OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Our closest beach is at Stop 37, 1 mile down the road. There is no vehicle parking allowed (strictly enforced), so when we don't feel like walking, we drop off our family and supplies with the car, and the driver returns to the beach via the bike in the shed. There are also several stunning beaches with parking a short drive away detailed in our guidebook you'll receive ahead of your stay.

The 4th bedroom is in a separate single-room building on the property (next to the hot tub). It doesn't have a bathroom, but it does have heating / air conditioning.

We offer parking for 4 vehicles. Street parking is not available, and there is no nearby overnight public parking facility.

We do not allow any pets at the property.

This isn't a party home; it's in a beautiful quiet, cozy neighborhood with more permanent residents than rentals. We do not allow guests that are not part of the reservation to visit the home (even if not staying the night) unless pre-approved.

Even the throws and pillows. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink but maintenance was sent immediately and it was resolved. Maintenance man was very personable and kind. I was desperate for an early check in and the host was able to grant me that which was so helpful. The house and area overall were just so peaceful and serene. Highly recommend this property. Host is extremely prompt and helpful."

The large primary bedroom with a king sized bed is on the main level with a brand new bathroom just outside in hall.
There is a game closet, full sized washer and dryer, and a hallway with a bench that leads to the rear deck.
The back deck features seating and a newer gas grill. Just down those steps is the fabulous outdoor shower! There is nothing like taking a shower while looking up at the sky! A few steps away you will find the outdoor fire pit area, perfect for roasting s'mores! Inside the shed you will find bikes, wagons, beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas.

- "The Red Bird Cabin was awesome, I would stay again! It’s in a quiet (wooded) neighborhood. We enjoyed many morning deer visitors while having coffee on the deck. Stop39 beach was perfection, a lot more sand than rocks. Everything was exactly as described. Only downfall was unable to get clear instructions for departure until later, no guidebook was provided on the property only sent via email on the day before we were leaving. I’ve stayed at other places and thee’ve had a printed guidebook on the property with detailed instructions on how to operate things in the house. There was some signage though. Beds were super comfy and the beach goers loved the outdoor shower. All in all a lovely cottage. So cozy!"

UPPER-LEVEL: From the lower level just outside the sliding glass door is a short flight of outdoor stairs to the main level. The great room immediately greets you with that rustic charm that only a beach classic can provide. The great room boasts a large flat screen TV and plush couches. Just off the great room you find 3 bedrooms, each with a full over full bunk as well as 1 shared bathroom. Just past the living room nestled in the back of the house is the dining and kitchen area. Custom built high top dining table can be converted to one table seating 9 or three small separate tables seating 2 each with 3 additional seats at the kitchen bar top. Equipped with the original kitchen furnishings, this unique kitchenette promotes the simple life, less time in the kitchen means more time at the beach! Expand the fun into the four seasons room, perfect for game night. Venture out the back door to a brand new patio over looking the private backyard. At the bottom of this deck you are sure to enjoy the fire-pit surrounded by deck chairs. Enter back into the lower level here as well.

LOWER-LEVEL: Once at the top of the staircase, walk into the lower level where the younger flip floppers can call it their own. 3 twin bunk beds are tucked away from the large entertainment room with large flat screen TV. Draw the curtain to divide this space for extra privacy. The lower level also features a massive bathroom with two separate walk in showers

The little house is located within a 170-acre modern farm community filled with open meadows, woods and dunes. Minutes to beach, 1 hour to Chicago. Relax and enjoy the property or head out to explore the lakeshore, wineries, and great area restaurants!

This lovely cabin built in the 1940s sits on a horse stable property with unique views of horses from the windows and porch !
There are two bedrooms on the main level with queen beds and two twin beds for children in the loft. This home has a rustic feel but with modern details : Central air and heat, a new kitchen and bath and laundry room. You can schedule riding at the stables, head to the Lake Michigan beach, or relax on the wrap around porch or in front of the fireplace or outdoor fire pit.

This home has a large en suite bedroom, a second bedroom off the main space, and a third lofted bedroom on the second floor. Parking for four cars in driveway on a wooded and private lot.

The cottage is also perfectly poised for Fighting Irish season! Nestled just ~40 miles west of South Bend (about a 30‑minute drive), it’s an ideal retreat for game‑day fans. Root for your team at nearby Notre Dame Stadium, then retreat to your lakeside escape.

You can even skip traffic—take the South Shore Line from Michigan City to South Bend Airport and hop on game‑day shuttles straight to the stadium.

Come relax in our cozy Michiana Cabin! The cabin was originally built in the 1940's and was recently completely rehabbed. It is on a 1/2 acre property, on a quiet street and a short walk to the lake. Come enjoy the peace and serenity that our little cabin has to offer including pool, hot tub, two fire pits, incredible porch and steam shower! You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
