We are next to a bus stop if you want to save money taking Ubers downtown.

This is the lower unit of a duplex. Everything is separate so you don’t need to worry about sharing spaces. You have access to the backyard while upstairs tenant has access to the front yard.

Heat/AC is controlled by owner. If not comfortable we can have it be adjusted.

There is a dog upstairs who barks occasionally when someone goes to the front door.

This trendy room with private entrance is one mile away from the lake and two boat docks with picnic areas by the docks , where you can swim, fish, relax in a hammock , play sports on the grass. It’s no wonder it’s named The City By The Lake! It’s near the freeway , approximately 5 min drive , near Streets Of Indian Lake shops , trendy restaurants theatre. In the summer it offers free music in the outdoor amphitheater . It’s conveniently 20 min from Nashville :)

The space
This is a one large bedroom with a king size bed but a child is welcome if they can share the king size bed or sleep in their own sleeping bags. Also I can provide a foldout single size cot if necessary. Please let me know in advance :)There is no breakfast provided . There is a coffee machine and coffee pods and a small fridge and a microwave . There is a shower and a bathtub and a walk in closet . I do have two small dogs that have a dog door which they use to come in and out of , on their own . However the yard is divided in two by a wire fence so your pets are separate from mine and free to go outside :)
Also please make sure your pets are free of ticks and fleas :)
Just a heads up my little dogs will bark at times after 11:00 as they sense a wild animal or if the neighbors ‘ dogs bark they instigate each other … thank you.

Our max occupancy is firm and we cannot accommodate groups larger than 2. This is a second-floor studio located above the detached home office, so climbing steps is required. We live in the main house (at the front of the property), and your studio is completely separate and private.

We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog. Dogs must remain on-leash at all times outside the rental. Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets. (More details in House Rules.)

Guests are required to sign a digital rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or immediately upon receipt if your arrival is within 5 days) or your reservation is subject to cancellation in accordance with the agreed-upon cancellation policy.

Guests have a private entrance with a keypad entry. We will program a personal entry code for you to use during your visit. This code is unique to you and will only be active during your stay, adding a level of security and convenience for every guest.

PARKING:
There is a one-car parking space located next to the front door of The Carriage House that is designated specifically for our guests. If you are traveling in an electric vehicle, we have a ChargePoint Homeflex Level 2 EV charger in the parking space. You are welcome to charge your vehicle during your stay! This is a complimentary service for our guests only.

STAIRS:
Please note that this is a second floor unit, so it is not suitable for guests who cannot walk up 1 flight of stairs. Stairs are interior and do have a bannister. The space below the unit is a garage that is used for storage only. The garage is not available for guest access/use.

PRIVACY/SOFA BED:
Guests who wish to use the sofa bed as well as the queen bed should note that the doorway between the living room and the bedroom does not have a door, so the spaces cannot be fully closed off from one another which may not fit the privacy preferences of some guests. The bathroom is located off the bedroom area, so guests sleeping on the sofa bed would need to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom.
