The host is very quick to communicate & address any issues, and the property is decorated with a spectacular eye for rustic elegance. All the amenities were satisfactory or better, TVs and Internet worked well, it has a very nice coffee bar and the super-spacious kitchen gave us plenty of room to prepare holiday dishes and mingle. The beds were very comfortable (one firmer and one softer), and the outdoor space was as advertised: we easily parked 3 cars with room for more. Nestled in the trees, we saw lots of bird activity! The driveway is a bit steep but it wasn't an issue for us, and the house is privately situated in a friendly farming community in a lovely, rural part of the state, but not too far from the bustling Nashville suburbs and only a few country miles (watch out for deer & other wildlife) from the towns of White House & Gallatin, where you can meet almost any restaurant and grocery needs etc. We would absolutely recommend this charming guest suite rental to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars+!!"

Tons of shopping opportunities and restaurants too. Michelle gave us some great recommendations. We tried out Demos and 393 Cafe - both were delicious! We didn't do any cooking while there but the RV had everything we would have needed. It was spacious and decorated to give a warm and cozy feeling. The bed was very comfortable! Here on our farm you can enjoy "The best of both worlds". After spending your day enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville and Middle Tennessee retreat to the fresh country air and serenity of this log cabin home. Sitting on a 5 acre private farm just 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the town of Cottontown, the cabin is conveniently only 10 minutes from I-65.

We have furnished the cabin with your comfort in mind. You will find a large open living area with a stone gas fireplace for chilly cozy evenings. There is a full kitchen with everything you'll need for home-cooked meals complete with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The main floor master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds plus, a loft with another twin bed, and a rollaway bed available upon request. The loft also has a desk for guest use with twin monitors and a 2nd full bath with a stand up shower. A washer & dryer are also provided for your convenience. Outside you can relax on one of two porches watching the cows graze.

Around the farm you will occasionally see deer making their way across the pasture. You will encounter rabbits too - especially at night. Our cows may come to the fence to see who is here.

Set with Mid Century style, the furniture is comfy and cozy — new!! This home has a small footprint and fun feel. It was built in the 50’s, so let’s be honest, it’s NOT a new home and has its quirks that I call character.

Original hardwood floors throughout the home with lots of mid century modern touches throughout. This home is near and dear to my heart as my grandmother lived next door for many, many years. We were blessed with the opportunity to own this gem and set forth to provide a space for travelers to visit our lovely hometown — and enjoy our space. Large backyard with massive back deck (lockable for doggos) and 3 concrete parking spaces.

We names the house “Soles on Factory” because of the old Genesco shoe factory. It’s said these row homes were built for the employees back then ( my Mema worked there -- her house is next door and available to book for additional guests!)

Keep in mind, it’s not a brand new shiny home - it’s been lived in and well taken care of, but has its quirks. The neighborhood is SAFE, my aunt literally lives across the street and a cop next door. Don’t let the lack of maintenance fool you down the road.

We’re working really hard to make upgrades for stays (aka paint touch ups, covering old plaster, replacing deck boards, etc.) and are open to your feedback! Just be nice ;) as you’ll be staying in 2018’s Nicest Place in America!

Laundry is now located in the Kitchen.

We have recently removed our favorite WHITE couch to make the space Dog Friendly with a leather couch that is wipeable. We invite you and your dog fam.

We have Fiber internet and are constantly collecting items for the home — furnishing an empty home is wild! So let us know if there’s anything missing we can add.

Also note, I’m pretty particular about the house and it’s cleanliness simply because it’s precious to us. If there are any stains when you arrive (let me know) or any stains when you leave, please let it be known that there will be a cleaning charge.

We also charge an additional $150 cleaning fee if there are any stains on the linens from nastiness - period. This is not a party pad, so treat it just like you’d treat your grandmothers house. Cause it was mine.

As for your dog friends, we want to keep this home in tip top shape for you as our guest! Be mindful that you MUST clean up after your four-legged friends.

We invite you to enjoy or quest-house suite! This is a 750sq ft studio apartment, equipped with everything you will need to have the perfect stay. The studio is attached to our home, but you have your own private entrance- the studio was built to give guests their own kitchen, living room, dining area, bathroom, and bedroom. Key features include: a private bathroom with a brand new gorgeous walk-in tile shower, an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings to optimize the space, as well as custom built kitchen with everything you need!

You are free to use any space/area of the fenced in backyard that you would like. We do have a 13 year old dog that weighs about 25lbs who goes in and out of his doggy door at his leisure, please be mindful not to let him out of the fence. Please do not allow him into the studio, as we wish to keep this area dog hair and allergen free.

The pool is open May-September and closed October-April. You are welcome to use the pool at any time during the open season. Swim at your own discretion. This is our home, and we DO have occasional pool days when our busy schedules allow. There are multiple seating areas, so please make sure to enjoy the pool even if we are out there enjoying it too!

This home is best and only approved for the solo traveler (one person.) There will be no additional guests on-site at your stay and we do not allow for visitors when booking. Mind you, this is a 5600sf home that you’ll have access to the primary suite with king bed, en-suite bathroom and office.

Beautiful and spacious guest quarters attached to large rustic lakefront cabin, with electric fireplace, gorgeous view of the lake and beautiful wooded backyard and creek, quick scenic walk to the lake, as property is lakefront. Swimming, boating, kayaking, (canoe and and paddle board provided). Bring your own boat; boat launch only two minutes away. Canoe and Paddle Board provided (and oars/life jackets also)--canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards can launch from lakeside at property.

The guest suite/in-law quarters of this large cabin house on a wooded lot by the lake has it's own private entrance, private balcony overlooking wooded area and lake, huge bathroom with huge tub, double vanity, shower, huge TV, sitting area, mini kitchenette (no sink, but with fridge, microwave, stocked with glassware, dishes, coffee maker, coffee/creamer/sweeteners/sugar provided). Bus tray provided for dirty dishes and two sink vanity, so everything you need for longer stays.

The guest quarters are on the end of the house, separated by a laundry room and kitchen, closets, bathroom, from the main house. There is a natural sound barrier and you shouldn't be affected by other people on the other side of the house. If you hear a conversation, it would be faint and rare, and totally drowned out if you keep on a fan for white noise, and so faint that you feel that your privacy is protected.

You have your own private entrance to your unit. You don't have to walk through anyone's living room to get to your space. You have a deck/balcony area immediately out your door that is for your private use. The screened in porch is for the use of other guests staying in the main house.

There is a lovable dog on premises. You can pet him, as he loves people and is very friendly. Or I can keep him totally away from you. It's your choice. It won't hurt my feelings if you are not a dog person. Let me know in advance and I can provide a close to dog free experience for you.

For swimming and boating it is recommended that you bring your own swimming shoes. They can be purchased at Walmart or online for about $10 a pair.

Here's what's provided for your boating experience: one canoe, three oars,
one paddle board, one oar and
life jackets.

There is a working jacuzzi system in the bathtub. However, due to previous abuse of the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi jets have been turned off at the main breaker. They are not available for guests' use.

For stays 30 days or longer $150 for utilities are collected in advance separate from the reservation. This covers high-speed internet, cable, water and sewer, trash, electric, and gas. This money is collected by the host through the Venmo app before your reservation begins.

Additional note: There is a working jacuzzi system in the bathtub. However, due to previous abuse of the jacuzzi, the jacuzzi jets have been turned off at the main breaker. They are not available for guests' use. The tub is not functional because of a leak. We are working on it and should have it fixed within a couple weeks, and the day that it’s fixed, we will remove this condition of the listing. But in the meantime, all guests can enjoy a wonderful modern bathroom with a wonderful shower per the photos.

Unwind in Gallatin at this brilliant accessory building with an open concept, concrete floors, with 2 sleeping areas- one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed where guests can enjoy a soothing night's sleep. - "We have family living in Gallatin and were not interested in staying in Nashville so this was a great location for us. It is on a quiet country road that is still close enough to grocery stores and restaurants to make for a short drive to get anywhere or anything we needed. The owner was very kind and responsive to all of our needs while we were staying there. The big kitchen and dining table were nice for serving dinner to our family, and the outdoor area was great for gathering as well. The only disappointment was the bed linens and towels, which were not as new and clean as to be expected from an expensive property. Overall, we had a good stay."

Located inside Gallatin Marina and neighbor to Old Hickory Lake- This charming mobile home is nestled in the shade with dining, live entertainment and lake views just minutes from the front door.

Enjoy a Sunday brunch or dinner at Awedaddy’s Restaurant (seasonal closed October-March) located within walking distance. Known for their Waylon burger and famous Bushwhacker, Awedaddy’s features live entertainment Thursday-Sunday on the patio. Music can be heard from the property.

Visit downtown Gallatin for some coffee and local shopping- our guidebook offers recommendations for some favorites. Swing by our local Farmers Market on Saturday morning for handmade soaps, baked goods and plenty of fresh produce.

Take a short 1 mile drive to Lock Four Park to see some of Tennessee’s wildlife and beautiful views of Old Hickory Lake. This park also offers biking trails.

Learn to paddle board and take a class with Nashville SUP & Yoga or take advantage of boat rentals available at Gallatin Marina.

Cruisin’ Tikis Nashville is also located at Gallatin Marina and is a fun and exciting tour on Old Hickory Lake. Check their website for more information on cruise schedules and prices.

Hiking, boating, fishing, a playground and two public launch ramps are within a mile of your stay. 30 minutes to downtown Nashville and 30 minutes to the airport. This getaway truly has something to offer everyone!

The guest suite/in-law quarters of this large cabin house on a wooded lot by the lake has it's own private entrance, private balcony overlooking wooded area and lake, huge bathroom, double vanity, shower, huge TV, sitting area, mini kitchenette (no sink, but with fridge, microwave, stocked with glassware, dishes, coffee maker, coffee/creamer/sweeteners/sugar provided). Bus tray provided for dirty dishes and two sink vanity, so everything you need for longer stays.

Each principal renter must be 21 years of age.

*The guest quarters are on the end of the house, separated by a laundry room and kitchen, closets, bathroom, from the main house. There is a natural sound barrier and you shouldn't be affected by other people on the other side of the house. Even "if" you hear a conversation, it would be faint and rare, and totally drowned out if you keep on a fan for white noise, and so faint that you feel that your privacy is protected. The rest of the home is rented and sometimes has guests. You will have complete privacy. The only places are the driveway, yard and laundry room.

*You have your own private entrance to your unit. To enter, you will go up a flight of stairs and enter through the door on the back deck. You don't have to walk through anyone's living room to get to your space. You have a deck/balcony area immediately out your door that is for your private use. The screened in porch is for the use of other guests staying in the main house. That door is kept closed and there is a privacy scene, so that you don't see them and they don't see you.

*There is a cute cuddly lovable dog on premises. You can pet him, as he loves people and is very friendly. Or I can keep him totally away from you. It's your choice. It won't hurt my feelings if you are not a dog person. Let me know in advance and I can provide a close to dog free experience for you.

*For swimming and boating it is recommended that you bring your own "lake shoes" or swimming shoes. They can be purchased at Walmart or online for about $10 a pair.

*Here's what's provided for your boating experience: one canoe, three oars,
one paddle board, one oar and life jackets. Please note that these items are not officially listed as part of the house's amenities. They are additional items provided for guests to enjoy and may be subject to outdoor conditions.

*If you need to bring a trailer with you, please ask for approval prior to arrival.

*The tub is not in use. It work but because of previous abuse from previous guest, the water and the jets have been disconnected but in the meantime, all guests can enjoy a wonderful modern bathroom with a wonderful shower per the photos.

*If you have the windows or doors open, please do not run the air conditioner or the heater, as this will throw off the system.

*Please note that the chairs located in the backyard are part of the outdoor area and are subject to natural elements. While we do not have a dedicated maintenance team for the outdoor furniture, we strive to provide a comfortable environment for our guests.

*To ensure your comfort, we recommend spraying the chairs down before use if you notice any insects. Insect spray can be found in the utility closet for your convenience.

*There may be laundry in the dryer. This is because the housekeeper works to get the unit ready as soon as possible for your potential early arrival. If you need to use the dryer, simply take the pile of clean laundry and set it to the side. There is no reason for you to fold the laundry. Please don't use towels or sheets that are left in the dryer. There will be plenty available to you for your use during your stay.

*$150 per month utilities are collected in advance separate from the reservation for any stays 30 days or longer. This covers high-speed internet, water and sewer, trash, electric, and gas. This money is collected by the host through the Airbnb app before your reservation begins.

Occasionally, packages may be delivered to the property to assist with its maintenance and upkeep. In rare instances, we may kindly ask you to bring a package inside for safekeeping. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us ensure the home remains in great condition.

Xfinity Wi-Fi, large fenced in back yard, keyless entry, 3 bedroom/2 full bath, with queen-size beds and TV in each room. Master suite has walk-in closet. Large deck with grill and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Front porch offers covered sitting on comfortable evenings.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware, pots, pans and numerous appliances both large and small. Extra hangers, blankets, sheets, and pillows are in each closet. If you have a pet, we can discuss on a case by case basis. Insurance prohibits certain types of animals, breeds.
