Also not annoying enough to take away a star once we knew how to deal with the glitch. This apartment was stocked with anything you could possibly need for your stay! The only thing missing for me was an iron. We would most definitely stay at this location again in the future! "

Felt pretty safe walking around day or night, however there are more homeless or people hanging out on street than i expected -- not a condo responsibility. The only issues i had were that there was no soap for the shower and no tissues. Would have brought my own soap or bath gel had i known but had to go out and buy both. There was plenty of other supplied laundry, dishwasher, cleaning, liquid hand soaps and towels. Tip: There is a free trolley called the Connector. To access Unit 3, you’ll use a private exterior entry that leads into a shared stairwell. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find doors to two apartments. Your unit’s door is clearly marked for easy identification, ensuring privacy while maintaining convenient access to your space.

Front Room:
This spacious entry area features a dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, and external monitor, ideal for remote work or study. It also includes a cozy dining nook with a table and chairs, perfect for meals or coffee breaks.

Living Area:
Bright and inviting, the living area is the perfect spot to relax, featuring an Amish-made love seat, accent chair, and a Roku TV with access to your favorite streaming services. When it’s time to rest, the queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress promises a great night’s sleep. The sleeping area feels private yet connected to the open flow of the space. A large dresser and closet provide ample storage, and all linens, sheets, and blankets are included for your convenience.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped for hassle-free meal prep, the kitchen boasts original wood cabinetry and everything you need: a stove, microwave, coffee maker, air popcorn popper, and pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and more. Essentials like mixing bowls, bakeware, pot holders, hand towels, and a starter supply of dish soap and paper towels are provided to make your stay easier.

Bathroom:

While typical for urban neighborhoods, this setup is best suited for tenants comfortable with street parking in a bustling area.

The unit’s large windows, dressed with linen curtains and bamboo blinds, fill the space with natural light, while the dark hardwood floors add warmth and character. Archways elegantly separate the distinct spaces, creating an airy and inviting atmosphere.

Guests have full access to Unit 3, a private, fully furnished studio apartment located on the second floor of a charming 1960s-era quadplex.
To access the unit, guests will use a private exterior entry that leads to a shared stairwell. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find the doors to Unit 3 and another apartment (Unit 4). Your unit’s door will be clearly marked for easy identification, ensuring privacy and convenience.

In addition to the apartment, guests have access to the shared, coin-operated washer and dryer located in the basement of the building. The laundry area is easily accessible via an interior stairwell and is shared with other tenants in the quadplex.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy the small, partially fenced-in backyard.

Parking is street parking only and located on the north side of East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. Guests will need to cross the road to access the quadplex on the south side.

Other things to note
All the tenants in this quadplex, as well as their pets, are quiet and respectful, making for a peaceful living environment. A quiet tenant would be an excellent match for this setting and is much appreciated by everyone in the building.

Despite the busy road and close neighbors, Unit 3 is tucked away at the back of the building, offering a surprisingly peaceful and quiet retreat, sheltered from the sounds of traffic. This unique setup provides the best of both worlds—urban convenience with a tranquil living space.

Heating and Air
Unit 3 is equipped to keep you comfortable throughout the year. The building features the original radiator heating system, which provides steady warmth during the colder months. The heat is turned on in late fall and turned off in early spring, depending on the weather. For added convenience, a space heater is also provided, ensuring extra comfort if needed.

While there is no central air, a large window air conditioner is installed during the summer months to keep the unit cool and comfortable. A building boiler heater keeps the all the units heated in the winter time via radiator heat. These thoughtful features are designed to ensure you feel right at home, no matter the season.

Please note that for long-term stays (28 days or more), a lease agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking approval. This lease outlines specific terms of your stay and complies with local rental laws. If the lease is not signed within the required timeframe, the booking may be subject to cancellation. It is located within walking distance of UC, minutes from the hospitals and Cinti State, and a short ride downtown!

Other things to note
The Penthouse, and the entire house in general, is not child friendly, due to having many steps to climb, and our desire to allow all our guests to have a calm, quiet stay. No children under 15 allowed without specific permission from The SuperHost.

Lookout is a prestigious area with great restaurants and shopping; easy access to I-71, Downtown, major hospitals and University of Cincinnati; building within walking distance of Ault Park, Mt. Lookout Square and Hyde Park Square. This is one of 11 units in a Spanish style building constructed in 1929. The fully furnished apartment is perfect for couples visiting family, corporate relocation and business travelers. Includes: TV, linens, kitchenware, tableware and small appliances.

This 650 sq/ft one bedroom apartment is one of 11 in the building. It on the first floor of three stories. All the rooms (living room, dining room, bedroom) are fully furnished, the kitchen includes the basic utensils, appliances and tableware, linens are provided for the bedroom and bathroom.
