If you enjoy camping, boating, fishing, kayaking you will love this. Short drive to Bloomington and Brown County State Park. Special features include, a double bunk bed setup with full beds, a full sized futon, Roku Tv, DVD player, 2nd outside shower, and large parking area with 2-30 amp RV hookups. This cabin is a quaint small red cabin in the woods. It has access to 202,814 acres, 266 miles of hiking, horseback riding & mountain bike trails in Hoosier National Forest right outside your door with connecting trails to Brown County State Park. You can hike to the lake if you want a nice long hike. This is perfect for people who love to hike, mountain bike, fish, boat, kayak and camp. Also note that the living space is a studio style cabin. The cabin has a full bathroom with stand up shower. Plus outdoor shower as well. Great after hiking. It does have a small water heater so quick showers are needed. This space has a Double futon and 2 full size mattress bunk beds. It can accommodate up to 5 people max. The outdoor shelter house is one of the cabins best features. Plenty room for a great picnic and s’mores over the fire pit. Also if you have a boat or camper there is a circular drive around cabin for easy turn around and plenty parking.

The cabin is approximately only 100 yards off SR 446. Cabin has no direct neighbors. It is surrounded by woods. Cabin is located approximately 25 minutes from Indiana University Campus. Conveniently located 4 miles from Cutright or Paynetown boat launching ramp and Lake Monroe.

Please be aware we do have one small security camera in the door keypad. It activates when keypad is touched. You can request it to be turned off.

Communication with the host was easy and very pleasant and we will definitely return! McCormick State Park was within 15 minutes with well-tended trails and beautiful scenery. Green’s Bluff Trail was stunning and definitely worth hiking ( 5 min away.) Owen Valley Winery is adorable, as is the town of Spencer. The Lodge is located at the entrance to the Cataract Falls State Recreation Area. Home to the largest waterfalls in the Midwest. The Parkview Suite is the largest suite in the lodge and located at the center of the lodge. Inside, there is an open concept of the living room and the dining room and kitchen. They have totally remodeled and added an island with a dishwasher and man what a view! Doing dishes has never had such a great view overlooking the lake. The wall of windows in the living room will make you never want to leave this property. At this time, the corner wood stove is OFF LIMITS and for looks only and will most likely be replaced soon.

You and yours will retreat to your queen bed perhaps or your little ones or guests will retreat to the trundle bed in the nook. In the morning, enjoy the enormous shower and the ample space.

Celtic Glen is a working, family farm of heritage breed livestock, nestled in an old limestone quarry on the banks of the White River, on one side, and Fall Creek, on another. Learn about regenerative farming with rare breeds on a farm tour, or mining and wetlands restoration on an ecological history tour. Pet and feed the livestock. Fish and bird-watch. Take a yoga class (at times with goats or bunnies) in the center of the stone henge. Have coffee with goats. Contact us in advance for these activities and to eat farm craft meats, eggs, prepared soups, casseroles, and baked goods, or hop into town for a bite.

We are across the river from McCormick's Creek State Park (Indiana's first state park with miles of trails, a swimming pool, horseback riding, and lodge) and just two miles north of Spencer, a small town with an excellent brew pub, winery, cafe, and more. Just 12 miles north of the farm is Cataract Falls State Recreation Area. We are only 20 minutes from Bloomington and Indiana University; 45 minutes from Indianapolis Int'l Airport.

This is a working farm with lots of livestock, electric fences, and working dogs, so please leave the farm animals alone unless someone from the farm is available and present. Dogs must be on a leash in the camping area. Given the above features of a working livestock farm, the quarry ruins, the operative railroad tracks, and the river (not suitable for swimming), children under the age of 18 must be attended by adults at all times.

Covered Bridge
Legend tells the story of how the Covered Bridge Cabin is on the original road to Nashville…where buckboard wagons, buggies, and folks on horseback passed through the still-standing covered bridge that is just a short distance from this quaint log cabin. If seclusion is what you’re seeking, then Covered Bridge Cabin may well be the place for you. Relaxation begins at the front porch, where a proper swing lures guests to swing and sway to the sounds of nature.

Once inside, you can make yourself right at home in front of the wood-burning fireplace n the large great room with a 40" satellite TV. Sharing this space on the main floor is the kitchen and a dining area plus a bathroom and a door leading to the deck on the backside of the log cabin. Here, your steaming out door hot tub awaits…so bring along your swimsuit and let the water massage commence.

The loft-style bedroom offers a king-size bed, a pretty antique dresser, half bath and tree-top view of the woods. What could be better than your own private living room area, accessed via a catwalk, where you’ll enjoy cuddling up in front of the gas-log fireplace. This whole space overlooks the living/dining area below, making the cabin feel very airy and spacious.

It's fun to watch them! All food is stored in containers in shack. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. Also like hot dogs.

"Scruggs" is one of 3 deluxe camping cabins located at Bill Monroe's Music Park & Campground in Brown County, Indiana. The cabin has electric, heat, air conditioning, kitchenette, full bathroom and 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is on the main floor, a sleeping loft has 2 beds with very steep stairs.

Campground is 5 miles from downtown Nashville, Indiana. Firewood & ice available to purchase, we offer golf carts rentals.

The space
Our deluxe camping cabins offer you comforts of home. Two bedrooms, a full bath with walk-in shower and a kitchenette where you can prepare simple meals throughout your stay.

The main bedroom is on the main floor, 2 additional beds are located upstairs in the sleeping loft. Note: the stairs leading up to the loft are very steep.

If you have a large group or want to come stay with family, there are 3 deluxe camping cabins in this area and also a rental camper that sits next to "Flatt" deluxe camping cabin #6.

Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground is just 10 minutes north of the town of Nashville, Indiana where you can shop, explore, and find niche restaurants.

Need Wi-Fi? We have a Wi-Fi Café located at the front of campground inside our camp store, museum and gift shop. Hours: Monday-Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, closed on Sunday.

You will have the entire cabin to yourself, this deluxe camping cabin will accommodate up to 6 guests. Overlooking the lake, there is an outside picnic table, grill and fire ring. Parking is in the gravel parking area just a few steps away from your cabin.

The lake is not open for swimming. There is a $50 pet fee per stay, limit 2 pets. For the safety of staff and to keep pet fees low, all pets must be crated when left unattended in cabins.

Cozy 1885 log cabin with an AMAZING view! Abe’s Cabin is set atop one of the highest hills in Brown County. With a jetted spa tub, gas fireplace (seasonal), an absolutely adorable farm kitchen, this little cabin is a charming spot for a couple or small group to unwind. King bed downstairs, and a queen bed in the loft. A front porch with two rocking chairs, and back deck with a table and chairs, plus grill.

The space
1,100 sq ft antique log cabin with all the modern amenities! This cabin is pet-friendly. Has an indoor, jetted spa tub, and outdoor charcoal grill. There’s a seasonal (October to May) gas fireplace in the living room, chandelier hanging from the 15 ft ceiling and spaces to snuggle and enjoy the Brown County charm!

The Bedrooms
The downstairs bedroom boasts a king-sized four poster bed, ensuite bathroom with small standup shower, and closet as well as seating area.
The upstairs loft bedroom is cozy and has large windows overlooking the best view in Brown County, a small closet, and overstuffed chair.

Spa Tub Room
This room is adjacent to the downstairs bedroom and kitchen. The corner spa tub, overlooks the view and is in its own room.

The Bathrooms
Two ground-floor bathrooms. Both have small standup showers, rustic built-in shelving, and cabin-character.

The Living Room
The living room is small and coxy but with a 15 ft ceiling, crystal chandelier, and a seasonal gas fireplace, couch, leather chair, and desk with bookshelves. There is a smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The stairs to the loft bedroom start in the living room, and the second bathroom is also accessible from this room.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with drip coffee maker (we provide Folgers coffee, filters, and creamer), toaster, microwave, electric range, and a refrigerator. We provide a few basic pots and pans as well as cups, coffee mugs, and wine glasses, and, of course, plates and silverware. There’s a table in front of the windows overlooking the view. The private back deck can be accessed from the wooden door in the kitchen.

The Back Deck
The private deck overlooks the beautiful view and is equipped with a charcoal grill as well as outdoor seating. Please bring your own charcoal.

Treetop Retreat is located atop one of the highest hills in Brown County. Our view is one of the best in the Midwest, stretching more than 9 miles across the Brown County hills.
We are just 3 miles north of Nashville, and so close to shopping, dining, the Brown County State Park, and Brown County Music Center.
We host four lodging options on our 11-acre property. We also have a small outdoor wedding venue. Don’t worry, we NEVER host weddings while we have guests staying on our property!
We are located on a dead-end road, very close the Beanblossom Covered Bridge and Beanblossom Overlook. We do have a ring camera that faces our parking lot and check-in box. This is for your safety and the safety of our suites and cabin.

Guest Access
We will send you a general message a few minutes after booking. Another message with check-in instructions will be sent the day you arrive. You can self-check-in between 4 and 9 pm. We have ample parking across from the cabin, but may not have enough space for trailers or RVs. Please reach out if you have an extra-large vehicle. Both our parking lot and lane are gravel.
I grew up in Brown County and love sharing information about the area, so please ask if you have questions!

Pets
We love dogs and so only charge $35 one-time fee for up to two dogs. Please help us remain pet-friendly by taking good care of our space. Please don’t allow pets on the furniture. Please never leave your pet unattended in the suite. Please pick up and dispose of any pet waste in the dumpster on the southern end of our property. Please always keep your pet on lead, we will have other guests staying on our property.

• We do have seasonal ladybugs in our rooms. We do our best to keep them out, and vacuum them up, but they seem to still find a way to meet our guests! Please beware you are renting a space in the forest, and very much in nature!!

This is a 1900’s era farm cottage that has been completely renovated. New kitchen, bath, floors, open layout, perfect space for your Brown County trip and perfect mix of new with old.

There is a bedroom on the first floor off the living room with a queen bed. In the open living room, there is a pull out couch with a queen pull out sofa bed. In the upstairs loft, there are 3 twin beds.

Our fully equipped kitchen will make your meal prep a breeze. Brand new stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher!), baking sheets, and pots and pans are all provided. The main floor has 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom in between.

The basement bedroom is for the guest who needs to bring work with them. It has a king bed, built-in desk, television, and closet. Swing or sit on the porch area outside this bedroom. The full bathroom & washer and dryer are in the basement as well.

Head all the way up the spiral staircase & you'll find the cutest loft space. The kids will enjoy the play area and toys tucked behind the couch. Enjoy your favorite tv show or just sit and enjoy the forest view. Your own private balcony awaits where you can look down to the hot tub below or count how many squirrels are scurrying! On either side of the loft you'll find one king bed + 2 twin beds - the perfect spot for a family of 4 to camp out!

The space
The main level great room boasts stunning beamed ceilings and a large open kitchen/living space. The open floor plan includes the living room with flat screen TV, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and multiple eating nooks. Directly off the living room is a large screened in porch leading out to the grill, backyard, fire pit, and stairs to the dock. Guests enjoy the natural flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The lower level provides a walk out basement to the backyard and entertainment galore! Guests have access to lawn games (bags/corn hole, ladder toss, kan jam), as well as Ping Pong, Foosball, Pop-a-Shot, darts, poker/card table, and plenty of board games for both kids and adults. Tired after a long day on the lake? Make some drinks at the basement bar, get the popcorn machine started, put on a movie, and kick back and relax in the basement home theater complete with a 70” TV and surround sound. You will enjoy the amount of sleeping space this home offers! The home offers 4 bedrooms with 7 beds, including a master suite with a king bed, and 3 additional bedrooms all with queen size beds (2 bedrooms on main level and 2 upstairs). There are two full bathrooms with shower/tub combos (one on main level and one upstairs) as well as a half bath on the main level.

The outdoor space includes a large screened-in porch, Weber Summit Series gas grill, fire pit, lawn games, and private dock accessible from the backyard.

Our lake house is a true retreat unlike any other on Raccoon Lake with a focus on amenities and the little touches that matter. Please note: we do NOT allow events, parties, or guests who are not registered in the guest count when you book. We have neighbors who know we Airbnb the home and they will report events or parties to us. Please do not break this rule as it will result in immediate eviction.

Dock and stairs leading to the dock are private and accessible directly from the backyard of the home. Guests can park their own boat or rented boat on the dock.

*Please note, if you are renting a boat through Raccoon Lake Boat Rental you may dock the rental boat at our dock during the day, but their current rental policy states that all rentals should be parked at their dock overnight. We have found enforcement of this policy to be mixed. We encourage you to honor their rules. Please reach out to Raccoon Lake Boat Rental with any questions on their policies.

The space
You won’t believe you are only 8 minutes from downtown Nashville when you pull up the driveway to this beautiful retreat. Super secluded on 5 wooded acres, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath log cabin is equally quaint for a romantic getaway and fun for a weekend with your family or close friends.

If you want to get outside and meander through Nashville or check out the state park, just 12 minutes away, there is much to do. Bloomington and the Indiana University campus are under 30 minutes on a scenic drive via IN-45, so your location is perfectly situated for campus visits for any reason. If the weather calls for a little less outdoor adventure, you can sit under the wraparound porch and read a book on the swing, dine on the screened-in porch after preparing a meal in the fully furnished kitchen, play a game, watch TV, or gather with those you are with and take time to catch up on life’s journeys.

There is plenty of space and area for everyone to stretch out and recharge. No matter what your day brings, you will enjoy being able to wind down lounging in the hot tub and sitting around the fire pit at night. Just don’t forget to bring all the fixings for s’mores!

We hope that Deer Dance Log Cabin can be a place where you will want to make special memories year after year. There are many updates happening now and planned for the near future. Internet is now available, but it is totally okay if you disconnect and don’t use it!

In addition to the king and queen beds, there is also a full-sized futon.

Deer Dance Log Cabin has a fairly steep drive. It is helpful if you have a front-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. When going up the hill, maintain a steady speed; you should not have any problems.

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

All fireplaces are seasonal and available for use from October 1st to April 1st.

The main Living spaces consist of a large Great room, Full Kitchen, Dining, and Family Room area. Converted porch is your Gaming area with a TV, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Board games and Puzzles, and a sit down old fashioned arcade table. There is an electric fireplace in this space for heat. Being an older cabin recently renovated, the main living spaces do not have central heat, but room units, and there is a fireplace in the great room, and mini splits in these spaces for additional warmth and cooling.

You will have full access to the house and any amenities provided. We have all the basics- towels, washcloths, sheets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotions. We also provide local coffee, and some K-Cups for your convenience. We have spices from the local Nashville Spice Company with a really nice variety. If there are any pantry items there, you are welcome to use them. There is a hot tub, grill with propane available for your use, and a nice fire pit area with cut firewood available as well. There is a cute "bunkhouse" available for anyone inclined to sleeping under the stars that overlooks the pond. You may fish the pond as well.

We are in a heavily wooded area, with loads of wildlife. There are critters, snakes, deer, turkey, bobcats, and many more!

Storybrook Log cabin is the ideal spot for your Story, Indiana vacation. Whether you are visiting the Brown County State Park's horse trails, or visiting some of the entertainment venues in Story, the Storybrook Log Cabin is the perfect place. This two story log cabin has all the charm of an 1800's log cabin, but equipped with all the modern amenities of today.

On the main level, you will find a warm, inviting, living room with a wood burning fireplace and a Smart TV. The oversized kitchen/dining room area is guaranteed to be the favorite gathering place. This kitchen is equipped with everything you would possibly need to prepare an old fashioned country meal. Also, on the main level, you will find a bedroom with a double bed and a full bath.

The master bedroom with a brand new queen size sleigh bed is located upstairs, along with two other bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with two twin beds. There is also a full bathroom with a shower and separate claw foot bathtub.

Storybrook Log cabin is situated on seven wooded acres. There is plenty of flat ground for walking and discovering the beauty of Brown County. Behind the cabin, there is a small frog pond, babbling creek, and a camp fire pit. Just beyond the creek is the ideal neighbor- Brown County State Park!

You will enjoy exploring nature at its finest, while relaxing on the back porch area. Watch deer and other wildlife while enjoying a meal at the picnic table.

The cabin includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths (4th bedroom is loft with a queen bed and a pull out double bed), a large family room with bar, full sized fully equipped kitchen, living room, and huge attached lakefront deck. It includes private stairs to a private dock with room for 2 boats. Wildlife is abundant and you are just minutes from Raccoon Lake State Park.

Other things to note
Raccoon lake is a reservoir manage by the army corp of engineers. During the early part of the spring and summer season, water levels may fluctuate with the amount of rain. Winter time lake levels are lower but we are on the deep part of the lake.

Velvet Forest log cabin is situated high on a hill in the middle of five wooded acres offering a secluded vacation get away. There is plenty of flat ground for hiking and discovering the beauty of
Brown County. Watch deer and other wildlife while enjoying a meal at the picnic table/grill area or the separate firepit with ample seating.

The interior walls of this cabin are crafted from the same sturdy logs as the exterior. The rich, warm tones of the timber create a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the rough-hewn edges and knots tell the story of the forest from which they came. The wood vaulted ceiling in the living areas complete this feeling.

Only three steps separate you from the deck and main floor of this cabin. The entrance leads you into the open floor plan of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The spacious kitchen offers
plenty of counter space with bar seating and everything you would possibly need to prepare an old fashioned country meal. The large wood dining table can easily accommodate your group’s meals or card games. The living room contains a large 50“ smart TV and comfortable seating. The French doors in the living room lead you to the full length, covered back deck where you can relax, listen to the birds sing, and watch the gold finches at the bird feeder.

In the master bedroom you will find a king bed with an armoire containing a 40“ smart TV for your individual programming. The large master bathroom has a two sink vanity, a jetted oversized tub, and a walk-in shower.

Bluebird's Nest is a lovely cabin built with Brown County stone.. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a little getaway time in Brown County, ensuring you a bit of well-deserved R & R. Park the car, and head to the front door with your bags and groceries, and you may soon decide to spend your entire visit right here.

The open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen is spacious, yet cozy for a group of 2 to 4 guests. Chilly autumn and winter days will be made lots more fun if you build a fire in the wood-burning stove, and snuggle in the comfy chairs or sofa. If you’re here when the weather is warm and sunny, then you’re going to love sitting out on the porch. You can access the outdoors from the main living area on the main floor, so open up the door and let the fresh air fun commence!

Stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space in the kitchen will encourage Bluebird Nest's guests to experiment with a new recipe or two, or simply make a batch of brownies for all to enjoy. There’s ample room to lay out the cook’s offerings… ample room to lay out offerings in the kitchen or at the dining table. Some folks have been known to use one table for meals, and the other for creative pursuits such as scrapbooking, sewing, making hand-tied fishing lures, or family game night. What will be your preference? Besides all this, you’ll find a powder room conveniently located on this main level as well.

When bedtime rolls around, it’ll be just a short walk to jump into your jammmies and crawl into bed. The master bedroom features a comfy queen bed, a dresser, and a TV. The second bedroom is downstairs outfitted with a queen bed... great for the kiddos or another couple you may have invited to come along. No waiting for the shower though, as both bedrooms have their own private adjoining bathrooms.

Enjoying the views of the surrounding wooded hills as you’re relaxing is an indulgence everyone should allow themselves to have. Pass the evening gathered around the campfire pit, which is very secluded up the hill nestled in the woods and share stories of the glory days, as you roast the perfect hot dog or marshmallow.

This remote location in south-central Indiana is perfect for someone looking for total seclusion. Make sure to grab your groceries on the way out. The 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin is situated in the middle of 370 private wooded acres on a 14 acre lake exclusively for your enjoyment.

Bring your fishing gear or feel free to use ours. There are miles of trails and logging roads to roam and explore. Help yourself to hunt mushrooms while in season.

The space
The house is 1 mile off the road down a narrow gravel drive. You must open two locked gates to gain access. The first 1/2 mile is a shared access road then you enter the property at the second gate and it is another 1/2 mile through the woods until you reach the house. TOTAL. SECLUSION.

The cabin is a modern construction 1700 square foot house with central heat and air. It is comfortable year round. There are decks on 3 sides of the house and two docks over the water which have all been updated for 2024.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property except the large metal pole barn below the dam. Help yourself to the garage and recreation equipment inside. (Kayak, fishing gear, life jackets, floaties, etc)

Other things to note
On the morning of your last day please be sure any dirty dishes are in the dishwasher and run it if there is time to finish before you turn off the water. Please place all dirty sheets and towels in the kitchen on the floor. There is a Rumpke trash toter at the entrance gate where it would be greatly appreciated for you to leave any trash upon your departure. Thank you!

Our Brown County Shack is on 100 acres with 3 miles of private hiking trails.

Be prepared for the WOW as you walk into the newly-built, custom crafted log cabin known as Our Brown County Shack. The Owner is the builder and man will you see the custom work and the time that he put into this beautiful cabin. "Shack" as they so coined it is stated with humble meaning.

You come up the driveway and this cabin is perched on the hill of 100 acres all alone awaiting for you and the family. There are stairs to get up onto the lower level 54' covered deck. You can enter there into the lower den area equipped with a Satellite Flat screen TV with DVD player, mini fridge and microwave and room to enjoy each other's company. On this lower level is a king bedroom with an on-suite full bath with tub and shower.

Up the stairs inside or outside - you enter this custom log home. Upper/main level is a master bedroom (king) with an on-suite bath (over sized shower), a queen bedroom with an on-suite bath (over sized shower) and then the final queen bedroom with a hallway bath (over sized shower) and a full kitchen for the families meals. The living rooms has a wall of windows where you can enjoy the wildlife or looking down onto the catch and release pond and also equipped with a 58" smart TV and satellite.

There is another 65' covered deck off this upper level and also an 20'x30' deck for the outdoor enthusiasts. There is PLENTY of outdoor furniture, including 2 gliders, whether you decide to land on one of the massive covered decks, uncovered deck or fire pit area.

If you travel with your SMALL four-legged, extended family member, you’ll be happy to know that Our Brown County Shack log cabin is dog-friendly for the well-behaved and house-trained pooch. Please ask about bringing Spot along when you call to make your reservations. He’ll likely enjoy the weekend rendezvous just as much as you do.

Lake Lemon Retreat, formerly known as East Chelan (she-LAN) Cabin

Tucked high on hill on a pretty country drive sits the cabin called East Chelan - named after the breathtaking city in Washington…a place where the nature lover will find numerous outdoorsy things to do. A small fishing pond (catch and release only) just outside the front door is stocked with small mouth bass, and grass carp for the fisherman who brings along their favorite pole. Access to Lake Lemon, as well as Yellowwood State Forest are also close-by. Located halfway between Bloomington and Nashville, East Chelan is well situated for folks who want to attend sporting events at Indiana University, as well as hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking in Brown County State Park.

Lake Lemon Retreat comfortably sleeps 4 people within its two bedrooms upstairs on comfy queen beds and for larger groups, additional sleeping space is available on a queen air mattress which is stored in the upstairs closet.  There is one full bath on the main level.  One of the bedrooms has a TV. 

Both bedrooms are upstairs in a loft type setting on opposite sides of the loft with curtain doors. One bedroom has TV with high-definition antenna with Apple TV allowing guests to log into their own subscribed programs.

The living room with 65" smart TV with high definition antenna, dining area, and kitchen share a common space, which makes it nice when cooking and visiting with your companions. Here is where you’ll gather to socialize, watch TV, or cuddle up in front of wood fireplace with logs a-blazin’. There is a sitting area of all windows for lots of conversations to be had.

The cabin also provides high speed fiber.

The Lake Lemon North Shore Marina is 2 miles from the cabin where you can rent a boat from them. You can also bring your boat to the marina and have a great time on the lake. Driveway not designed for boat trailers.
