The space
Our space consist of an open area with comfortable bedding and cotton sheets. There is also a large living area to kick back, relax, and watch Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime or cable, or sit at the bar and have a drink and watch your favorite sports. We have an ice maker, mini refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and keurig coffee maker with coffee and creamer provided. I also provide snacks, water, and soft drinks. We also have a relaxing outdoor fireplace with plenty of sitting and tables and ice gas grill for your convenience.I enjoy social media myself and offer high speed internet

Other things to note
We ask that non paying visitors do not come on property unless special permission. The ice machine is only for drinks not filling coolers because if ice machine gets low it will mess the machine up. We ask you dispose of your trash outside in garbage can provided. We try to keep our prices as low as we can so please try to conserve with heating and air also when leaving please cut lights off and adjust heat or air when leaving.

Private cozy one bedroom with a bathroom guesthouse available. It is conveniently located in downtown Tupelo. Private entrance and includes wifi, roku tv, microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. Within walking distance to downtown Tupelo with great Restaurants.

The Yeti Escape is a 900 sq. Ft. In-law suite with a 15ft x 30ft back patio off the back over looking the lake. separate from the main home sitting out to it self very private and peaceful!! The chapel was formerly a wedding chapel, located in Pontotoc, MS and nestled between Tupelo (Elvis Birthplace) and Oxford (Ole Miss or The University of MS). Pontotoc is home the Bodock Festival, its on the Blues Trail, The center of The Rails to Trails Bike Trail and many antique stores. Located 8 miles from Toyota in Blue Springs, MS. We are 8 minutes from The Cherry Creek Orchard and 10 minutes to the Natchez Trace Parkway. If you golf we are 5 minutes from the golf course.

The space
The entire space has been remodeled from a former wedding chapel to a king Airbnb suite with an amazing outdoor paradise. TV's inside and outside, swing bed, outdoor sofa and chairs, dining table and chairs all under the covered pavilion. Inside is a king sized bed, a comfy sofa, and a reclining chair, a kitchenette, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. The surroundings are beautiful gardens with fountains, lights, windchimes all surrounded by 100 year old cedar trees. Where the chapel is locals about 5 minutes to the golf course.

Guest access
Guests have access to the chapel, the pavilion and the fireplace. There are tv's indoors and outdoors. Very comfortable, so come to relax. There is plenty of great foods around the area.

Other things to note
The fireplace comes with wood for your first fire. There are stores around that sell wood where you can get more. We are 4 miles from Walmart. If you are staying for more than 2 nights and you are a Walmart plus member, I will work together with you to have your delivery completed and inside. I will make sure your perishable things are in the refrigerator for your arrival. It’s all possible when we work together!

The space
Our guest house is attached to the carport. The main house that we live in is on the opposite side of the carport. You will have covered parking just a few steps away from the entrance. The sofa is also a futon/bed . We are centrally located and only a few miles from downtown, the hospital, local restaurants, the Ballard Park as well as the Natchez Trace. You may see us out in the yard tending the flowerbeds or hanging out on the back deck, but we respect our guests privacy and you will not be disturbed. My husband and I are available if you need anything.

You will pull into the carport on the left-hand side and the entrance to the guest house will be a few steps away on the left.

Other things to note
We can accommodate 3 guests. The bed room has a king sized bed. The sofa in the living room is a futon/sleeper. Please know, we do not have a washer and dryer in the guest house. There is a brand new laundry facility 2 miles from the house that is very nice.
I would also like to mention that when we had our guest house listed a year ago (and before updating), we had over 100, 5 star reviews!

The space
Please read completely. Queen bed. Very private and lost in the hustle of the city. The main home is a historic Colonial built in 1890 with tons of local history and along with the neighborhood is on the National Historic Register. Located on a street with other historic homes which have been converted into offices, the neighborhood is fairly quite to be in the middle of downtown. The property is within walking distance of downtown Main Street restaurants, shopping, and events. The home is located a few blocks from the Bancorpsouth Arena and Fairpark. Guest have access to the pool when open. This property is not for pool parties, cookouts etc. Only the guest listed on the original booking are allowed on the property unless prior written consent is given by the owner.

Disclosures:

In an effort to be totally Honest about the property I have made a few disclosures based on previous guest stays. I do make every effort to continue the improvement of this property as finances allow. This list will change as the property changes. This is a wonderful property, however I want to be as transparent as possible before you book. Please note the following items:

-Pool is normally open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
-unfortunately this property is not currently handicap friendly. The walkway from parking area to the guest house is uneven, and there are several steps at the guest house porch.
-There is internet with Netflix access but not local cable.
-The main house on the property is a historic structure which we are wrapping up the renovation on.
-the person booking the property must be present for the stay.
-there is not cable TV, only WiFi with access to Netflix. This is stated several times.
-the shower is small and the tile in the bathroom has brown streaks in it. I promise it is not dirt, it’s the way the tile is made. Sorry, I wasn’t the one who picked it out.
-you are renting the guest house, not the whole property, access to the main house and garage on the property are not allowed
-there is no central HVAC. We have window units and space heaters which work very well.
-yes there is a hot tub on the property, but is does not work. It’s not listed nor shown in the photos for that reason. Hopefully one day the repairman fix it.
-winter months, due to the number of trees and vast size of the property , leaves will be on the ground until Spring. We do our best to keep the main walkways clear, but patios and yard are an impossible task. Leaves are cleaned up during spring.
-the landscaping in the back is beautiful during the spring and summer, but not so much in the fall and winter as most of it dies back.
-there is not room service nor cleaning each day. The property is cleaned between each guest’s stay.
-All liens are white so they can be bleached. Everything is bleached between guest, if you have an allergy To bleach please alert me ahead of your stay and I will do my best to accommodate.

Our space is recently 100% renovated and ready for your peaceful stay, complete with a large kitchen area, queen size bed, a spacious walk-in shower, as well as access to the pool. Your stay also features our 2 pet ducks right outside the unit! Don't worry, they are extremely friendly and cute!

The space
The property is a recently renovated guesthouse next to our primary residence. It has a full bathroom, full kitchen area complete with countertop appliances, a living area, and bedroom.

The bedroom is a separate room, however, it is set up more like a loft: the bedroom walls do not go up to the ceiling (this is for airflow from the mini-split).


Guests have first access to the pool; should we plan to use it during your stay, we will reach out to you beforehand. The pool is open year round, however, it is warm usually between Memorial Day through the middle of September.

Guest access
All spaces inside the guesthouse are available for guest use including the patio, pool, and backyard sitting area complete with ducks, pond, and garden.

If you need to use the EV charger, just let us know before your stay and we will have it readily available upon arrival.

Other things to note
Parking is available in front of the guesthouse; room for 2-3 vehicles. If you have a larger than normal vehicle (like an RV), please let us know beforehand as we have power lines that could create an issue.

There is no oven, only a toaster oven.

The guesthouse does not have its own address, so for DoorDash or other deliveries be sure to specify guesthouse around back instead of the primary residence.
