The space
The Tallahatchie Townhouse is designed with a contemporary interior but still carries the old charm on the exterior. The yard that surrounds the entire home with parking for 2-3 cars in the front and parking for 1 car on the side pad. Plus, additional parking in the back, if needed. The entire property is very spacious and open. Included in your stay is complimentary access to Netflix, Smart TVs in all bedrooms & living room, and the only listing in New Albany that is located ON the Tanglefoot Trail. Enjoy a glass of wine, or just relax, on the spacious front porch or back yard.
Guest access
Guest are permitted to access and enjoy all areas of the house. Parking in New Albany is abundant, so you can park and walk around the Downtown area during your stay or easily drive anywhere in New Albany. It's very easy to get around!

Like most other Airbnbs in New Albany, the Tallahatchie Townhouse is located in a developing neighborhood. Since the development of the Tanglefoot Trail, there has been a lot of growth in the neighborhood. Our caretakers live next door, and we have several other properties in the neighborhood. So, you may see some houses and buildings under re-developement.

If you're looking to move to New Albany, there is a very nice, new development across the Tanglefoot Trail and to the right (if you're standing on the front porch of the Tallahatchie Townhouse).

For Starters, you will be greeted with a fresh pan of Talbot Cinnamon Rolls.* For stays three nights and longer, you will also find a cheese, meat, cracker platter in the fridge. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker(drip and K-Cup) with coffee! The fridge is stocked with water, juice and sparkling water.

This 70's era home has been immaculately cared for and has the comfort of 3 Bedrooms, two bathrooms, Living Room, and a complete kitchen. We opened The Heights in December of 2020. The Heights has a cozy front yard and a huge backyard. This property sits on a ridge in Tupelo, MS one of the highest points in the city. The house has the original wood floors and new ceramic in the kitchen and bathrooms.

The Heights is 2 miles from I- 22 & Hwy 45; 15 min drive to Toyota; 1 mile drive to the Elvis Presley birthplace & museum; Veteran's Park; Tupelo Aquatic Center; 1.5 miles from Historic Downtown; 10 miles to the Tupelo Furniture Market & Buffalo Park; 1 hour from MSU & Ole Miss campuses. This home has a fire pit in the back with outdoor seating and grill.(firewood provided for our guest at no cost.) It has a cozy reading corner (or knitting) in the living area. This property is very spacious and open. While there are antiques accenting the house, this property comes with all new bedding and all new appliances (stove, refrigerator, dish washer, microwave, coffee maker and washer and dryer.) This property has been recently updated and the bathrooms have been totally renovated. One bathroom has a soaker tub and the other bathroom has a walk in shower.

The house is decorated with Tupelo history including, but not limited to: Elvis, Tupelo Fairgrounds, Ruff's Dairy, Johnny's Drive In, Dudies Diner, Carnation Milk Plant, Chickasaw Nation, Black History, Lyric Theatre, Dixie Bell Theatre, Shake Rag, TVA, President Roosevelt, photos, memorabilia and much more.

The Heights has an assortment of board games, chess, corn hole and more.

The record player in the reading nook plays vinyl records. Please feel free to open any of the records. It is also a blue tooth and you can connect your phone to play music from your phone.

There are TVs in the living room and in all three bedrooms. There are no local channels, however they are smart TVs using the internet with many streaming options.

Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are provided.

The host will be available for any special needs and lives on the adjacent property for your convenience.
The house has security cameras on the outside only for your protection.

If Talbot's are not available, Brooks or Love Lee will be available. Talbot House Cinnamon Rolls are made here in Tupelo. Talbot House Bakery & Café is the social enterprise of Talbot House, a nonprofit transition program for women. The Bakery & Cafe provides employment and job readiness to their ladies who are in early recovery from substance abuse.

Their mission is: recovery, community and purpose! Thank you for helping us help our residents find recovery, build a community of support, and find their purpose.

No parking on lawn. There is space for one car in carport and at least three cars on driveway. If there is a need for more parking, there is extra parking space in front of the wood building to the left of the house. Guest will have the entire house at their disposal.

For month long stays and longer, there is a $10.00 per day cleaning fee after the first week which will be billed separately. Housekeeping will clean once per week.

Located in Historic Mill Town and near the famous rail tracks of Tupelo, step right on in and open the plantation shutters to a light and bright brand- new bungalow cottage filled with mid -century modern, bohemian and 70’s Hippy vibes. You will find a record player with some 70s and other good music, a few lava lamps, a salt rock lamp, and lots of conversation pieces.
We are close to everything in downtown Tupelo.
The space
You will find the Elvis room at the end of the hallway featuring soft baby blue walls and a blue velvet king size bed and blue velvet shower curtain. You will find a beautiful picture of the King sitting proudly over the bed.

In addition, we have a Queen bed and a bedroom with 2 twin beds.

We have Nector hybrid mattress in all bedrooms.

The most fun that you may find is the hot tub located on the patio outback under a beautiful blanket of string lights for your relaxation pleasure.

We offer complementary snacks and drinks for our guest. In the kitchen, you will find a Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of K-Cups, as well as a drip coffee maker, with coffee, creamer, & stevia. An air fryer is also available.

Smart TV's are in each room with cast feature to stream your favorite shows, and Netflix is included.

Rest assured there is not access between the office and the Airbnb. This is a private space. There may be chances we see each other in the parking areas, but I am small firm (employee count: 1) and usually out of the office.

Upstairs you will find 2 queen size bedrooms, a full bath and the game room which has bunk beds. We are centrally located between Tupelo and Pontotoc. 10 minutes to The City of Tupelo or Pontotoc, 40 minutes to Oxford- home of the Ole Miss Rebels, 60-70 min to Starkville (MS State Bulldogs) and only an hour 15 to Memphis.

Our neighborhood is located in the heart of Tupelo and offers easy access to Downtown and the Barnes Crossing shopping districts. It's an easy five-minute walk to several restaurants, a local butcher shop with farmer's market and a liquor store.

I travel frequently for work so I know how important it is for your Airbnb to be well furnished! In the kitchenette, there's a microwave, mini fridge (with complimentary bottles of water) and a clean Keurig (with a selection of K cups, creamer, sugar and even some snacks). In the bathroom, there's everything you'll find at a nice hotel including soft towels, bath & hand soap, shampoo and body lotion.

-Pets are allowed but it should be disclosed during the reservation. The pet / emotional support animal fee is $28 per stay while service animals are free. The fee is to ensure the cleanliness & accommodation of the animal.

The chapel was formerly a wedding chapel, located in Pontotoc, MS and nestled between Tupelo (Elvis Birthplace) and Oxford (Ole Miss or The University of MS). Pontotoc is home the Bodock Festival, its on the Blues Trail, The center of The Rails to Trails Bike Trail and many antique stores. Located 8 miles from Toyota in Blue Springs, MS. We are 8 minutes from The Cherry Creek Orchard and 10 minutes to the Natchez Trace Parkway. If you golf we are 5 minutes from the golf course.

The space
The entire space has been remodeled from a former wedding chapel to a king Airbnb suite with an amazing outdoor paradise. TV's inside and outside, swing bed, outdoor sofa and chairs, dining table and chairs all under the covered pavilion. Inside is a king sized bed, a comfy sofa, and a reclining chair, a kitchenette, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The surroundings are beautiful gardens with fountains, lights, windchimes all surrounded by 100 year old cedar trees. Where the chapel is locals about 5 minutes to the golf course.

Guests have access to the chapel, the pavilion and the fireplace. There are tv's indoors and outdoors. Very comfortable, so come to relax. There is plenty of great foods around the area.

Other things to note
The fireplace comes with wood for your first fire. There are stores around that sell wood where you can get more. We are 4 miles from Walmart. If you are staying for more than 2 nights and you are a Walmart plus member, I will work together with you to have your delivery completed and inside. I will make sure your perishable things are in the refrigerator for your arrival. It’s all possible when we work together!

The space
Our guest house is attached to the carport. The main house that we live in is on the opposite side of the carport. You will have covered parking just a few steps away from the entrance. The sofa is also a futon/bed . We are centrally located and only a few miles from downtown, the hospital, local restaurants, the Ballard Park as well as the Natchez Trace. You may see us out in the yard tending the flowerbeds or hanging out on the back deck, but we respect our guests privacy and you will not be disturbed. My husband and I are available if you need anything.

We can accommodate 3 guests. The bed room has a king sized bed. The sofa in the living room is a futon/sleeper. Please know, we do not have a washer and dryer in the guest house. There is a brand new laundry facility 2 miles from the house that is very nice.

The space
Please read completely. Queen bed. Very private and lost in the hustle of the city. The main home is a historic Colonial built in 1890 with tons of local history and along with the neighborhood is on the National Historic Register. Located on a street with other historic homes which have been converted into offices, the neighborhood is fairly quite to be in the middle of downtown. The property is within walking distance of downtown Main Street restaurants, shopping, and events. The home is located a few blocks from the Bancorpsouth Arena and Fairpark. Guest have access to the pool when open. This property is not for pool parties, cookouts etc. Only the guest listed on the original booking are allowed on the property unless prior written consent is given by the owner.

Disclosures:

In an effort to be totally Honest about the property I have made a few disclosures based on previous guest stays. I do make every effort to continue the improvement of this property as finances allow. This list will change as the property changes. This is a wonderful property, however I want to be as transparent as possible before you book. Please note the following items:

-Pool is normally open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
-unfortunately this property is not currently handicap friendly. The walkway from parking area to the guest house is uneven, and there are several steps at the guest house porch.
-There is internet with Netflix access but not local cable.
-The main house on the property is a historic structure which we are wrapping up the renovation on.
-the person booking the property must be present for the stay.
-there is not cable TV, only WiFi with access to Netflix. This is stated several times.
-the shower is small and the tile in the bathroom has brown streaks in it. I promise it is not dirt, it’s the way the tile is made. Sorry, I wasn’t the one who picked it out.
-you are renting the guest house, not the whole property, access to the main house and garage on the property are not allowed
-there is no central HVAC. We have window units and space heaters which work very well.
-yes there is a hot tub on the property, but is does not work. It’s not listed nor shown in the photos for that reason. Hopefully one day the repairman fix it.
-winter months, due to the number of trees and vast size of the property , leaves will be on the ground until Spring. We do our best to keep the main walkways clear, but patios and yard are an impossible task. Leaves are cleaned up during spring.
-the landscaping in the back is beautiful during the spring and summer, but not so much in the fall and winter as most of it dies back.
-there is not room service nor cleaning each day. The property is cleaned between each guest’s stay.
-All liens are white so they can be bleached. Everything is bleached between guest, if you have an allergy To bleach please alert me ahead of your stay and I will do my best to accommodate.

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is in a quiet tree covered neighborhood within 1/4 mile of the Elvis Presley birthplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to enjoy your home cooked meals. Hardwood floors throughout the house. One bath has a shower stall and the other has a tub and shower. The downstairs apartment is occupied by the on site hostess who uses the kitchen when we have no guests. You will have the entire upstairs all to yourself during your stay.

The space
This is a comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of off street parking. All rooms are on one level but there is a narrow walkway to the house from the parking area. There is great walking on the hilly surrounding streets. Veterans Park is just a few blocks away with more walking trails, the Tupelo Aquatic Center, a great playground for kids, a disc golf course, and a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.

Guests will have access to the bedrooms, baths and kitchen upstairs. On site hostess will be in the downstairs apartment and does have access to the kitchen. She will avoid using the kitchen while guests are in the house. Your privacy and enjoyment of our house is our number one priority. Arrangements can be made to use the washer and dryer downstairs.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, a coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven and all the usual kitchen tools. We will have coffee, filters, sugar, milk and some snacks waiting for you.

Built in 1901, the restoration on this home was completed in 2020. Set in Tupelo's Mill Village the neighborhood is unique in location, history and feel. Tupelo's Mill Village adjoins downtown making this home a very short walk to downtown! Just a block from Relics Antique Market, it is less than 10 minutes to Main Street and less than 15min walk to Fairpark.

The space
The restoration of this home kept as many original details as possible while updating for easy use in 2020! The house is about 1100 square feet but feels larger and quite open thanks to the 11' ceilings. The kitchen includes a dining room table that will seat up to 10 people and has all new appliances. The kitchen, entry way and living room are three rooms but have a very open feel. The windows throughout the house are much larger than standard windows allowing for great light.

The living room has a new sofa (that pulls out to a queen bed), an oversized chair where we spend lots of time when we are here and working gas fireplace.

Sleeping arrangements include:
* Living Space - a new sofa with a queen pull out
* Bedroom One - double bed
* Bedroom Two - two single beds

There is one bathroom, also completely updated in 2020, with a refurbished clawfoot tub.

There is onsite parking.

We provide both a traditional coffee pot and a Keurig. We provide some filters as well and often coffee.

We have lots of staples in the house and you are welcome to use what is here.

PETS: Pets are welcome. There is a $50 pet fee and we ask that pets not be left unattended. We do ask that you pick up after your pet so our yard and space are clean for the next guests.
