Once i entered the premises, it was excellent and up to date. Very fresh. The apartment was very clean. Starting with the kitchen, equipped with up to date appliances, Kerig, dishes and utensils. All clean. Washer and dryer. Both bedrooms were spacious, with room for king size bed. Bedding was fresh. Extra blankie would have been nice. Very large closets. Bathrooms were spotless and roomy. Clean towels, updated shower. Small toiletries would have been a plus. I did have my own though. No tv's in the bedroom, would have been nice. Sharing a tv with grandchildren sucks. But again, no biggie. I would stay here again without question. Entire apartment was outstanding. And i look frwd to my next stay. And I'm sorry, I honestly forgot to take pictures. But trust me, this apartment is worth every penny!! You will not be disappointed."

We accidentally left the key fob in the truck, and we had to wait almost 24 hours to get it out. Historic Old Louisville is world renowned for its Victorian Era Romanesque, Queen Anne and Italianate style architectures and as having the largest collection of residential homes with stained glass windows in the world.

This apartment is a 650 square foot 3rd floor apartment.
There is a secure entrance door into the building and a separate secure entrance door into the apartment. The apartment has windows in every room, giving the space a light comfortable feel. The space consists of a large bedroom with a comfortable king mattress, large closet and an office desk work area, a family room with comfortable couch, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a bathroom with a combination tub/shower.

We provide free utilities and secure wireless internet during your stay.

There is plenty of free parking both on the street and in an on-premises parking lot.

Guest access
The building entrance is accessed through a secure side entrance which has a staircase that takes you up to your apartment entrance. There is a convenient common space shared coin laundry washer and dryer for our guest.

The on-premises parking is accessed through the alley in back of the building. The alley can be accessed from either Oak St. or St Catherine St. between 1st and 2nd streets.

Old Louisville is a typical metropolitan historic residential area with university students, many cultures and a full range of social economic and age groups represented.

You will begin with amenities and supplies but you will need to replenish them as you use them during your stay.

For an extra fee we will provide a once a week cleaning service to include replacing your linens and towels, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the bathroom and taking out the trash. Dish washing is not included however kitchen counters and table will be cleaned if not covered with dirty dishes and/or your personal belongings. This 1 bedroom apartment is very private and quiet. It is located on the 1st floor at the back side of our house. It's quite sound proof as it has double insulated ceilings and walls. It has 3 windows but doesn't have much sunlight because of window locations. AC is window unit and heat provided by gas heater. Included is WiFi and laundry room access. Parking is on public street but it's free and safe. Outside is all covered by security cameras. We are just 10 min walk from medical complex.

Hi, this basement studio apartment is in our Victorian building about 1 mile from the city center and also about a mile from the Riverfront. Popular NuLu neighborhood is around the corner and The Highlands 15 min walk away. Basement is about 6 ft 7 inch so if you over 6 ft it may feel uncomfortable. There's only on window but artificial lighting is plentiful. Kitchen is rudimentary with small fridge and inductive hotplate and it also lacks proper closet, just clothing rack.
