The pool looked good, but we didn’t use it. However, the inside of the cottage is was not well-maintained. Worst of all, my daughter found a rolled up band aid stuck to her leg in the middle of the night that must have been from the comforter. We did not stay our second night."

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire suite. The laundry is located in this suite and may be used by the hosts and other guests but only when you are away. A covered front porch, a large patio and boardwalk in the back yard are available for your relaxation as weather permits. All outdoor areas are furnished with tables and chairs for dining or relaxing.

Before we accept your request we would like to know why you are coming to West Lafayette. We know you will be happy staying here, but you may want to book only the first month and we will block the remaining time that you require. It is much easier and less costly to extend your reservation than to request a refund.

We prefer guests to be post grad and beyond.

Other things to note
This room is for one guest only for long term occupancy of at least one Purdue semester. However, since this will be your home away from home it is completely acceptable to have overnight guests for a short term. We will discuss any additional charge, if any.

Pedal Inn was built in the 1880's as a residence for the sisters teaching at the German Catholic School across the courtyard which is now Virtuous Cycles, a sweet bike shop run by my son.
My husband and I live at Pedal Inn. The entrance door locks automatically, but past that there are no locks. I made that decision intentionally as I don't want to lock my space and feel that my guests and I should enjoy the same trust.

Guests may be accompanied by one well behaved pet. Pets must not be left alone for more than three hours and puppies (younger than 18 mos) must be crated if left alone.

The space
This is a spacious 1 Bedroom with private entrance and parking just outside your door. The City Bus stop is also steps away.

Updated throughout that provides a new, comfy queen bed, sectional pullout double. Eat in kitchen with all you need for a home cook meal. Bath with large shower stall, hair dryer, soaps and shampoos and soft, fresh towels. The living room provides a SMART TV, high speed internet, comfy sectional plus extra chairs.

Key code access is provided the day before for a simple, convient access.

AC and heat are controlled from my phone so please don't hesitate to message, text or call for any adjustment.

Kindly keep in mind that we are not a hotel and that our accommodations are offered as vacation rentals, so we’ll provide some bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper) and coffee/tea, paper towels and trash bags to get you started, however these items are not replenished during your stay. Should you require additional quantities of these items, you can find them (and much more) available at any store nearby.
