25 minutes from downtown Nashville. Plenty of good food and shopping centers close by and a fishing area with in minutes for outdoor activities. Pool is available daily until 9 pm. Very private Gatlinburg like location on 10 gorgeous acres just outside of the Gallatin city limits, about 15 minutes from Hendersonville, and about 30 minutes NE of Nashville. Enjoy your own private suite with two private bedrooms and private bathroom, private kitchen, private living area, private laundry, and private outdoor deck. The space is above our garage, and we do live on the property. Also, there are some fine dining establishments on the square in historic Gallatin that are fantastic.

We invite you to enjoy or quest-house suite! This is a 750sq ft studio apartment, equipped with everything you will need to have the perfect stay. The studio is attached to our home, but you have your own private entrance- the studio was built to give guests their own kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, and bedroom. Key features include: a private bathroom with a brand new gorgeous walk-in tile shower, an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings to optimize the space, as well as custom built kitchen with everything you need!

You are free to use any space/area of the fenced in backyard that you would like. We do have a 13 year old dog that weighs about 25lbs who goes in and out of his doggy door at his leisure, please be mindful not to let him out of the fence. Please do not allow him into the studio, as we wish to keep this area dog hair and allergen free.

The pool is open May-September and closed October-April. You are welcome to use the pool at any time during the open season. Swim at your own discretion. This is our home, and we DO have occasional pool days when our busy schedules allow. There are multiple seating areas, so please make sure to enjoy the pool even if we are out there enjoying it too!

- "We paid $275 worth of cleaning fees only to come into an apartment with old food on the kitchen floor, dead bugs everywhere, and the bathtub drain covered in human hair and mold. When we mentioned it to the host they made no effort to remedy the situation. It sucks having to clean your vrbo the second you walk in the door so it is usable after spending so much money." - "We arrived and 15 minutes later we left. Trip was ruined! Beautiful and spacious guest quarters attached to large rustic lakefront cabin, with electric fireplace, gorgeous view of the lake and beautiful wooded backyard and creek, quick scenic walk to the lake, as property is lakefront. Swimming, boating, kayaking, (canoe and and paddle board provided). Bring your own boat; boat launch only two minutes away. Canoe and Paddle Board provided (and oars/life jackets also)--canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards can launch from lakeside at property.

The guest suite/in-law quarters of this large cabin house on a wooded lot by the lake has it's own private entrance, private balcony overlooking wooded area and lake, huge bathroom with huge tub, double vanity, shower, huge TV, sitting area, mini kitchenette (no sink, but with fridge, microwave, stocked with glassware, dishes, coffee maker, coffee/creamer/sweeteners/sugar provided). Bus tray provided for dirty dishes and two sink vanity, so everything you need for longer stays.

The guest quarters are on the end of the house, separated by a laundry room and kitchen, closets, bathroom, from the main house. There is a natural sound barrier and you shouldn't be affected by other people on the other side of the house. If you hear a conversation, it would be faint and rare, and totally drowned out if you keep on a fan for white noise, and so faint that you feel that your privacy is protected.

You have your own private entrance to your unit. You don't have to walk through anyone's living room to get to your space. You have a deck/balcony area immediately out your door that is for your private use. The screened in porch is for the use of other guests staying in the main house.

There is a lovable dog on premises. You can pet him, as he loves people and is very friendly. Or I can keep him totally away from you. It's your choice. It won't hurt my feelings if you are not a dog person. Let me know in advance and I can provide a close to dog free experience for you.

For swimming and boating it is recommended that you bring your own swimming shoes. They can be purchased at Walmart or online for about $10 a pair.

Here's what's provided for your boating experience: one canoe, three oars,
one paddle board, one oar and
life jackets.

There is a working jacuzzi system in the bathtub. However, due to previous abuse of the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi jets have been turned off at the main breaker. They are not available for guests' use.

For stays 30 days or longer $150 for utilities are collected in advance separate from the reservation. This covers high-speed internet, cable, water and sewer, trash, electric, and gas. This money is collected by the host through the Venmo app before your reservation begins.

Additional note: There is a working jacuzzi system in the bathtub. However, due to previous abuse of the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi jets have been turned off at the main breaker. They are not available for guests' use. The tub is not functional because of a leak. We are working on it and should have it fixed within a couple weeks, and the day that it’s fixed, we will remove this condition of the listing. But in the meantime, all guests can enjoy a wonderful modern bathroom with a wonderful shower per the photos.
