Please, do not try to access the other side through adjoining door or enter the basement. There is a deck that you can enjoy. Be mindful, the deck is a shared space with the other unit. If you use the grill, you will need to scrape the grates when finished.

Although, you'll probably want to spend most of your time out of doors, there are games and books and cozy seating for the evening or a rainy day.

Also we thought cable is included but you would have to log in on your own account. Overall we had a great time with our stay especially our furbabies. It was mentioned it gets hot for their paws so now we know next time have them wear shoes or booties. The appointed person is very attentive and always available when we had questions. - "This was the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in! The beds were comfortable. I would say, if there were any downsides, it would be that the property was sparsely furnished, which meant there wasn’t a lot of seating in the living room area to watch TV, but it worked for our family. It might not if you had more than 4. But really, that was pretty minor compared to the pluses of this property. The walk down to the beach was pretty short, which meant we were able to walk down anytime we wanted to, which allowed us to go in the evenings when it was less crowded and enjoy the sunsets and swimming. There was beach parking, for those who didn’t want to walk, but as far as we could tell, it was $15/day, so we just walked down. The property was quiet and the neighborhood was too. It was only a 15-20 minute drive to Indians Dunes National Park. We didn’t go to the zoo, but it was also very close. The lighthouse museum and pier were nearby and we were able to take advantage of fishing opportunities while there. Overall, our stay was lovely and I recommend this property."

This historic home, originally built in the early 1900s, was thoughtfully redesigned and remodeled into four private units in the early 2000s. The property retains much of its original Victorian charm, including beautiful wood plank floors, high ceilings, gables, wide arches, and classic staircases. At the same time, modern upgrades were added, including fully equipped kitchens, upgraded electrical systems, and individual central air conditioning and heating in each unit, offering the perfect blend of old-world elegance and contemporary comfort.

Please note that if you plan to bring pets, there is a $50 pet fee per pet.

- "This property is located next to many excellent restaurants in the area and just a short drive to the national park which was the reason for our visit. For two couples it was great for two days. The area was a little busy during the day but very quiet at night. The King master bed was very soft and the twin beds were firm. There were plenty of supplies in the kitchen and plenty of bath towels. Loved the extras of having some toiletries available. Loved the book that the hosts prepared, very informative. Would love to have some local channels on the TV but this seems to be a problem in most rentals we stay in. Overall would recommend this place."

Walk to restaurants, shops on Franklin St. and Outlet Lighthouse Outlet Mall. Washington park beach is 1 mile away, Zoo is about 1 mile away too. Dune State Park is about 10 mile drive.
