Come and see why so many guests of "1078 Hideaway" return year after year!! Located in a private, wooded setting less than a mile from downtown Nashville, the Hideaway is a large, 1350 sq. ft. ground floor suite, with 3 queen beds that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. The suite has it's own private entrance, back yard deck, fire pit, covered parking spaces and large parking area.
The Hideaway's living room has a large 48" smart HD TV with a Blu-ray DVD player, Roku streaming box, and free WiFi access. There's a massage chair, plus both ends of the couch are recliners. Also, there's a beautiful gas log fireplace so you don't have to deal with the hassle of loading firewood. A pull-down Murphy bed containing a comfy, queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress is hidden in the wall. (Our returning guests often fight over who gets to sleep on the Tempur-Pedic!) Plus there are folding doors so you can close this room off from the rest of the apartment, allowing it to serve as a second bedroom.
The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator. And we provide a water purification system so you'll have plenty of fresh filtered water for drinking and for the coffee makers (coffee press, automatic drip coffee maker, and Keurig coffee maker.) There's also a large assortment of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate for your enjoyment. Plus we stock the Hideaway with breakfast snacks so you'll have something to go with your morning coffee. And if you're craving steaks or burgers, there's a gas grill just outside the back door (paper plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery provided). There's also a washer and dryer (detergent provided) if you need to do a load of laundry.
The large bedroom has two queen pillow-top beds with luxurious linens, an assortment of pillows, and a 48" smart HD TV and Roku streaming box. And the bathroom offers soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and plenty of soft towels for each guest.
Guests have the entire back of the property to themselves, which includes a large private yard with a deck, grill, table with chairs, fire pit (wood provided), and outdoor games, including corn hole. And we have a large parking lot, so we're trailer and mountain bike friendly.

And Hard Truth Hills Restaurant and Distillery is literally just down the hill! One mile to the east is Brown County State Park, with its hiking and biking trails, lakes, picnic areas, swimming pools, and horseback riding. "eXplore Brown County" zip lines and the Salt Creek Golf Course are a quick drive from the house. Columbus and the Edinburgh Premium Outlets are only a 25 minute drive to the east. Lake Monroe and Bloomington (IU) are a short 30 minute drive to the west! There's lots close by to enjoy!
SELF CHECK-IN: We have a self check-in process (No contact with owners, unless you want to meet us.). Check-in is at 3 pm, but if the Hideaway was unoccupied the night before, you may be able to check in early. BUT CONTACT THE OWNER *FIRST* REGARDING AN EARLY CHECK-IN to make sure it's possible. Electronic door code will be sent via text on your arrival day.
SELF CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 11 am. in order to provide adequate time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Hideaway after each stay.
Maximum occupancy is 4 guests. Children are welcome, but parents are responsible for the conduct and safety of their children.
Ample pillows, towels, and linens are provided, however we do not provide daily housekeeping services or guest meals.
Sorry, NO PETS and NO SMOKING, although guests are welcome to smoke on the deck.

Located exactly one mile from the bustling arts and shopping of downtown Nashville, IN. Nestled into the side of a wooded hill for privacy and tranquility.

Our Downtown Studio Apartment is a centrally located gem, just steps away from shopping, Brown County State Park, Brown County Music Center, and Hard Truth Hill. Designed for comfort and convenience, this stylish space includes a mini fridge, microwave, coffee station, and TV—everything you need for a great stay.
Things to know:

This unit is easy to access with keyless locks for both the exterior and interior entrances.
This unit is in a historic building and there are two apartments on the 2nd floor. The entrance to the building will be shared with the other guest as well as the hallway but no worries each apartment is completely independent from each other.
Once you are in the studio apartment you will be surprised to see how much we were able to pack into such a cute space.
A small kitchen with a mini fridge, mini oven/stove, microwave, and sink. Fully stocked with cups, plates, bowls, and cookware.
We also included a coffee bar with complimentary Folgers coffee, dry creamer, sugar, and sweeteners.
We have a small table to enjoy your meals or coffee at that seats 2 and an accent chair to watch TV from.
A queen bed that is perfect for 2!
Our bathroom is cute as it has a little miniature door that is true to its historic time but when you enter the bathroom no worries it’s full size. In there we have complimentary travel size shampoo and conditioner. We also have a blow dryer for our guest to use as well as towels.
The unit also has a large television with free YouTubeTV to stream and we try to keep the bathroom stock with the things that guest might forget to pack. These are yours to use while there but please leave what you don’t use to keep our cost low and for other guest to have in case they need something.
Our family runs and operates the business downstairs Acorn Cottage so if anything is missing or you need something just let us know! We are steps away!

Since 2011, our guests have enjoyed all that "1078 Hideaway" has to offer. Located in a private, wooded setting 1/2 mile from downtown Nashville, the Hideaway is a 1350 sq. ft. ground floor apartment that comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests. It has it's own backyard, deck, covered parking spaces, and private outdoor entrance, so guests can come and go as they please.
The Hideaway's main room has a large 48" HD TV with Blu-ray DVD player, cable TV, and free WiFi access. There's also a massage chair and a beautiful gas log fireplace so you don't have to deal with the hassle of loading firewood. There's a pull-down Murphy bed in the wall that has a comfy, queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress, plus there are folding doors to close this room off from the rest of the apartment, allowing it to serve as a second bedroom.
The bedroom has two queen pillow-top beds with luxurious linens, an assortment of pillows, and a 48" HD TV. The bathroom offers a variety of soaps, shampoo, conditioner, plus plenty of soft towels and washcloths for each guest.
The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator. There's also a water purification system so you'll have plenty of fresh filtered water for drinking and for the coffee press, coffee maker, and Keurig coffee machine. A large assortment of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate is set out for your enjoyment, plus we stock the Hideaway with breakfast snacks so you'll have something to go with your morning coffee. And if you're in the mood to cook up some steaks or burgers, there's a gas grill just outside the back door (paper plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery provided). Plus there's a washer and dryer (detergent provided) if you need to do a load of laundry.
Guests have the entire back of the property to themselves, which includes a large private yard with a deck, grill, table with chairs, fire pit (wood provided), and outdoor games, including corn hole. And we have a large parking lot, so we're trailer and mountain bike friendly.
The Hideaway is perfect for a romantic retreat, a 'Girl's Shopping Weekend', or a family getaway! Enjoy peaceful mornings outside on the suite's large deck, sipping coffee and watching the finch, woodpecker, and hummingbird feeders. And in the evening, grab a sweater and gather around a bonfire in the fire pit or pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy the warmth and convenience of the living room's gas log fireplace. And the Hideaway is kid and family-friendly! Explore the shelves filled with playing cards and board games or go outside and enjoy the huge yard.
We're located less than 1/2 mile from downtown Nashville, where you can spend the day shopping, browsing art galleries, and tasting the local cuisine. One mile to the east is Brown County State Park, with its hiking and biking trails, lakes, picnic areas, swimming pools, and horseback riding. "eXplore Brown County" zip lines and the Salt Creek Golf Course are a quick drive from the house. Columbus and the Edinburgh Premium Outlets are only a 25 minute drive to the east. Lake Monroe and Bloomington (IU) are a short 30 minute drive to the west! There's lots close by to enjoy!
SELF CHECK-IN: We have a self check-in process (No contact with owners, unless you want to meet us.). Check-in is at 3 pm. If the Hideaway was unoccupied the night before, you *may* be able to check in early, BUT CONTACT THE OWNER *FIRST* REGARDING AN EARLY CHECK-IN!
SELF CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 11 am. in order to give us adequate time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the Hideaway after your stay.

Get away from it all at in Brown County Indiana. Yellowwood State Forest is just a short walk away for hiking enthusiasts hoping to catch a glimpse of a deer or do some bird watching. The mountain bike trails in the Brown County State Park are only minutes away.
At Mike's Music and Dance Barn, there are 2 suites - Cowboy Suite and Cowgirl Suite.
These suites have one bedroom with a queen bed and kitchenette.
They are perfect for line dancers or for the wedding party attending an event.
These suites are part of the music barn so there may be music, weddings or events until 11pm on Monday night and weekends.
There is one shared deck, each suite has it's own charcoal grill.

The Hidden Shroom is nestled in the woods in a quite neighborhood within walking distance of Nashville. The space is pet friendly with a fenced in yard. Two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, outdoor patio with a hot tub & two person sauna. The apartment is in a finished basement with a private exterior entrance.
Downtown Nashville is about a 15 minute walk and Hard Truth Hills, The north entrance to the Brown County State Park and the Brown County Music Center are all just a short drive away.
The space
The space has a fenced in yard and is pet friendly with no additional charge. There is a covered patio with seating for four, three person hot tub and two person infrared sauna. There is a full kitchen (no dishwasher) but has all of the necessities including pots/pans, dishes, drinkware, utensils, etc.
There is a gas grill, fire pit (with firewood) and hammock outside of the gate that you will have full access to. There is no bathtub but one full bath with a stand up shower. Shampoo/conditioner and body soap is supplied. There is also a desk with a laptop. I have a printer/scanner available upstairs to use if needed, when I am home.
AWD/Four Wheel Drive may be necessary in the winter months.

Full access to the lower level of the house, covered patio, fenced in yard as well as the grill/firepit/hammock area.
Other things to note
The website does not give me the best option to for the house type. The rental unit is in the finished basement of my home. You have a private entrance and private access to the full apartment (two bedroom, one bath), patio with hot tub & sauna as well as the firepit/grill area. The only shared space is the driveway.
I also want to mention that we have kitties and a senile pooch living upstairs. The cats can get a little rambunctious at times. Millie the old pooch is typically very good and quite but she gets quite excited when I get home. We try to keep the noise to a minimum but you may hear the occasional cat fight or super happy dog that we cannot always control :)
The Air BNB website added that the property is close to a lake and I cannot edit or delete this. We are not within walking distance to a lake. There is a creek at the bottom of the hill (not easy to access) and we are a short drive from the Brown County State Park and Yellowwood Lake...a bit more of a drive but also not far from Lake Monroe & Lake Lemon.
To keep the hot tub in good condition and the chlorine levels where they need to be I really need to check the hot tub daily. If you are only here for one night, it will already be checked and ready for you before you arrive but if you are here for multiple nights, please let me know a good time that I can check it. It only takes a few minutes.
All Wheel Drive or 4wd may be necessary in the winter months. Both ends of the driveway have an incline.

Parking:
We are surrounded by 24/7 free street parking. We do provide dedicated spaces for guest. We will send out parking details with suggestions on nearby free public parking lots you can park in during the day if you are unable to get a spot right in front of our complex. Historically guest have said our instructions make it easy breezy no matter the time of year but please note this.
Cancellation policy
We are a small family business but we also are human and understand life happens. Our cancellation policy is to be fair to both our business and our guest.
We do offer a 10% discount for non-refundable bookings. This means you are confident in your date and stay. If you chose this option then it is exactly that non refundable and also non negotiable as far as moving your booking to another date.

Date Change Request:
It’s hard for us to change dates for customers as our units are heavily booked and we typically cannot transfer your booking to another date.
However- We are happy to review the request and try to work with you. We truly want your business and are honored when a guest has chosen to stay with us. So when life happens and your plans change we want to be as helpful as we can and we will do our best to accommodate.
Our pricing is set to seasonally. If the change in date that you are requesting is weeks to months out- the cost could be different. So please understand if we mention this if you are asking us to investigate changing your booking from a non seasonal date to a seasonal date. We promise we are honest and fair people and we promise to treat every situation as such.
Pets:

The unit has 2 bedrooms and 2.5bathrooms and we have a queen size air mattress for the living room which would allow for the ones sleeping there to have their own private 1/2 bath.
The master bedroom features a kingsize bed with a full bathroom and walk in shower and dedicated work station if you need to get some work done during your stay. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed with a full bathroom with a walk in shower- both bedrooms with their own tv, sleep machine, and box fan.

Parking Information
As we’re located in downtown Nashville, parking is on the street, and we do not have a dedicated space for guests. However, there’s plenty of free street parking available 24/7 on a first-come, first-served basis. If a spot isn’t available when you arrive, don’t worry! We offer an unloading area, and there are some nearby "secret" parking lots that are free during the day. Just be sure to move your car to the street once a spot opens for overnight parking. We’ll send all the details on parking 2 days before your arrival to make things easy.
Pet-Free Policy
While we absolutely love furry friends, our units are pet-free. This policy is in place due to family allergies and our agreement with our cleaning crew. We kindly ask that you respect this so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay!
Cancellation & Booking Policies
Please review which policy you choose at time of booking. We have a non-refundable option which offers a 10% discount. When choosing this option it is non-refundable as well as non transferable meaning you cannot request to change dates.

This is a brand new unit which we just built this past year. Guest has access to the entire 2nd story which includes 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, an open concept living room and kitchen. The unit also has a large balcony that oversees the complex.

Because of the stores and left out items stored outside we do have 7 security cameras throughout the complex which face the entrances to the stores and Airbnbs.
Please know these are for your safety and that our cameras are only on the outside of our buildings. We do not have any recording devices in any of our units.

Girlfriends Getaway - "A home away from home." With approximately 1300 square feet, the Girlfriends Getaway is one of the larger accommodations in downtown Nashville Indiana. This unit comfortably accommodates up to seven guests in beds. It has three bedrooms (one queen and two full size) and also has a twin size day bed. The Master Bedroom has its own full bathroom and a walk-in closet. One of the other two bedrooms looks out of a large bay window down over the shops of Van Buren Street (the main shopping street). As you enter the unit, you are greeted with a nicely decorated spacious living room with a couch, coffee and end tables, a loveseat, lazy-boy, three area chairs, and a flat screen television. It's a great place to relax after (or during) a long day of shopping. Just down a short hallway is a Dining area that leads into a wonderful full Kitchen that overlooks north Nashville (through a BIG bay window) and has a four eye stove, an oven, a full size microwave, a full size refrigerator, a dishwasher, a double sided sink, a coffee maker, toaster, griddle and all the utensils, dinner ware and pots and pans. There are two full bathrooms. One is a very spacious bathroom with a tub and shower combination and a well lit large mirror and the other is a smaller full bathroom with a walk in shower.
