The barn is a complete, cozy cottage located on a beautiful, wooded 2 acres.

Enjoy complete privacy including a two person Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, queen size bed, complete kitchen (stocked with breakfast foods), covered porch with swing and gas grill.

A beautiful in ground swimming pool is located on the property. You are invited to swim, weather permitting.

There are no pets allowed. However, you can meet our small flock of laying hens and our rooster. We have fresh eggs daily.

The apple trees, grapes, cherries, pears and service berries are an invitation to the white tail deer to visit and partake daily. Bird watching is also a favorite sport.

Louisville area attractions are within 15 minutes of our property, including Churchill Downs, the KFC Yum! Center, 4th Street Live, Historic Old Louisville and the St. James Art Fair as well as an abundance of other wonderful attractions and events in our fabulous city.

Everything is meticulously kept from the drive pulling up, to the "barn", yard it is just absolutely beautiful place. Everything in listing is true including the breakfast stocked for you which in itself is an amazing touch. I LOVED being able to talk to the "girls" (hens) every morning and evening just like I do my "girls" at home. Located convenient to everything especially Waverly Hills which is what we were down for. They have TONS of books and magazines on the area and KY in general so if you are at a loss of things to do it is YOUR fault so many great ideas! Their book of "faves" as far as dinning options are SPOT ON and I will second the suggestion of Marks Feed Store that food is INCREDIBLE probably the BEST brisket I have ever had and their Burgoo OH MY LANTA I didn't know that Burgoo was a "thing" let me tell you not only is it a "thing" but it is an INCREDIBLE "thing" that I HIGHLY recommend! Marquetta and Jerry are fantastic and I will be staying with them any time that I am back in the area just the 2 of us. This place is just fantastic and I would give it 10 stars if I could. Our 950 sq. ft. cottage has 2 BEDROOMS. The master bedroom features 1 King bed while the second bedroom features 1 Twin bed, 1 Twin Bunk bed, and 1 Trundle bed. There's also an additional blow-up mattress to accommodate additional guests.

Get ready for your day in the 2 BATHROOMS, one of which is in-suite to the master bedroom. We'll provide you with toiletries, towels, and a hairdryer. Keep your clothes clean with the in-suite washer and dryer.

After a day relaxing by Taylorsville Lake, retreat to our comfortable air-conditioned LIVING AREA with a lovely fireplace. Curl up on the sofa and watch your favorite show on the Roku TV or bring a movie to watch on the DVD player. You can easily connect with friends and family back home, courtesy of the complimentary Wi-Fi. In the evening, step out onto your private balcony and enjoy some fresh air or soothe your muscles in the private hot tub!

In the KITCHEN, you'll find a stove, an oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, dishes, basic cooking products, and a blender. Start your morning with a cup of coffee fresh from our in-suite coffee machine! For dinner, whip up a tasty meal on the charcoal grill.

There are a number of other amenities you're sure to enjoy when you stay at The Boulevardier Cottage #19, including access to a shared outdoor pool (open during the summer), volleyball courts, meeting and banquet facilities, and many hiking trails.

We recommend bringing a car to get around the area! You'll find parking available outside the cottage for up to 2 cars. Additional parking is available at the entrance of the community.

Spend a day fishing in Taylorsville Lake! Enjoy sunny days while golfing at Tanglewood Golf Course, a 6-minute drive away. If you don't feel like cooking, enjoy a tasty meal at Fiesta Mexicana or at Snappy Tomato Pizza.

We recommend your own transportation as there is no public transportation. There are 2 parking spaces at the cottage, with plenty of additional parking near the pool or up at the front office. Please wear shoes walking around the grounds as there is gravel in some areas of the resort.
We have NEST cameras on the back porch and front monitoring both entry doors. These are for safety.
• You'll find parking available outside the cottage for up to 2 cars. Additional parking is available at the entrance of the community.
• Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet there is a $75 pet fee. There is a max of 2 pets per stay. Please make sure to add them to your reservation. We ask that no pets be on the couches or beds. If an animal is to be left alone at the cottage, please provide a kennel for the animal(s)

- "We came from an hour away just to have a quiet short get away and this cottage couldn’t have been more perfect. We found the house to be clean, cozy and comfortable. We brought our little dog too and she even seemed to enjoy the stay. We felt safe in the gated community and cameras on the outside of the building. Most everything we could have imagined was at our finger tips from soaps and shampoos on the bathrooms and plenty of kitchen ware to cook the groceries we brought. The temperatures dropped about 30 degrees from Friday night to Saturday morning with a couple inches of snow on the ground but we were warm and comfortable. We had a lake view out the back windows because of the bare tree limbs. Would definitely like to come back sometime. Thank you for a safe, clean, quiet weekend!!!"

Located on beautiful Brashears Creek in the heart of Bourbon Country, this loft style cedar cabin makes a great central location to visit some local distilleries and wineries. It is also a great place to stay for anyone who might be in the area for a horse show or interested in antique shopping along Shelbyville's historical Main Street. My personal favorite thing to do at the cabin is enjoy the creek. We love to canoe, kayak or even just float on a raft depending on the conditions.

CAN I CHECK IN EARLY?
We do our very best to make sure the cabin is ready for our next guests. If you need a check-in earlier than 4pm, there will be a $50 fee.

DETAILS
There is a Hot Tub......
To ensure the safety of you and other guests, please follow the hot tub rules posted. DO NOT leave children unattended in or near the hot tub. Hot tub is cleaned, treated, and checked for proper functionality before every arrival. If any abuse requiring draining of the hot tub is discovered when a guest departs, we will collect your security deposit to cover the expense of additional labor, supplies, and water for a process that takes up to five hours to drain, clean, refill, and reheat for the next guest. We make every effort to keep the hot tub functional, hot and ready for each guest to enjoy. There is no guarantee that a mechanical failure can be repaired, as parts may need to be ordered. There will be no refunds or discounts due to a hot tub malfunction, and damage to the hot tubs, covers, and filters will be assessed to you.

There is a Walmart and Kroger in Shelbyville. You can purchase your favorite alcoholic beverage at Cox’s Spirit Shoppe, located close to the I64 exit onto SR 55. There are other locations in Shelbyville as well: Kroger Wine & Spirits, Save A Lot, and Liquor World.
