- "2 couples went for a weekend getaway. Property was just as described. Very clean and nice. You will have to bring your own seasonings, staples , coffee and cream. Home has no pantry items. We only made breakfast so wasn’t a problem for us. Is about a 45 minute drive to The Grand Ole Opry and General Jackson River Cruise which we would highly suggest. Broadway in Nashville was also about 45 minutes . All fun things to do but will need to allow for travel. Overall had a great weekend at Matt’s cottage and would recommend. Located a short five block walk to the shops and restaurants of Historic Downtown Franklin, our stylishly appointed loft apartment rests above the three car garage behind our 100 year old home. Built in 1998, the 850 square foot spacious apartment comfortably sleeps two in a queen sized bed. There is also a twin sized pull-out sofa in the living room.
