I am an overpacked and disabled so be prepared to Pack lightly if you have issues with mobility. There are carts to use to get luggage and supplies to and from the boat thank goodness. I wish I Could have stayed a whole week or forever! The host was extremely flexible and accommodating. I can’t wait to come back."

This historical 1700’s cabin has been upgraded to fit your needs for an amazing vacation of entertainment and relaxation. Only a 20 min drive from Nashville and just 5 minutes from local shopping and food. Our cabin is the perfect mix of city and country. It is located on a 5 acre shared estate. We encourage our guests to enjoy the creek and pavilion during during their stay. Early morning or evening hours are perfect for listening to the birds sing or watching the deer graze. We have placed a couple of hammocks at the creek for afternoon napping or creek side book reading. There are also some great sitting stones and a couple of benches for your enjoyment as well. The cabin has all your basic needs and is fully stocked with all the linens (towels and bedding) and cooking supplies one could need. Access to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom is via a ladder/style staircase. It’s steep but has handrails for your assistance. On the second floor you have a very large master with en suite bathroom, a stand up shower and closet. Basic shower soaps provided. The bedroom has a small sitting space and has been outfitted with a queen bed. There is ample natural light in the cabin and a cozy back porch. The porch faces a shared quart yard space between this cabin and a small cottage but each guest also has their own yard space. We are also conveniently located near a new park/coffee house “Legacy Park” and just a 5 min drive from interstate access to explore all the local fun. Full kitchen, living & dining room, full bath (large soaking tub with shower nozzle) and laundry on main level. Stone fireplace with gas logs add to the warmth and ambiance. This cabin is one of 4 structures that originally existed on this property. Much of the property that encompasses the entire Cash Mountain subdivision was developed by Builder to the Stars, Braxton Dixon for June and Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Tricia Yearwood and others. Two of the structures on this piece of property were destroyed by fire and all that remains are the fireplaces with the “heart” motif signifying development by Braxton Dixon.

We, the homeowners, live upstairs with our two dogs. You may occasionally hear us moving around, but we do our best to keep things quiet and will always respect your privacy.

The master bath has both a standing shower and a jacuzzi tub. Both bathrooms are equipped with cool high-tech lighted (and heated for steam) mirrors. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances, and had everything we needed (bacon, eggs and coffee) after a long road trip! Oh, and there’s a dog park literally 4 houses down the street! The only thing missing was maybe more comfortable seating in the living room, if the whole family wants to watch a movie. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there."

Our Cottage is surrounded by woods and wildlife , it is very quiet and peaceful. You can drive 30 minutes to downtown Nashville ( if normal traffic) and The Grand Ole Opry. We are only minutes from shopping ,with many great restaurants, and a movie theater at The Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville TN. We are only 15 minutes to Old Hickory Lake for some of the best fishing in the state. Or maybe you would rather hang at the cottage and cook your own food. We have 60 inch TV with Wifi and Roku in both TV's. Our Cottage is furnished with all you need to cook, except for the food. There is a gas grill. A great coffee station, With a Kuering coffee maker with pods, also a Mr Coffee with a grinder. We live separate house on the same property. The Cozy Cottage is our guest house. We want to make your stay as comfy as possible! There is a high Quality King Size mattress and TV in the Huge master bedroom. We have central Air Conditioning/Heat Pump. Once our guest leave we replace ALL bed linens and wash all rugs and towels!! I am a clean fanatic!! We treat others how we would want to be treated,please do the same! The Suite is located in Spring Haven Mansion, circa 1825, and is part of the original kitchen and dogtrot, and is a very unique space. The Suite includes a bedroom with queen bed, sunroom, bathroom, and kitchen. Enjoy watching the sunset from the sunroom, walking the beautiful grounds, picnicking, or relaxing by the creek. Please note there are stairs as seen in the photos. Spring Haven is less than 23 miles from downtown Nashville, 28 miles from Nashville International Airport, and is close to beautiful Old Hickory Lake. There may be small weddings during your stay. They are usually by the creek or in front of the mansion.

This is a simple place to stay with a fantastic view just outside your door. The garage has been renovated into a detached guest room, complete with a full bathroom. You also have access to the yard for your pets. Please note that the bed will not be made upon your arrival, but linens will be provided, and the couch will be set up. The main area is 126 square feet (14x9)
Note: The WiFi signal is weak indoors, and you may need to be outside for it to work properly.

The couch-bed seemed better to sleep on as a couch than as a bed, as the thin mattress topper did not fully pad from the bars of the bed, but for one person traveling and looking to save money, this would be fine. Walkable to restaurants, gas stations and pontoon rental. Short Uber/lyft ride to downtown Hendersonville and Nashville. Quiet, charming and safe complex with ample parking and access to a pool! I contacted the owner about the smell, she adamantly denied having mold, said she checked the unit herself. She also said she has been renting this unit for 5 years and no one had complained before. In my opinion, if someone has a problem, they have a problem. Do not make excuses about previous tenants and not having problems before. I'm located 1 mile from interstate 386 and 25 mins from downtown Nashville. My upstairs has a large master bedroom with a private bathroom and bonus room. Bonus room has a large big screen tv. I provide towels, wash cloths, linens, pillows, and wifi. My house is kept very clean. Limited kitchen privileges. You're more than welcome to use the refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and air fryer. I also have a keurig coffee maker with pods. Shopping and restaurants within a few miles.

The area is in the heart of the village with a coffee shop around the corner and karaoke bar across the way. Our location is an easy 20 minute drive to downtown Nashville. This little area has much to offer as shown in the attached photos. A comfortable place to come home to after a busy day exploring.

The space
The studio apartment is a large cozy and comfortable room with a private bath, fully stocked kitchen nook and private entrance. It offers a pleasant decor, lots of fluffy towels and a flat screen tv. This location has a small porch with table and chairs to enjoy your meal outside or if you just want to take a minute and smoke . You will also have your own private driveway to the left of your entrance.

The house itself is attached to a stone fronted Historical Bldg in the Village of Old Hickory. You will park to the left of the small porch located at the right side of the building. You will enter through the door marked 527. The key lock box is directly across from the door. I will provide you with the combination the day of your arrival.

To really see the best of the area you will be staying in I would recommend a drive along the lakeside. When you leave the apartment turn left at the front of the building .... keep left and go in front of the Community Center and Fire Station ..... turn right on to Hadley and go to 10th. ...... turn left on 10th and take it all the way .... turn right on Riverside Drive and take it all the way to Dabbs Ave where you will turn left ..... and left again at 22nd. This will take you to Lakeshore Avenue. Complete your ride by the lake until it takes you back out to Old Hickory Blvd. This drive will give you a true picture of the area that you are staying in. This is a simple place to stay with a fantastic view just outside your door. The garage has been renovated into a detached guest room, complete with a full bathroom. This trendy room with private entrance is one mile away from the lake and two boat docks with picnic areas by the docks , where you can swim, fish, relax in a hammock , play sports on the grass. It’s no wonder it’s named The City By The Lake! It’s near the freeway , approximately 5 min drive , near Streets Of Indian Lake shops , trendy restaurants theatre. In the summer it offers free music in the outdoor amphitheater . It’s conveniently 20 min from Nashville :)

The space
This is a one large bedroom with a king size bed but a child is welcome if they can share the king size bed or sleep in their own sleeping bags. Also I can provide a foldout single size cot if necessary. Please let me know in advance :)There is no breakfast provided . There is a coffee machine and coffee pods and a small fridge and a microwave . There is a shower and a bathtub and a walk in closet . I do have two small dogs that have a dog door which they use to come in and out of , on their own . However the yard is divided in two by a wire fence so your pets are separate from mine and free to go outside :)
Also please make sure your pets are free of ticks and fleas :)

This bespoke home is located across from Harbor Island, the only island on Old Hickory Lake. Launch boats for free and stroll in the park across the street. Go just 5 minutes to reach another park with an actual beach, plus volleyball and grills.

It’s roughly 25 minutes from the nashville international airport. There are rental cars at the airport and Lyft & Uber pick up and drops off at our house along with Taxi’s.

From the lake it’s roughly a half hour to downtown as well.

The basement level of a lakefront house has been converted into a lovely cabin with two electric fireplaces, two comfortable beds, including a separate sleeping room with a full bathroom attached, a desk/work area, a kitchen and dining area. One bed has a private bedroom. The other bed shares a space with the living area and kitchen. The houses in this area near Avondale, sit up on a hill; this house sits about 300 feet from the lake shore.

Guest access
The owners, who stay upstairs, are good friends of mine and will always be glad to help when needed, but the way the property is set up you probably won't ever see them, and they are very respectful of your privacy and work hard to stay out of your way.

Other things to note
Beautiful lake view is through the trees; the setting has a state park type setting. The property is about a football field's length from the lake shore.

If you need to bring a trailer with you, please ask for approval prior to arrival.

The rest of the home is rented. You will have complete privacy. The only shared spaces are the driveway, yard and laundry room. Most people are OK with this setup. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the best fit for you. Since this unit is under another.

You have access to the property's shared laundry room.  Your door closes and locks on your side of door for privacy. We ask that you do not do any laundry between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. This is to be courteous of other guests.
If you have the windows or doors open, please do not run the air conditioner or the heater.

There may be laundry in the dryer. This is because the housekeeper works to get the unit ready as soon as possible for your potential early arrival. If you need to use the dryer, simply take the pile of clean laundry and set it to the side. There is no reason for you to fold the laundry. Please don't use towels or sheets that are left in the dryer. There will be plenty available to you for your use during your stay.

*Here's what's provided for your boating experience: one canoe, three oars,
one paddle board, one oar and life jackets. Please note that these items are not officially listed as part of the house's amenities. They are additional items provided for guests to enjoy and may be subject to outdoor conditions.

*You must acknowledge that you if you bring the canoe to the Lake, it weighs 100 pounds, and have to carry it about the length of a Football field.

*Please note that the chairs located in the backyard are part of the outdoor area and are subject to natural elements. While we do not have a dedicated maintenance team for the outdoor furniture, we strive to provide a comfortable environment for our guests.

*There is a cute cuddly lovable dog on premises. You can pet him, as he loves people and is very friendly. Or I can keep him totally away from you. It's your choice. It won't hurt my feelings if you are not a dog person. Let me know in advance and I can provide a close to dog free experience for you.

$200 per month utilities are collected in advance separate from the reservation for any stays 30 days or longer. This covers high-speed internet, water and sewer, trash, electric, and gas. This money is collected by the host through the Airbnb app before your reservation begins.

Please be advised that maintenance will do routine lawn care (mowing, weed eating, insect treatments, etc.) and may be scheduled at any time during your stay. It could be done on the porch, right outside your window, right outside guest's outside doors. We will not call and tell you they are coming. They will never need to enter the house.

Please note that when reporting maintenance issues, it's important to be responsive and cooperative to help resolve the matter quickly, especially if access to the house is required for repairs.

Occasionally, packages may be delivered to the property to assist with its maintenance and upkeep. In rare instances, we may kindly ask you to bring a package inside for safekeeping. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure the home remains in great condition.

It has original heart pine flooring that’s been refurbished.
They are creaky in certain seasons.

The home does sit in a small historic community so there are neighbors with adjoining lots .

The neighborhood is very safe but as for anywhere, we do recommend locking car doors

Use of Paddle Boards and Kayaks must be able to carry them down to the water and place them back under the deck when finished with help. Could you rinse them off with a hose under the deck?

Rainwater and runoff originating within the Old Hickory Lake watershed flow into a controlled segment of the Cumberland River, forming what is now known as Old Hickory Lake—a reservoir established by an Army Corps of Engineers dam in 1954. This reservoir and its surrounding watershed are dedicated to the memory of the nation’s seventh president, Andrew Jackson, affectionately nicknamed Old Hickory. Located just 15 miles from Nashville, Old Hickory Lake is a haven for various recreational pursuits such as camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, cycling, and more.

There are two bedrooms. One bedroom had a king adjustable bed. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with a full size mattress on the bottom and a twin size on the top.

I have a Chromecast preloaded with the popular streaming apps. I don't have any local channels but if you can watch them with a live TV subscription with Hulu. I also have Hi speed internet with Xfinity and surround sound great for a night in with a good action movie.

Across the street from the lake in a quiet neighborhood, 0.8 miles from the late Johnny Cash’s property, where you can retreat to after touring around the city or there’s plenty to see in the local Hendersonville area. A deluxe suite with a full bath, queen sized bed, walk in closet, and kitchenette. Offered is the one bedroom suite with only access door to the driveway from the home. We look forward to your stay!

We live on a cornered lot. We have made what was the attached garage into a guest suite. It has it’s own access to outside towards the driveway so you would not need to go through the main house.
