~The boat will be kept at our docks on the bayside of the street. You can easily walk or drive to the dock. It will start with a full tank of fuel and need to be full when it is returned or we can fill it for you for $25 per quarter of a tank on the guage.~
~It's a 10 passenger boat. Basic, adult, orange, life jackets will be provided. Please bring children's life jackets.~
~No need to reserve in advance unless you want it during a time it's not included.~

~Contact me once you have arrived to set up a time to meet the following morning to sign the waiver and view the boat~ Not everyone uses the pontoon so if you do not contact me once you have arrived I will assume you don't want the boat and I will go on with my day. Please call or text me the evening prior to you taking the boat out to set up a meeting time.~

Come visit this beautiful log home on Lake Barkley with extensive decking overlooking the lake and the Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreational Area. The cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, laundry, sun room/reading room, and central heat and air. Main level bed room has a queen size bed. The upstairs, bay side, bedroom also has a queen bed. The upstairs, channel side, bedroom has a king size bed and also has an additional reading room with a twin size bed.

The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably. Boating, fishing, swimming, and sunbathing are just out the back door. Nearby you can find horseback riding, go for a bike ride, or get wild and crazy on your ATV at Turkey Creek in LBL. Traveling west to Aurora, you will find Kentucky Lake State Park, host of the Hot August Blues Festival. Head east to Cadiz, home of the Trigg County Ham Festival, and you will find several antique shops, 2 nearby golf courses, tennis courts, walking trails, and much much more.

This log cabin is situated on the main lake with fabulous views year round and is conveniently located less than a mile from the main highway (US 68/80). Although no dock permits are granted on the main channel; the public boat ramp is just a mile down the road with very easy access. I also have dock access at the end of the street.

Wi-Fi is provided. Verizon and AT&T work well inside and out. To the best of my knowledge, all cell carriers work outside the cabin.

If you need anything at all, I live at the end of the street and will do my best to make your stay at the lake an enjoyable one!

Included with your stay is a 5 person pass to the fitness center at nearby Lake Barkley State Park. This is a great place to unwind after a long day of sight seeing or a great place to take the kids on a rainy day. They offer racquetball, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, free weights, treadmills, nautilus machines, and workout classes. Passes are by request after you arrive.

Rates are based on an 8 person occupancy, additional guests are $25 per person per night.

Holidays require a minimum 4 night reservation.

With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. June, July, and August have what is called a Mayfly hatch occasionally, they do not bite and are good for fishing.

FAQS:

 No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet.

 There is room for 4-5 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.

 Free wifi is provided. It is sometimes slow and unreliable but is the best we have in our area.

 ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.

 The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs.

 There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.

 The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.

 Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.

 The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.

 The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please
excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.

 The steps on the deck will lead you all the way to the shoreline.

 The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.

 The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.

 Yes, you can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply.

 You can use any of the 3 docks on the bayside at the end of the street. Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy.
• We have 6 pontoon boats and 4 jet skis available for rent. They are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance, our rental site is enjoylakebarkley.com (Click on boats). The boats are always docked at our COVERED dock. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from sunrise to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified.
We need a credit card to hold for the additional boat deposit of $300. If you are staying during the promotional period then you can ignore the rental statement.

Boat rental is seasonal, May-September

• No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. We do not offer half day rentals.

 I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city. Hancocks Neighborhood Market is about 12 miles away and the best of our two local options.

Fireplace is for looks only and is NOT functional.

We also have 2 kayaks available. $25 daily each. Kayaks are to be returned before dark to my covered dock

The Hot tub and Pool are offsite and comes as a part of the complimentary pass to the Lake Barkley State Park.

Our home sits right on beautiful Lake Barkley, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, please note that there is no traditional beach or cleared waterfront access directly on the property. While you may be able to wade into the water, lake access from the property is partial and can be impacted by weather—especially after storms, which may wash logs and natural debris onto the shoreline.

Guest Access:
Single-level home - You will have access to the entire home, the driveway, backyard, and the dock with 1 boat slip and lifts except for the loft sleeping area and the steps leading down to the lake

The Neighborhood:
This is a very family and pet friendly neighborhood. About as peaceful as them come. Please respect the neighbors.

The cabin is very close to the water, there is a fishing dock and boat ramp 5 min away, and Prizer point is only takes 10 min get there. If you are looking for a lakeside, noisy family campground, this place is not it. We went out every day and appreciated coming back to peace and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are wonderful. We had two small dogs and one of the best things is this cabin is pet friendly! We definitely will stay here again. The only problem with this great review is that we hope White Oak Ridge Cabins don't get so popular we can't get in!!!!!"

This cabin is a perfect getaway for the nature lovers, nestled on a beautiful wooded 15 acres, with stunning views of the rolling hills and valleys. You will see a variety of wildlife from squirrels, turkeys and grazing deer; four-bedroom cabin-sleeps up to 10 guests (There is a 3-day minimum stay on this cabin.) first floor has 1- King sized bed, 1-Queen sized bed, 1 set of hand built twin bunk beds with ample headspace for adults to sleep in and the upstairs loft bedroom has 1-Full sized bed with a twin sized pullout trundle Bed and another twin sized bed. Cabin was hand built with gorgeous woodworking and customization, with a beautiful, covered front and back porch.

The woodworking is all from material found here on the property and hand shaped by a local woodworker. Everything about this cabin feels of a rustic, serene getaway in the beautiful rolling hills and valleys.

- "This was the perfect place for a group of 5 friends to stay while on a trip to eat at 8 Cracker Barrel restaurants over 2 days. The cabin was clean, warm, dry, and comfortable. It was exactly as described. There was a nice firepit in the back to drink a beer, smoke a cigar, and discuss why anyone in their right mind would want to eat at 5 cracker barrels in the same day. It's not the Four Seasons, but we weren't paying for the Four Seasons. We were paying for a place to rest our carb filled bodies for a night after eating at 5 different Cracker Barrels. We woke up and knocked out 3 more on our way home to central KY. Thank you Tony for a great stay!"
