Hobo's Hideaway offers a spacious and relaxing country setting. We are located 5 minutes from the Historic Liepers Fork area. We are minutes from the beautiful Natchez Trace. Nashville is an approximate 40 minute drive; Franklin is a 15-20 minute drive. Airport is approximately 45 minutes. Quick access to I-840 exchange makes the Spring Hill area very convenient.

The space
New construction 2019. 5 minutes to Natchez Trace and Leiper's Fork. Our property is located on 6 acres of land in the outskirts of Nashville, TN. Perfect for those planning to be in the area for a few days or a few weeks! We have hosted a number of families needing an extended stay for the purpose of new home construction and/or business purposes. Our space was constructed for providing a restful home like atmosphere that is perfect for those who wish to escape the drab feeling of the hotel/motel environment, and provides visitors a more spacious, secluded and private dwelling. Please note, we are off the beaten path in the country. Peaceful with lots of space and amenities. Downtown Nashville is a 40 minute drive minimum. Our property is meant to feel like a home. We highly suggest renting a car as ride share services can be difficult to obtain in the area. Please feel free to message if you have any questions before booking.

Other things to note
There is a beautiful creek on the back side of the property that guests are welcome to visit. Please note, it can be a strenuous climb for those who have limited physical abilities. Though our four legged family members are friendly, we do ask that you do not feed or pet the animals on the property without prior approval and/or assistance. Max occupancy 4.

Downtown Franklin is 10 minute walk (1/2 Mile) & Pinkerton park with 1 mile walking trail is 1/4 mile away. There is a brand new sidewalk to downtown Franklin and Pinkerton Park just across the street.

The temperature inside is set at 70-71 and controlled remotely by us. Please choose another place if you require any major temperature adjustments. The central system fan does run very quietly to keep the temp as comfortable as possible. If this poses an issue please consider another place. We have also had increasing issues with the electronics being disconnected during stays so if you disconnect the tv or internet there will be a $100 charge to get them reconnected. Please call with any questions on video game operation.

The space has a " 75" TV and complimentary popcorn station.. We have ATT Direct TV and you are sure to find something for everyone to enjoy. You can sign in using guest mode and access streaming services using YOUR OWN account.

We are on site & available should you have any problems such as help getting onto our network or working the tv.

A Keyless entry system was added so you do not have to keep up with a key.

The space
You could park here and walk to get anything you need. Tons of quaint coffee shops and retail along with all sorts of dining options. Cool Springs is a short drive to large shopping and restaurant areas. Downtown Nashville is 20mi north. Downtown Franklin has many festivals and events throughout the year that you can find at the visitfranklin website. Access to the space is one step down into the front entrance. Downstairs has a sofa bed but the only bathroom is upstairs so it’s great for couples or families w/small children. The upstairs has a vaulted ceiling that gets low on the sides so taller guests need to watch their head if they are walking on the sides of the room where the ceiling gets lower.

You will pull into the driveway of the main house and go down to the garage. Please park in the dedicated spot on the left so that the driveway and right side of the garage remain clear.

Other things to note
The only bathroom is upstairs with the main bedroom so the space is best for couples or families with small children since the other sleeping area is the downstairs sofa bed.

An absolute gem! Situated in the heart of what makes Franklin so charming. Comfortably sleeps 2! We can accommodate a third guest (futon/couch) for an additional fee.

The space
A Stone’s Throw is located behind the owner’s house and is above the detached garage. Upon arrival, guests will follow the signs to the private guest entrance.

When you walk in, the main entry level has some great guest amenities: bikes to ride around town, umbrellas and panchos (so the rain doesn’t keep you inside), hats that can be borrowed in case you forgot one, and cozy blankets for snuggling under the patio lights around the fire. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer in the entry level.

The living area is located up the stairs and offers panoramic views with plenty of natural light. The space is an open studio configuration with a king bed, luxurious futon/couch and telescoping table that can transform from a coffee table to a dining space. The kitchenette offers multiple ways for you to enjoy your morning cup of coffee be it French press, drip brewer or single serve Keurig. We also provide guests with a starter bag of local ground coffee and several tea options for the non-coffee drinkers. The bathroom is private and has a walk-in shower. The TV can be adjusted to view from the living area or the bed. Don’t worry, you won’t have to miss the big game or your favorite TV show because Xfinity cable is available via Xfinity app on the Roku equipped TV. You also have access to your favorite streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, HBO, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, etc) but guests will need to log-in to their own personal accounts in order to access the streaming services.

The week prior to your stay, guests receive a Welcome message on Airbnb for their review. Contained in this message will be a unique guest access code for the door lock to be used throughout your stay.

Located behind A Stone’s Throw is Kimbro’s Picking’ Parlor, a small live music venue. Most nights (and especially on weekends-they are open until 1AM), you will be able to hear the lively blues and Americana music coming through the trees from the house-turned-venue. It’s part of the fabric of downtown living. The majority of our guests have loved it but if you are sensitive to sounds/an early to bed person this property will not be appropriate for you.

Guest parking is limited to 1 car.

We love our animals, but please leave yours at home as pets are not allowed at A Stone’s Throw.

Our kitchen is a kitchenette and features a sink, a microwave and convection toaster oven that can be used to toast and bake.

Guests will need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the main living space located on the second floor.

The Postmaster's Perch is located on 4th Ave S in Downtown Franklin's historic district. Just a short and pleasant 2 block walk to some great downtown Main Street dining, shopping and entertainment.

Situated next to its main house which was built in 1875 by Franklin’s first post Civil War postmaster C.S. Moss. Less than two blocks from Main Street. The Perch is a detached, carriage house and is set up exclusively for guest use.

Our family pet and "alarm system" may say hello to you when you arrive. His name is Jack and has his own separate fenced in space on the property. He's a rescue but is slow to warm up. So if he barks please don't take it personally and just let him be in his space.
