When you arrive at Rose Cottage, you will be stepping back into the history of Franklin to enjoy a little piece of "times past" with its architecture and furnishings.
Even though the cottage has been completely modernized, it still is reminiscent of another time with careful attention given to the balance between old and new.

We are a pet-friendly home. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know in advance and select the number of pets you are bringing. We allow up to two dogs. If you have any other type of pet or more than two dogs, please reach out before booking. These are approved on a case-by-case basis. Our standard pet fee is $75, which covers 2 dogs for up to 4 nights. Anything beyond that, you will be charged a separate fee after booking of $15 per night per pet.

After booking, we will also send you a pet agreement that will need to be signed before your arrival. It basically asks guests to follow these guidelines:

- Pick up after dog droppings

- Do not allow the dog to bark excessively

- Do not allow dogs on furniture or beds

- Don’t leave animals unsupervised, unless they are in a crate.

- Put pet sheets on furniture

- Pets must be housebroken

- Crate the dog if left unattended indoors for a long period of time.

- Groom the dog before the trip and vacuum after your pet if it sheds excessively

- The dog must be up-to-date on immunizations

Nestled in the middle of nine wooded acres, This NEW carriage house opened December 2022. This is our third vacation rental property. Each of them is entirely unique from other properties in the area (see the photos!), all with excellent reviews. This retreat has soaring cathedral ceilings with architectural beams, and a slate-surround wood burning fireplace. All firewood is provided. As a roomy two-bedroom 1,034 ft.², one bedroom features a king bed, and the other bedroom features a gorgeous queen sleigh bed. The deck in the rear of the house allows for beautiful views of the forest. And the fire pit area is sure to be a hit with your group. It features giga-speed fiber internet with large smart TV’s in both bedrooms and a 65” smart TV in the living area. Enjoy our beautiful tiny house located on 8-acre horse farm in Franklin just outside of Nashville! The stylish home has kitchen, bathroom, sleeping loft and office nook. It has a high ceiling downstairsand light colors with plenty of windows, as well as ambient lighting for a relaxing experience. Also on the property, is our lovely main house, cottage, barn and artist's studio 60 feet away from tiny house. Visit historic downtown Franklin for great entertainment and dining, as well as a hiking trails nearby for the nature lover! Only 20 minutes from Music City where you will experience country music at its finest! We are close to major freeways but tucked away in a country setting. Please note the stairs are higher than usual and the sleeping loft has very low ceiling so you can’t stand up must be very agile and comfortable in those settings. Also we have a gravel road and no sidewalks . You will park in the grass so make sure you are comfortable with that ! This is a rural setting!

The kitchenette is generously stocked as is the bathroom. The large shower is bright and roomy.

The home offers 2 bedrooms & 1 bath, comfortably occupying 4 people. If you have 6 in your group, we do have a sofa sleeper in the living room. You will enter in through the backdoor and be welcomed in by the great fully stocked kitchen with complimentary coffee. This home also includes a large porch and backyard perfect for a relaxing or barbecuing with friends or family. The garage will not be available for guest use, the driveway can easily fit 4 cars! - "We enjoyed being in Franklin and exploring the area. This house allowed us to walk to the downtown area which was a big plus and it was near family that lives in Franklin. First impression… it looks clean. But a closer look showed that under the couch was filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. As you enter the back door there was a bug box on the floor with a little web and lots of little dead bugs in it. The back door needs to have better weather stripping as you can see the light outside at the bottom… thus the bug box. The tub was quite brown and needed some elbow grease and a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I must not have noticed online that there is not a kitchen table or chairs nor were there bar stools. There was a table and chairs outside but no umbrella and it was not under a covering and it was hot out. Under a covered area there were a few Adirondack chairs but not a table to eat at. So that was all kinda odd. On a good note, the bed was super comfy which was huge!"

Very nice comfortable quiet room in a beautiful peaceful home.You will also have access to the Kitchen upon request, if you so desire... Well behaved pets allowed . There is a $15 fee per Night for each pet. I will collect the pet fee through Air Bnb after the trip is finished. Very comfortable Queen size bed.

The space
The bed is a very comfortable queen-size. You will have private access to a living room with a TV and fireplace and mini refrigerator with A small bar and a sink. Comfortable leather recliners and a leather loveseat. There is also a microwave. All located in the lower part of the house, With a private entrance. Very private. You can see from the pictures there's a beautiful view from the living room.
