steal a moment of tranquility.

The best part of Mountain Thyme cabin is that we don’t want you to sweat the small stuff. We want your stay to be as relaxing, comfortable, and as convenient as possible. We include the the little things you typically don’t find in a cabin rental but are appreciated by our guests. Things like dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, salt & pepper, spices, batteries & more. This is our family cabin and we keep it ready to use, so enjoy the convenience of a truly ready-to-rent cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped with mixing bowls, pots, pans, utensils, griddle, blender, waffle maker and everything else you might need to prepare a perfect cabin meal. Also be sure to check the storage room off the back deck where you can find things like life preservers, fire starters, outdoor games like Bocce Ball and other stuff. And if the mood for gardening strikes you, there are tools for that, so have at it!

There are little surprises everywhere so feel free to enjoy everything available to you. Sometimes we will leave you stuff to make s’mores, a bottle of champagne or a 6-pack of beer. Who knows what you will find? We also have a variety of board games perfect for family nights around the table. The arcade game located in the loft features 50 of your favorite classics like Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, DigDug, Frogger & more—and of course it’s free play so no quarters necessary. Our goal is for you to have a wonderful stay and return for years to come. We have tried to think of any and everything you might want during your visit to Mountain Thyme Cabin.

The cabin is easily accessible on good, flat roads just a couple minutes off the Monteagle exits. It is conveniently located less that 1 ½ hours drive from Nashville or Knoxville, 2 Hours from Atlanta and only 45 minutes from Chattanooga. Our cabin is just a few short minutes from the University of the South at Sewanee, St Andrews School, The Assembly Grounds and more. The area is known for its natural beauty, with soaring bluffs, creeks, waterfalls, rock outcroppings and tons of hiking trails to discover these wonderful spots. And if you are looking for nightlife, there a surprising number local dining establishments that are sure to impress. The town of Monteagle has all of the stores you may need plus a variety of shops and artisan markets to peruse. Please note though, this is not like Pigeon Forge. Prepare to relax and enjoy time with your friends and family, the outdoors, nature and just a slower pace of life away from the hustle and bustle.

We are atop the Cumberland Plateau, and our mountain home overlooks a beautiful bluff area. With an expansive view from the dining and living rooms, as well as the primary suite, it`s easy to forget the world below and focus on family, relaxation, and time away from it all.

Guests can access all the main parts of the house. This includes the kitchen and its many amenities, including a refrigerator and freezer, the dining island that seats 6 to 8 people, the dining area that seats 6 to 8, a living room that comfortably seats the same, three lockable bedrooms, two baths, and the laundry facilities. For those working while traveling, the foyer has a built-in desk so you can still be part of the action and not miss a beat. The kitchen island has plenty of space for computers and charging as well.

Netflix is available for TV services/apps. The living room TV is a casting television and will work with your device and app once you download the Vizio app.

Plus: We have an observation deck where you can see nature from a higher vantage point, watch the stars at night, or just sit back on the swing and enjoy the surrounding view of mountains and trees.

We are on a nearby property, so we are available during your stay at the mountain lodge.

The South Cumberland Bluff House is in a quiet neighborhood with only one neighboring house. It`s serene and unique. The home is partially underground, made of area stone on the exterior, with several rooms having local barn wood on the interior. Our family has painstakingly renovated this house and is so happy to share it with others to enjoy.

Additional Guests Info: We charge $10 per person per day for each additional guest beyond the initial two.

There is plenty of parking in the driveway. We are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but there are bike, hiking, and walking trails close by.

The TV in the living room is a `casting television.` This means you can share the TV screen using your phone or device after downloading the app. Netflix and other apps are available on the Smart TV, too.

We like to check in all our guests personally. This allows for any questions to be answered and to provide all the information we can about the lodge. Please text us your ETA and the time you arrive at the interstate exit. We will meet you at the property for check-in. (Remember, we are on CENTRAL Time.) If other accommodations are needed, you will need to make those known before arrival, as well.

We maintain a strict no pet and no smoking policy. Please respect the property by following these rules.

The living room television has a Roku device for easy access to Netflix or other channels you may have access to. We provide Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN+ free of charge. That TV is also `cast` capable and may be used with your smartphone for any subscription, cast-enabled channels you like to watch.

We want you to feel at home. Please find extra pillows, blankets, throws, games, and other items inside the coffee table chest and the closets in your bedroom for your use.

***Remove makeup and staining elements prior to laying in beds or on any linen or cloth surfaces! Stains from make-up, food, drinks, blood or other kinds on linens and towels will result in charge of $50 for stained linen (sheets, pillows, etc) and $10 per stained towel, $8 for hand towel or washcloth.***

If you stain something with blood, please soak towel or linen in COLD water immediately. If something is stained, please let us know so we can help get it washed and avoid permanent staining. If you hide the stained items or fail to tell us, it will result in immediate charges against your deposit. Otherwise, we will work with you to get the stains out.

Other items that are broken will result in a damage charge. You are responsible for broken plates and other dishes, glasses, stemware, etc. and you will be responsible to pay for them through the security deposit for broken and missing items. This applies to household appliances, furniture, and other home decor and accessories.

If you break something, please do not hide it or not tell us. By informing us of lost or broken dishes or items, you are being a good guest and can still receive a positive review.

The pantry contains extra paper towels, disposable drinking cups, and paper plates for your convenience.

The pantry is ready to use and has the microwave on a lower shelf. The freezer is good to store anything may want.

The fireplace in the living room is gas and can be turned on to suit your climate needs. Each bedroom is equipped with an AC unit (during the warmer seasons) and a heater (cooler seasons) for you to use as needed. DO NOT move AC/Heating units.

Both bathrooms have extra towels in the linen closets and other supplies in the same place or under the sink. We are on septic, so please do not flush personal hygiene items.

The door leading to the `basement` at the end of the hall is off-limits.

House is well decorated, comfy, and offers all the amenities you need. Excellent place to just "get away" if you're a couple but could also easily accommodate a large family or group. Be sure to visit Foster Falls to swim, Blue Chair Bakery for great coffee and breakfast, and across the street there's Lunch (that's the name, lunch only!)."

Tucked Inn is fully furnished and features three bedrooms, and two bathrooms (with heated floors), a fully furnished kitchen, upstairs living room with large screen TV, a sunroom that is just perfect for afternoon naps, and 1,000 square feet of porches and decks. Bedroom 3 has it's own entrance with a small porch and large double doors looking onto the upper deck. You'll also find a relaxing hot tub on the lower deck. Central heat and air is provided as well as a wood burning stove with plenty of firewood that provides warmth and ambiance on those cold winter nights. Wireless Internet is available.
Our guests are encouraged to enjoy our garden cottage, "Sunny Side Up". It is a lovely place to just hang out and enjoy a good book or catch a nap. The back porch of the cottage cantilevers over a forest area where deer and other forest animals have been spotted. A covered pavilion is also located near the cabin.
We hope our guests will enjoy the out of doors while visiting Tucked Inn. Hiking, walking, and biking trails are located on the property and it's always fun to sit around our large fire pit after a fun filled day in the mountains! Plenty of firewood is on hand for use in the fire pit.
Tucked Inn is located only 8 miles from the heart of Monteagle with easy access to I-24. The University of the South at Sewanee is located only minutes from Tucked Inn.

"Mountain View" is a cozy house that features the best view on scenic Monteagle Mountain. This comfortable, 2850 square feet mountain house was built in 2001 and is newly decorated. It is nestled on 5.5 acres, overlooking a dramatic 2000 foot view in Clifftops - between Sewanee and Monteagle, Tennessee. There are 900 added square feet of porch, both screened and open, a vast great room with open kitchen is an exceptional gathering place with vaulted ceiling, large stone, wood-burning fireplace, multiple seating areas and stereo with built-in speakers.

There are four bedrooms, sleeping a total of 8 people in beds. Two bedrooms are on each side of the great room. One bedroom is a master with private porch, queen bed, ceiling fan and master bath with whirlpool tub and luxury shower. A second bedroom overlooking the mountain view has a double bed and bath. The third bedroom has twin beds and bath. The fourth bedroom, also overlooking the mountain, has a double bed. There is a sofa-bed in the great room and there are 3 air mattresses.

A large, open modern kitchen has new gas stove and range and every convenience and is open to the great room. Hardwood floors are throughout and ceiling fans are in the great room and on the porches.

The home is an ideal place to relax and gaze at the mountain view which is dramatic four seasons of the year. Mountainview is located in a community called Clifftops, which has abundant wildlife, walking trails, and a quick walk to tennis, basketball, swimming and a swing set, which are directly next to the property. There are two club houses and a beautiful lake for swimming.

If you are unfamiliar with Monteagle Mountain, it is one of the most stunning natural areas of the Cumberland Plateau, designated nationally as a "bio-gem" because of its rich diversity of wildlife, trees, birds and other species.

Nearby Savage Gulf State Park has ample hiking and gorgeous more fabulous wildlife.

There are several award-winning restaurants, coffee houses and sandwich shops close by, and mountain shopping with crafts, pottery and antiques. The home is just 5 miles from the campus of the University of the South at Sewanee where there are numerous activities including the Sewanee Summer Music Festival.

About the kitchen: From kitchen aid mixers, to an oven that shows the exact temperature as it climbs to destination w a toaster convection feature, we carry pamper chef and la Creusent cookware for great cooking experience. We wanted to make all guests happy so we have a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig all in one! The dishwasher even opens up slightly when complete so the dishes dry appropriately. The kitchen island is to die for- you can buffet style the food and the dining room table sits 10 whiffle there are several additional chairs to sit 11 & 12 or you can sit 10 comfortably outside just 30 feet away at an oversized table under covered deck.

3 living rooms! 3x 70 inch TV’s, play rooms, living rooms w one upstairs w a super surround sound system made by Harmon Kardon. There is DVD players attached to all but the best part is the 20+ foot couch upstairs that you will think is heaven... many guests end up sleeping on this couch bc it’s amazing!!! But I haven’t even mentioned the game systems for the kids!! And the legit play cabin for the smaller kids! Wow! 3-4 game systems like rea arcade style but you don’t need quarters to play!!!

For guests needing to get work complete, we have 3 small desks and did I mention one gig Internet, the fastest in the United States?! So make sure you hook up your devices to the Wi-Fi and experience the fastest Internet in the United States.

Regarding outdoor living for all the family: Plenty of space, private garage & more. Don’t forget to take the garage door opener w you if you leave And definitely don’t forget to return it! Also you can use our Weber Weber charcoal grill and we keep plenty of lighter fluid on site just can’t guarantee the amount of charcoal available but alas the grocery store called Piggly Wiggly is just 4 miles away giving you the comfort of knowing that food and extra items are nearby. All new appliances and wood floors downstairs. Carpet upstairs and game room also!

We supply fresh linens for wonderful sleep and you can wash them during your stay if you’d like bc we have washer and dryer Right off the master bedroom with plenty of laundry detergent and bleach (for whites only). We also supply towels and rags and shampoo and conditioner but for longer stays, please bring more for 4 day plus visits as we supply this just to make it a bit easier.

Don’t forget to walk Perimeter Trail at Sewanee University for amazing views and cool caves and Mountain Goat Trail for al your running biking and hiking experiences!

This is a quiet neighborhood, and there are no immediate neighbors close to the cabin. The bluff is a 30-second walk down the road, and the street is a great place to walk or run.

We are 7 minutes from Interstate 24 and a mile from the Mountain Goat Trail, where folks run, walk, bike, and rollerblade. We are within 30-45 minutes of some incredible waterfalls, along with world-class sites and hiking.

We do charge $10 per night/guest over the initial two registered guests.

We like to check in all our guests personally. This allows for any questions to be answered and to provide all the information we can about the lodge. You are required to text us your ETA and when you arrive at the interstate exit so we can meet you at the property for check-in. If other accommodations are needed, you will need to make those known prior to arrival, as well.

We maintain a strict no pet and no smoking policy. Please respect the property by following these rules.

The living room television has a Roku device for easy access to Netflix or other channels you may have access to. We provide Netflix, Hulu, and ESPN+ free of charge.

We want you to feel at home. Please find extra pillows, blankets, throws, games, and other items inside the chest and the closets in your bedroom for your use.

***Remove makeup and staining elements prior to laying in beds or on any linen or cloth surfaces! Stains from make-up, food, drinks, blood, or other kinds on linens and towels will result in a charge of $50 for stained linen (sheets, pillows, etc) and $10 per stained towel, $8 for hand towel or washcloth.***

If you stain something with blood, please soak the towel or linen in COLD water immediately. If something is stained, please let us know so we can help get it washed and avoid permanent staining. If you hide the stained items or fail to tell us, it will result in immediate charges against your deposit. Otherwise, we will work with you to get the stains out.

Other items that are broken will result in a damage charge. You are responsible for broken plates and other dishes, glasses, stemware, etc. and you will be responsible for paying for them through the security deposit for broken and missing items. This applies to household appliances, furniture, and other home decor and accessories.

If you break something, please do not hide it or not tell us. By informing us of lost or broken dishes or items, you are a good guest and can still receive a positive review.

The kitchen contains extra paper towels, disposable drinking cups, and paper plates for your convenience.
Please use the AC/Heat responsibly. If you are leaving for the day, there is no reason to run the AC lower just to cool the space you are not using. Be considerate of the environment and our property.

Both bathrooms have extra towels in the linen closets and other supplies in the same place or under the sink. We are on septic, so please do not flush personal hygiene items.

Our cottage has a tiny home feel. Entrance for Teddy Bear is through the bedroom. The bedroom has a full size bed. The space is a bit tight. From the bedroom there is a small bathroom off the hallway and then you will find the kitchen and living space area with ample room. Our space sleeps 2 comfortably.

Our Smokey the Bear Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed. The space comfortably sleeps two people, however, two more could easily sleep in the living room with a sofabed we've added to the space. The sofabed is great for lounging during the day, but can easily be converted to sleeping arrangements for two. The unit has a kitchen equipped with basic kitchen supplies including a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and storage space. There is one bathroom in this cottage. The bathroom includes a vanity space, toilet, and shower/tub combo.

Each bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed, along with private half bathroom, featuring a private vanity and toilet. A Jack and Jill room with a shower connects the two bedrooms. There are pocket doors on both sides ensuring privacy and ease of access.

The back bedroom offers an added bonus—a dedicated workspace complete with a desk, ideal for remote work or study sessions.

Our spacious kitchen is a highlight, perfect for preparing meals and gathering with other members of your travel group. Please note there is no oven or dishwasher provided in this cottage. You will notice rather than having a full stove top there is a small electric top built in to one of the cupboards with two eyes.

Welcome to Serenity by the Falls! Located in the Retreat at Deer Lick Falls in beautiful Monteagle, Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau. This tiny home features rustic decor and is set into a wooded lot. You'll enjoy: Coffee (Keurig), TVs for evening movies, Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, single use bathroom amenities, charging stations for electronics, firepit with Adirondack chairs, hammocks, a huge deck with bluetooth speakers, porch swing, dining table and gas grill!

The space
This tiny home feels like a home away from home! You'll cozy into the living room with an electric fireplace, a spacious couch, and kitchen island stools for morning coffee. The kitchen features a microwave, stove, and full fridge. You'll also be able to make coffee! The hall features cute bunk beds with twin size mattresses and a washer/dryer combo so you can do some laundry after exploring nature or the waterfall. The master bedroom has a queen bed and TV and a sliding door to be able to enjoy privacy! The full bathroom has a shower/tub combo.

Where you'll surely want to spend all your time is outdoors. The massive porch and deck features swings, couches, chairs, and dining areas. You'll also love the Adirondack chairs around the firepit to enjoy s'mores and a night by the fire!

We are about a 20-25 minute drive to the Caverns. We also have a concierge that will shuttle you and your group to the Caverns for a fee. If you are interested, please let us know so we can help coordinate.

Thanks for understanding as it's a large administrative load to coordinate with cleaners and inspectors, and have cleaners move their whole schedule around to accommodate.

Bear Hollow is only a 45 minute drive from Chattanooga as well if you are looking for a fun day trip!

Our Grizzly Bear Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other with queen bunkbeds. The space comfortably sleeps 6 people, however, two more could easily sleep in the living room with a sofa bed we've added to the space. The sofa bed is great for lounging during the day, but can easily be converted to sleeping arrangements for two. The unit has a kitchen equipped with basic kitchen supplies including a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and storage space. There is limited cupboard space in this unit, so we added an island to the space that works for storing more kitchenwares, as well as providing space for people to sit. This cottage has two bathrooms. Please keep in mind, this cottage is considered a tiny home, so the bathroom is on the smaller side. The bathroom includes a vanity space, shower/tub, and toilet.

The space
This beautiful Log Cabin offers comfort with a quiet setting and a porch swing! Boasting spacious rooms, a comfy living area, a grill space, and a private yard, it's only a short drive to small-town friendliness. With a fire pit, picnic table, and room to run and play, it's packed with amenities and ready for your next getaway. Take a walk on the Mountain Goat Trail or go to one of several fabulous eateries in Monteagle. Just a few minutes more and you can be in Sewanee or at The Caverns from this great location. It's only 7 miles from Monteagle and only 15-20 minutes from Sewanee and The Caverns. World-renowned hiking is only 10 minutes away at the Fiery Gizzard and a mile from the Mountain Goat Trail. Located 1.25+ hrs. from Nashville and 1 hr. from Chattanooga. We have driveway space for your trailer, and the Coalmont OHV Park is just a few minutes up the road.

This log home boasts a super comfortable loft with a queen-sized futon. Complete with Wifi, this is a great space to catch up on some work or study for that next exam, or just settle down with a good book. Downstairs has a TV and a wonderful sofa for kicking back. In a small duplex on a rural road just 2 miles from downtown Monteagle, you are centrally located to some of the best hiking and waterfall searching in Tennessee!

The space
After arrival, sit for a few minutes on the front porch and enjoy the tree canopy. Using your private entrance (marked "A") type your 4-digit entry code onto the keypad followed by the unlock button (located under the keyhole and labeled "ultraloq"). Open the door to a bright and open main living space with comfortable seating, games, a smart T.V., dining/game table, and full kitchen. A washer and dryer are located in the utility closet in the kitchen/dining area. Exit out the back kitchen door to a deck and spend some time savoring the wooded landscape. Next, check out the bedrooms and decide who sleeps where. The primary bedroom boasts a comfortable queen bed, room-darkening curtains, an alarm clock with a phone charging station, reading corner, smart T.V., and a large closet. The secondary bedroom houses a bunkbed, desk area, crayons and coloring books, picture books, nightlight/sound machine, large closet, and a window that looks out onto the fire ring.

As a guest, you will have access to the entire Side A unit, which includes an open living room, kitchen and dining area, as well as 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, the front porch, back deck, yard, and private fire ring.

The Side B unit is my own family's personal retreat space. We are here monthly to escape the city and enjoy the great outdoors. Our personal favorites are The Mountain Goat Market for eating and coffee, Mooney's for organic grocery items and eclectic/artisan gifts, The Dutch Maid Bakery in Tracy City for baked goods, Rosie's Farmhouse Kitchen for a big, country, breakfast, the Mountain Goat Trail between Monteagle and Sewanee for biking, the hike to Foster Falls, Sycamore Falls, and the Grundy Day Loop (part of the Fiery Gizzard).

Our Paddington Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed. The space comfortably sleeps two people, however, two more could easily sleep in the living room with a sofa bed we've added to the space. The sofa bed is great for lounging during the day, but can easily be converted to sleeping arrangements for two. The unit has a kitchen equipped with basic kitchen supplies including a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and storage space. There is one bathroom in this cottage. The bathroom includes a vanity space, toilet, and shower/tub combo.

Our favorite feature of the Pddington Cottage is spacious deck! Perfect for outdoor dining, or simply enjoying the fresh air. All guests are welcome to walk and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful grounds on the Bear Hollow property!

The space
The cabin is 1625 sq feet. When you walk in the front door you are in the great room that faces out onto the porch and the view. The dining area is in this room with a very well stocked kitchen. One bedroom with ensuite bathroom (which has some handicap features like grab bars and shower stool) is on this level. Upstairs there's a queen bed in the loft and off that room is the bunk beds and a master bathroom. In the loft is also a desk and ergonomic chair for working with a great view of the ridge. Outside under the wood shed is a charcoal grill. Fire pit is on the terrace with a table and chairs for eating. Great view from the terrace as well. There's a carport for guest use. There's a standby generator in case of power outage - that is, the power will never go out. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms throughout.

Our Winnie Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed. The space comfortably sleeps two people, however, two more could easily sleep in the living room with a daybed we've added to the space. The daybed is great for lounging during the day, but can easily be converted to sleeping arrangements for two. The unit has a kitchen equipped with basic kitchen supplies including a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and ample storage space. This cottage has one bathroom. Please keep in mind, this cottage is considered a tiny home, so the bathroom is on the smaller side. The bathroom includes a vanity space, toilet, standing shower, and several cupboards for storage.

Sisters Point is a beautiful bluff front cabin perfect for getting away from it all. Situated on a very quiet tree lined street just 1 mile from Monteagle and 5 miles from Sewanee. Within a 15-30 min drive to numerous local attractions to include The Caverns, Bonnaroo Music Festival, Fiery Gizzard, University of the South, Dutch Maid Bakery, Greeter Falls and Stone Door, numerous arts and crafts fairs and music festivals throughout the year.

This Bluff House offers privacy and comfort with a million-dollar view and peaceful surroundings! Boasting spacious rooms, a comfy living area, a grill space with a view to die for, and an incredible observation deck, it's only a short drive to small-town friendliness. With a fire pit next to a breathtaking view and room to run and play, it's packed with amenities and ready for your next getaway. Take a walk (or bike ride) on the Mountain Goat Trail or go to one of several fabulous eateries in Monteagle. Just a few minutes more and you can be in Sewanee or at The Caverns from this great location. We have driveway space for your trailer, and the Coalmont OHV park is just a few minutes up the road.

We are atop the Cumberland Plateau, and our mountain home overlooks a beautiful forested valley. With an expansive view from the dining and living rooms, as well as the master suite, it's easy to forget the outside world and focus on family, relaxation, time away from it all, or a change of scenery for work. It's a place good for couples, families, retreats, adventurers, business or pleasure travelers, and groups, which is only an hour's drive to Chattanooga and slightly more to get to Nashville.

Guests can access all the main parts of the house. Three bedrooms, two baths, living room, and kitchen, as well as a desk.

Netflix is available for T.V. services/apps.

The observation deck is available to you.

Other things to note
The T.V. in the living room is a "casting television." This means that you can use your phone or device to share the T.V. screen after you have downloaded the Vizio app to your phone.

The master bedroom fireplace is no longer in service due to smoke and other issues. Please, do not ask and do not use.
