I loved every bit, from the convient parking deck, to the view overlooking the pool. The security of the building and apartment was comforting. Once i entered the premises, it was excellent and up to date. Very fresh. The apartment was very clean. Starting with the kitchen, equipped with up to date appliances, Kerig, dishes and utensils. All clean. Washer and dryer. Both bedrooms were spacious, with room for king size bed. Bedding was fresh. Extra blankie would have been nice. Very large closets. Bathrooms were spotless and roomy. Clean towels, updated shower. Small toiletries would have been a plus. I did have my own though. No tv's in the bedroom, would have been nice. Sharing a tv with grandchildren sucks. But again, no biggie. I would stay here again without question. Entire apartment was outstanding. And i look frwd to my next stay. And I'm sorry, I honestly forgot to take pictures. But trust me, this apartment is worth every penny!! You will not be disappointed."

The brick wall and industrial setup of the building drown out nearly all noise from the hustle and bustle outside, providing a quiet place to stay after exploring the fun city.
Each one of our two bedrooms features a king bed with a pillow top Sealy mattress, making sure you will get a comfortable night's sleep. Please note, that our additional two twin beds are located in the living room to be used for extra guests or as extra living room seating.
Our living room has plenty of seating and a Smart TV where guests can enjoy our Netflix or download their own streaming apps so you can still catch your favorites while on the go. This main living space also has a beautiful view of the bridge leading over the Ohio River into Indiana and the downtown park through the large almost floor-to-ceiling windows.
The kitchen is open to the rest of the main living space and complete with all the basics you may need to prepare meals during your stay, although, Lousiville has many great places to grab a bite. It's also open to the main living space so the chef in your group won't feel separate while preparing their next masterpiece.

Our apartment is nestled on 4th Street in downtown Louisville! The central location is within a short walking distance from endless restaurants, the KFC Yum! Center, 4th Street Live, great theatres, museums, and so much more. This is also a perfect 10 minute drive from Churchill Downs, the Louisville Expo, Kentucky Kingdom, and the Louisville International airport.
1) SMOKING & VAPING -Absolutely NO smoking, vaping, or drug use are permitted in the home or on the roof deck. In addition, please refrain from using smokeless tobacco products anywhere on the property. -If evidence of any of these is detected at any time, there will be an additional $200 cleaning fee assessed per person per night.
2) GUESTS -After booking, we require that the primary guest submit the names of every other guest who will be staying at the home. Every guest who is present on the property must be included in the original booking. There are to be no additional guests allowed on the property on an overnight basis. -If additional overnight guests are detected there will be a $100 fee assessed per person per night.
3) PARTIES & GATHERINGS -Out of respect for our neighbors and to be in accordance with the rules set forth by the City of Louisville, parties and gatherings are strictly forbidden. -There will be zero tolerance, and evidence of a party or gathering will result in immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without refund.
4) PETS & ANIMALS -As animal lovers ourselves, we ask that you respect our choice to keep this home PET FREE for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, especially those who might be allergic. -If a pet or evidence of a pet is found at the property, there will be an additional $100 cleaning fee assessed. In accordance with Airbnb policy, service animals are to never be left unattended at the property.
5) QUIET HOURS & SECURITY -Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. We take noise complaints very seriously. -This home is equipped with a privacy-compliant, non-recording, noise monitoring system (Minut), the purpose of which is to alert the host should there be any sustained loud noise inside the home. Tampering with or disabling the device is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without refund. This is for the protection of both the guests and hosts. -There are no recording devices or security cameras located inside of the home.
6) PARKING -There is one dedicated parking spot for your convenience. Please do not park in any other numbered parking spot, as doing so will subject your vehicle to being towed. If needed, there is an additional guest parking garage available located on 4th Street
7) CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT -In accordance with COVID cleaning protocols and to best allow our housekeeping team to prepare the home for you visit, we have strict times established for check-in (4:00 pm) and check-out (10:00 am). Should you need to drop your luggage at the apartment, we will be happy to attempt to make accommodations for you to do so in coordination with our housekeeping team. -Late check-out will not be allowed without advanced notice and approval from both the homeowner and housekeeping team, and an unapproved late check-out will be subject to a $50 fee per 30 minutes.
8) HOUSEKEEPING -Please treat our home as you would treat your own! Our housekeeping team works tirelessly to ensure your stay is a wonderful one, but they do need your help to ensure a smooth and seamless transition before and after your stay. -White towels should not be used for makeup removal! Please use the provided makeup remover towelettes or dark towels in the bathrooms. Soiled towels that cannot be laundered clean will incur a $25 fee to the guest. The NuLu and Butchertown neighborhoods are THE happening spots in Louisville. We are walking distance to downtown museums, Slugger field, waterfront park, the pedestrian bridge, the skate park, and a plethora of the trendiest shops and restaurants. The list of dining options is expansive and varied. You will find everything from pastries at Butchertown Bakery on Main Street to a decadent 3-course meal at MeeshMeesh. There are intriguing shops and galleries on Market Street and scattered throughout the neighborhood. The free trolley picks up passengers a block away and Ubers and cabs can be called at all hours. Our favorite thing about this neighborhood is the warm neighbors, business owners, and shop keepers that call the neighborhood home.
Getting Around:
The building's address is 827 E Market, but you'll access the apartments through the rear carport off Billy Goat Strut Alley. Look for the black building with 827 numerals and Upstairs signage, about halfway down the alley from either S Campbell or S Shelby Streets, 2 doors down from West Sixth Brewing.
Other Things to Note:
While we don't have onsite parking, there is plenty of parking in the NuLu neighborhood. Free street parking is available on Market or Main St around our building, and there's a paid overnight parking lot directly behind the carport with discounts for patrons of the NuLu Marketplace businesses (which we highly recommend!). The daily max in the paid lot is $17.

Our apartment is nestled on 4th Street in downtown Louisville! The central location is within a short walking distance from endless restaurants, the KFC Yum! Center, 4th Street Live, great theatres, museums, and so much more. This is also a perfect 10 minute drive from Churchill Downs, the Louisville Expo, Kentucky Kingdom, and the Louisville International airport.
1) SMOKING & VAPING -Absolutely NO smoking, vaping, or drug use are permitted in the home or on the roof deck. In addition, please refrain from using smokeless tobacco products anywhere on the property. -If evidence of any of these is detected at any time, there will be an additional $200 cleaning fee assessed per person per night.
2) GUESTS -After booking, we require that the primary guest submit the names of every other guest who will be staying at the home. Every guest who is present on the property must be included in the original booking. There are to be no additional guests allowed on the property on an overnight basis. -If additional overnight guests are detected there will be a $100 fee assessed per person per night.
3) PARTIES & GATHERINGS -Out of respect for our neighbors and to be in accordance with the rules set forth by the City of Louisville, parties and gatherings are strictly forbidden. -There will be zero tolerance, and evidence of a party or gathering will result in immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without refund.

Getting Around:
We're in the historic Guthrie Coke Lofts at 566 S 4th St, in the heart of downtown Louisville.
We offer paid onsite parking to guests for $15/night in the open lot directly behind the building. If you've paid for onsite parking, instructions will be provided at check-in.
Guests staying more than 6 nights are eligible for free parking as part of their extended stay.
For loading/unloading luggage or other items, you can park your car in front of the building entrance or in the nearby loading zone with flashers on.
The Clay Commons Parking Garage at 350 W Chestnut St is another parking option a block away from the building for $25/night, but there are plenty of other garages or paid street parking in the area.

Need extra bedding? We don't charge extra guest fees, but we do offer a pull-out sleeper sofa. Let us know if you plan to use it, and we’ll leave extra linens, a blanket, and pillows in your room before you check in. We charge $15 per reservation to cover the additional laundry costs for sheets, blankets, and towels.
Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $20/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service.

This apartment is former garage/shop in a cottage building in our back yard. Upstairs there is another apartment but it's quite well sound insulated. It has window AC installed in a wall and gas heater. It has little sunlight but very good led and mood lighting. To get to it you have to unlock backyard gate and walk entire length of our backyard. Location is very close to downtown, 10 minutes to medical complex and may be a good choice for somebody that has to sleep during the day.

Hi, this basement studio apartment is in our Victorian building about 1 mile from the city center and also about a mile from the Riverfront. Popular NuLu neighborhood is around the corner and The Highlands 15 min walk away. Basement is about 6 ft 7 inch so if you over 6 ft it may feel uncomfortable. There's only on window but artificial lighting is plentiful. Kitchen is rudimentary with small fridge and inductive hotplate and it also lacks proper closet, just clothing rack.
