This home has an open floor plan that is designed for gathering together and enjoying the time to unwind. The living / dining / kitchen area is open and has direct access to the covered back deck + view of the private lake.

The downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, the upstairs loft has two queens to sleep a total of 6

- "The house and back deck was perfect for 10 ladies. We had room to spread out and the 2 big tables were perfect for games. The cabin is old and is probably as clean as it can get, which was fine. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. They have a drip coffee pot and a Keurig, huge fridge and lots of pots and pans. The host was also very responsive to questions I had after we booked. We will definitely stay here again!"

Other things to note
Late check ins are not preferred as it disturbs other guests staying on our campground. If you are running late to check in past 9:00pm, please call the host rather than text to see if other arrangements can be made. Smooth Rapids has a great restaurant right on site. The menu is on their website and social media pages. They have a good draft beer selection featuring local breweries as well as most of your favorites. Burgers and wings are fan favorites. Ask about the River Monster Sandwich! Restaurant is kid friendly.

This one bedroom apartment is located on our 10 acre farm. It's in our garage on the bottom floor. It has an eat in kitchen ,one bathroom (located in the bedroom). We provide cable TV and wi-fi. Our property is a 30min drive from Rock island state park, Cumberland caverns, the Stone door and many adventurous places.

Brand new Basement being offered to guests that prefer a low key stay for a lesser price. Please note that guests upstairs may be present, but are asked to respect noise levels (as are you). However, you'll barely be inside as this house on the River offers endless outdoor activities and the location is central to hiking, waterfalls and all the activities you could want. Quick walk to downtown or to the dam where the River Walk, park, dog park and frisbee golf await you. Please keep in mind that the covered porch is for upstairs guests exclusively. However, enjoy the grill and firepit area anytime as these are shared spaces.

The house was built in 1873 and is known as the Burroughs home. We are located walking distance from the Historic Downtown McMinnville where you can find lots of great restaurants and unique shopping experiences.

This historic house offers large spacious rooms with old architectural charm.

We have industrial UV Germicidal Lights on our central unit intake and output air, which clean the air by inhibiting bacteria, viruses, mold, and pathogen growth.

The listing says entire place but this house is over 3,000 sq foot. Your actually getting about 1400 sq ft as the upstairs is not included (it is used for storage)


Your stay will include the following areas private to you:

King suite guest room, that includes a cozy king bed, Victorian sofa facing the fireplace, in room mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and TV.
When you arrive you will find complimentary cold bottled water in your mini fridge, as well as a snack basket in your room.

Victorian living room that includes many items to look at from this era of time. Including taxidermy animals and insects, antiques, books, and oddities from the era of mysticism, two sofas, 4 chairs and a desk.

We provide luxury towels and a bathrobe, toiletries and hair dryer. There is also a makeup vanity in the bathroom to sit at while you get ready. (156 sq ft)

Guests can also enjoy relaxing out back under the shade tree. We have a platform deck with a three tier waterfall with Koi fish.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need including two ovens, microwave and a large island with plug strip including usb plugs and three seats. There is a tv located in the kitchen. (317 sq ft)

The back living room has a sofa, two chairs and a day bed with a trundle. There is also a smart tv.

We have surveillance cameras on site, but there are no cameras in the sleeping areas or bathroom for your privacy. We have a sign posted on the front door as to surveillance on premises. We provide robes in the bathroom and bedroom for your convenience.

Other things to note
Your privacy is very important to us. If you would like to socialize with us that is great! If you prefer your privacy we respect that also. There are security cameras on the front porch, Victorian room, and kitchen. We offer free high speed internet. Smart tv’s are located in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. This is your home away from home and our goal is that you are comfortable.

Check in is at 3:00pm. If you think you may arrive sooner, please contact us to see if the room is ready for possible early check in.

We take cleaning seriously, so checkout is promptly at 11am. This is to ensure we have plenty of time to disinfect, sanitize and clean thoroughly for every guest. We understand things happen, so please contact us to let us know if you need more time for checkout. You must make prior authorization for a late checkout. If you do not make a prior authorization of late checkout and stay longer than the 11am checkout time, you will be charged $50 per hour after the 11am checkout time until you have checked out. Cleaners will arrive by 1pm to start cleaning on your checkout day.

Built by the host's grandparents in the 1940s, The Farm House is nestled in a rural valley along the Cumberland Plateau. Guests looking for a quiet vacation in a country setting can also enjoy features like Wifi and cell reception. Despite its remote location, The Farm House is just 10 minutes from the town of McMinnville and just 5 miles from Cumberland Caverns, 10 miles from Rock Island State Park, 15 miles from Isha USA, and 25 miles from Fall Creek Falls State Park.

The space
Relax and enjoy a slice of country living at The Farm House. The property is literally surrounded by farmland and mountains. Guests will be in awe of the starry nights, quiet setting, and beautiful countryside that is Pleasant Cove.

Inside the house, we have three bedrooms: two downstairs with queen-sized beds and a loft with two queen beds. Guests will have access to a washer and dryer, WiFi, flatscreen TV with a Roku (be sure and remember your passwords for Netflix, Hulu, Sling, etc as there is NO CABLE OR SATELLITE TV), a fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (and filters), and toaster. In the yard, there's a fire pit (bring your own firewood), picnic table, and tire swing. Under a large carport, guests will find a porch swing, plenty of seating, grill/smoker, and a beautiful view.

Other things to note
There is an outdoor camera installed under the carport that has a view of the main door and driveway. We feel this helps us insure our and our guests’ safety and security.

Also, guests must understand this is an old rural farmhouse in the south. Expect the floors to creak a little and steep stairs to the loft. The occasional fly, spider, wasp, ladybug, mouse, etc. might show up. There are slabs of limestone in and around the yard that you might trip on. We’d move them, but they’re like icebergs; most are the size of a car or larger. It’s also very dark at night. We have lights under the carport but no security light in the yard which makes for great star-gazing.

Beautiful cottage on the corner of Highway 56 and Grassy Ridge Road in historic Beersheba Springs. Great outdoor getaway for those seeking adventure. Savage Gulf State Park is nearby with miles of hiking trails and waterfalls. Feel free to explore the property, adjacent to the roadside park. The cottage is in the heart of the historic district and walking tour maps are available.
THE CAVERNS music venue is 23.4 miles from the cottage via scenic Hwy 50.

The space
The McGee Cottage is perfect for relaxing nights on the screened-in porch, fully equipped with a dining table and daybed.

Beersheba Springs is a remote historic mountain village with one grocery/gas/cafe. Feel free to bring what you need for your stay. The nearest towns are McMinnville and Monteagle.

The clean mountain air is one of the hallmarks of Beersheba. We generally keep the windows open during the warmer months and with fans the cottage and screened porch stay very comfortable. However, for those warmer summer nights the cottage has window air conditioners which will chill you to your heart’s desire.

The home is located on a large private wooded lot. The home is a duplex each side rents separate as short term rentals. Each side is autonomous except for sharing a sidewalk and parking. Each side has 1382 sq fr of living area.

BATHROOMS- downstairs is a full bathroom with a shower tub combination. The upstairs bathroom does NOT have a shower - tub only. The upstairs bathroom has a low ceiling which makes it difficult for taller guests. Towels and sheets are provided.

SUPPLIES -Each bathroom has one roll of toilet paper, a small sample size soap, and shampoo. The kitchen is provided with one roll of paper towels. A couple of dishwashing pods and detergents pods for the washer are provided. Any additional supplies should be provided by guests.

Please be aware that this is a working family farm. The property you will be staying in is completely fenced off from the animals. If you wish to have a closer look, we would be happy to take you in the RTV for a ride around the property to see the animals (Subject to our availability lining up with yours). We are living in the house to the left and milk two dairy cows twice a day. You will very likely hear animal noises. The barns are under construction, but should be finishing up soon.

The cabin has approximately 1400 square feet and is fully furnished with full kitchen and more. Hiking trails and fishing pond only a short walk away. Several major state parks with hikes within a few miles of the cabin. The cabin has fiber optic WiFi which is not shared. Pet cats not allowed; we are allergic.

The space
You will be in the country. it is quiet with dark, starry nights here. Our cozy, quiet cabin will be enjoyed by the whole family. The upstairs has 2 queen size beds plus we have blow up mattresses, sleeping bags, and lots of linens for extra guests. Washer and dryer hooked up in the cabin for your convenience. High speed fiber optic WiFi dedicated only to the cabin. Cable TV available for your entertainment. A propane gas grill is also provided for outdoor cooking.

You will have access to the entire cabin for your stay. It consists of an upstairs loft with two queen-size beds on either side of the cabin. Cabin has a living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. It also has a wrap around covered porch front with a swing, and an open deck in the back with an outdoor table and chairs. The driveway goes to the steps leading to the cabin for easy access.

Other things to note
We decorate the cabin lightly for any holidays: Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Reminder, we do not allow parties or other large group events at our properties.
Also, feel free to use other parts of our property. Go down the back yard and take the short path, through the woods, to our deluxe sun room which we call our Storm Room. There you can talk or visit with family and friends in comfortable chairs out of the weather. Also, you can use our cliff side deck and there is a deluxe outhouse near both. The outhouse has a flush toilet, shower and sink. Please note the outhouse is closed in the winter months.

We have transformed this home to our Patriot's Retreat by using motivational pictures, posters, flags representing our military, but also exemplifying American Exceptionalism in many other areas. The living room has a gas log fireplace to add warmth to the room on the upcoming cool fall nights. We have 2 full size bathrooms upstairs and downstairs for your convenience. Plenty of space for two couples with two separate bedrooms. We believe you will really enjoy the decor of the home, which we hope will uplift your spirits.

You will have full access to the entire home along with the 3-plus acres surrounding it. We have also built a deck on the cliff edge with a beautiful view of the valley below. You also have access to a room we built a couple of years ago we call the "Storm Room." It will provide you with another view of the valley, but it also has pictures on the wall of different seasonal views of the property. It could be a quiet place to read a book or just take a nap in one of our comfortable chairs. We also have an outhouse close by with a flush toilet and sink with hot and cold water. Behind the house there is a 2 mile trail we encourage you explore.

Other things to note
We have provided coffee and a coffee maker along with the condiments. This home also has a large refrigerator and freezer for your use. In addition, Patriot's Retreat is our only rental that has an automatic dishwasher. Of course you have a washer and dryer in the utility room just off the kitchen.

If you like to hike we have state parks within 10-12 miles of Patriot's Retreat. On those trails many of them have water falls and all provide breath-taking scenery. There are beginner to intermediate hiking trails in the immediate area. Fall Creek Falls is approximately 40 minutes from Patriot's Retreat. If you are a golfer Fall Creek Falls I believe was rated the 2nd best pubic course in Tennessee.

In summary, shop for your food for your stay in advance and bring your hiking boots, so you can enjoy the great outdoors whether you decided to hike one of the state park trails or stay on your back deck and enjoy the wooded valley below. Please visit us soon.

This precious cottage is located right beside the farmhouse that sits on a one hundred acre farm. We recently acquired this property and converted the owners antique shop into this cottage. Enjoy the large porch with rockers and a swing and in the backyard, there are goats and chickens.
