Welcome to "Thee Hidden Pearl" at Barren River Lake, Kentucky. It has a very private 400 sq. ft. suite, with fantastic view overlooking the lake. Located merely six miles from Beaver Creek boat ramp with campground, dock, and Beach area; as well as being convenient to Barren River State Park, and gas stations. Be sure to bring your camera along for watching the bald eagles fly around the lake..
This lake is managed by the Army Corp. of Engineers. The water level is regulated to be at summer levels from May through the middle of October.

From the middle of October until the first part of May, the lake is at its winter level and most private docks on the lake are unusable. During this time, the lake cannot be seen from this property.

The lakebed is still a fun place to walk and there is a small creek that flows year round. During the summer, the lake level stays fairly constant unless there are heavy rains or extreme drought. Because of this, we cannot guarantee what the water level will be. Please ask questions if you have any.

Imagine drinking your morning coffee on the front porch overlooking the lake on the country ridge, just before heading off for a morning hike or a quick 18 holes at the State Park.

Regardless of how you spend your time during your stay, this vacation rental will keep you coming back again and again!

- "This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was located from the camp site before we traveled to the camp site. By the time we arrived the owner had built an outdoor shower and private area for the toilet. The shower had hot and cold water. The owner hauld water to us in a big plastic container. What a nice thing for him to do for us. He had cut up enough firewood for us to burn the whole time we were there. He told us if that was not enough, he would cut more up for us. He had trimmed the grass around the camp site by the dear stand. This was nice because we had a tent that we put up. My bf had his radio on in his truck and it ran our battery down. The truck would not start. We text the owner and he quickly came and jumped our truck free of charge. The owner gave us tips on protecting ourselves from ticks. The owner is very friendly and aiming to please. We want to come back next year."

This space includes three dedicated rooms, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. There is a TV in the room, but we have "cut the cord" and offer a selection of over the air channels. Our attitude is that our guests come to Bowling Green to do more than watch TV, so we save you the cost of expensive cable service.
If you have more than two people staying in the room, we can provide an air mattress, as we only have one queen bed.

During your stay
David is our innkeeper. He lives on the first floor in unit 3. He handles all booking requests, keeps the place secure, and is there to assist with your needs during your stay.

- Prospective Airbnb guests must have a bio (“Describe Yourself”) section in their profile, and a face photo. No dog or kid photos allowed. We need to make sure the guest who arrives is the guest who booked.

Paris paradise apartment is a perfect getaway within 10 minutes walking distance to DOWNTOWN and WKU! Enjoy a perfect spot to either relax in our Paris themed space or tailgate for WKU football in the spacious backyard! It is a 10 minute drive to the Corvette museum and just under an hour to NASHVILLE!!!
We would love to have extended stay guests as well! (Please note that this unit is located on the 2nd floor of a historic home).

The space
The space is a historic home divided into 3 private condos, each with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and patio, and secure private entry! Paris paradise condo area is on the second floor of this historic home!

Guest access
Guests have a private entry through the front door and up the stairs. The "condo" Paris Paradise is the second on the right! In which there is a secure lock with a unique pin to every guest to ensure the utmost amount of safety and security! Guests have access to the back yard as well!

Please contact us if you’d like the air conditioning temperature changed. We’re happy to do so.

There is only 1 bed that will comfortably sleep 2. Additional guests are welcome to sleep on the large sectional couch (please note that it is NOT a pull out). Additional linens can be found in bottom drawer of dresser. Extra pillows are located in the bedroom closet.

- Prospective Airbnb guests must have a bio (“Describe Yourself”) section in their profile, and a face photo. Please do not use a photo of an animal or child. We want to confirm that the guest who arrives is the same one responsible for booking. Airbnb is built on trust.

- We want a five star review! So do you! We promise respect and courtesy. Please return the favor.

- We may require you to sign a simple lease upon arrival to keep us in compliance with government regulations. If you do not wish to sign a lease, you are required to pay an additional premium including but not limited to 6% sales tax for your first month’s stay.

-- Be sure to ALWAYS Lock the door whenever you leave or enter the house and NEVER share any lock combinations with unauthorized persons.

- NO SMOKING. In order to sure insure future guests the luxury of clean, breathable air, please refrain from smoking of any kind while on the property.

- A washer and dryer can be found in the unit. Your linens will be clean when you arrive but we do not offer a daily maid service.

- Only one car per reservation allowed in the parking area. If you expect visitors, please make arrangements with owner prior to arrival.

- Please wash and dry any dishes and place them back where they belong. Dirty dishes may result in additional fees or forfeiture of deposit.

- Please leave the area as clean as possible after use. This helps keep our cost down for future reservations.

- Be respectful of other residents. Kindness matters! No loud or disruptive behavior is allowed. Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. Between those hours, always assume your neighbor is sleeping. Keep noise to a minimum.

- No pets or animals are allowed. Pets may involve additional charges or forfeiture of deposit.

- Parties or group gatherings are not permitted. Two or three people can be a party. Registered guests ONLY.

- Illegal activity will not be tolerated. No drugs or underage drinking on the property. Loud and obnoxious behavior is grounds for immediate removal.

- Help us save energy. Even though the host pays for utilities, you are expected to use only the utilities you need. If you leave your room for a long period, take measures to assure you room won’t be wasting energy. Leave your HVAC unit turned off (in Spring or Fall) or at 75 degrees (Summer) or at 65 degrees (Winter) when you leave.

- Do not move furniture without permission. Movement of furniture causes wear and tear. You may scratch the floors and damage the furniture. If you do re-arrange the furniture, you must move it back to where it was, or you will entail a $50 fee.

• Empty garbage when the can fills or when there is an odor. Garbage bags will be provided. Please confirm dumpster location with owner. Garbage is to be placed in the garbage bin upon leaving.

• After the initial provision, supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning supplies are the responsibility of the resident. Contact us if you have an urgent need.
