Our renovated 1912 carriage house was designed exclusively for Airbnb guests! Set in the midst of Semper Fulgens gardens, this luxury apartment is small but features a large bathroom with clawfoot tub, a loft bedroom with king sized bed, a sitting area, and coffee bar. There is not a full kitchen, but we do have a fridge.
Not suitable for kids.
A place for pet lovers! We do have two dogs, a cat and chickens who live on the property and have access to courtyard and event space.
The space
Original brick walls with colorful patina set the tone of this rustic retreat! Fresh from a complete renovation, the original caretaker's apartment has been updated with a loft bedroom, large bathroom with claw foot tub, and charming sitting area. While there is a microwave, refrigerator, and Nespresso, there is not a full kitchen.
**COVID ADDITION: THE NEST HAS ITS OWN FUJITISU MINI SPLITS FOR HEATING AND AIR & WE USE A HIGH POWERED WINIX 5500-2 AIR PURIFIER BETWEEN GUEST STAYS.

The whole "tiny house" is yours. The gardens and indoor and outdoor seating are shared space we invite you to enjoy. Parking is on the street out front—there is plenty of availability. There is a driveway and courtyard to cross to get to the Nest, so if you need help with your luggage, please let us know in advance so we can be on hand!
Other things to note
The entire space is about 300 square feet, and is perfect for one or two people. The bedroom loft is on the second floor, accessed by stairs. These stairs are steeper than normal stairs,so please be aware. Also, please note, the King bed is not as long as a typical king, to better fit the space. This space is not handicap accessible. **NOTE: We are on Central Time.
